庭のレモンを収穫しました。早速、切って食べてみて、美味しく実ったことに妻と、遊びに来ていた義妹と喜んでいます。今年は天候が良かったのか、全部で 10 個のレモンを収穫することができました。肥料をあげずに、水やりだけしてきたのですが、来年はちゃんと肥料をあげて感謝したいと思います。クルミは今日も穏やかに過ごしています。気温が上がって、暖かいリビングでよく眠っていました。

Harvested lemons from the garden. My wife immediately cut and ate it, and I and sister-in-law, who came to visit, are delighted with the delicious fruit. We were able to harvest a total of 10 lemons this year, probably because of the good weather. I have only watered them without giving them fertilizer, but next year I would like to thank them for giving them proper fertilizer. Kurumi is doing well today as well. The temperature rose and he slept well in the warm living room.

勤労感謝の祝日、朝から冷たい雨が降り続いています。気温は昨日から 10℃下がって、12 月下旬の寒さになりました。明日は晴れて、また 20℃に近い気温になるとの予報が出ています。気温の大きな変化に驚いています。
午後、早くから薪ストーブで暖をとることにしました。雨の日は、洗濯物を外に出している家がないので、少し煙突から煙が出ても安心です。クルミもこの暖かさに包まれて遊ぶことができました。日に 3 回の食事時刻を覚えたようです。午後 4 時になると食事の催促をするようになりました。

It’s Thanksgiving Day today, cold rain has been falling since morning. The temperature has dropped by 10 degrees Celsius since yesterday, making it cold as late December. The weather forecast says it will be sunny tomorrow and the temperature will be close to 20 degrees Celsius. I am amazed at the big changes in temperature just one day.
Early in the afternoon, I decided to warm up by the wood stove. On rainy days, there is no house where the laundry is put outside, so it is safe even if there is a little smoke coming out of the chimney. Kurumi was also able to play wrapped in this warmth. It seems that he has memorized the meal times three times a day. At 4:00 p.m., he started reminding my wife to eat.

今日、日中は太陽の暖かさに恵まれた穏やかな日でした。庭のレモンが黄色く色づいてきて、そろそろ収穫時かも知れません。私は友人と新しいプロジェクトを始めています。LED テープとその駆動回路を準備して、電子工作を始めました。来月の国家試験もあるのですが、設計仕事はワクワクします。
クルミは窓から差し込む陽の光に囲まれてのんびりしていました。私は久しぶりに残業もしていたのでクルミとは遊べませんでした。

Today was a calm day blessed with the warmth of the sun. The lemons in the garden are turning yellow and it may be time to harvest. I am starting a new project with friends. I prepared the LED tape and its driving circuit and started the electronic work. I have a national exam next month, but I am excited about the design work.
Kurumi was relaxing surrounded by the sunlight streaming through the window. I was also working overtime for the first time in a while, so I couldn’t play with Kurumi.

朝降っていた雨は正午前にはすっかり止んで青空が広がりました。陽の光によって木々の紅葉がとても綺麗に映えています。ご近所の T さん宅にお邪魔してサポートをした帰りに少し歩くことができました。
この住宅の全戸に配布された自主防災マニュアルと資料を読んで、常備している防災用品を出して点検してみました。発電機を内蔵したラジオは健在でした。何も起きないことを願いますが、この先に必ず来る災害に備えなければなりません。
いつも一緒にいるのですっかりと寂しがりやになってしまいましたが、クルミは今日も穏やかに過ごしています。

The rain that had been falling in the morning had completely stopped before noon and the blue sky spread out. The leaves of the trees are beautifully illuminated by the sunlight. I was able to walk a little on the way home from visiting T-san in the neighborhood to support them.
I read the self disaster prevention manual and materials distributed to all houses in this area, took out the emergency goods that I have, and checked them out. Radio with built-in generator was alive and well. We hope nothing happens, but we must prepare for the disaster that is sure to come.
Kurumi becomes quite lonely because we are always with him, but Kurumi is calm today as well.

朝は短い時間でしたが陽射しがありました。その後、曇り出して、午後からは冷たい雨が降る寒い一日でした。私は 1 ヶ月後に迫った国家試験に向けて勉強を再開しています。技能試験では 13 の問題の中から出題されます。13 の問題を全て完璧にできるようにしなければなりません。後 5 週間、頑張ってみます。
今日もクルミとおもちゃで遊ぶ時間が持てました。今日も比較的安定しているクルミを見ていると安心します。夕方から火を入れたストーブの暖かさに包まれてのんびりしていました。

In the morning, it was short but the sun was shining. After that, it turned cloudy and it was a cold day with cold rain in the afternoon. I am resuming my studies for the upcoming national exam in a month. The technical test is the one of 13 questions. Thus I must be able to do all 13 cases perfectly. I’ll try my best in the next 5 weeks.
I had time to play with Kurumi using toys again today. It’s reassuring to see Kurumi being relatively stable today. He was relaxing in the warmth of the stove that I put fire in from the evening.

銀杏並木が黄色く色づきました。毎年恒例の祭りが開催されています。今年は行動制限も無く、露店が多く出ていました。この銀杏並木ができて今年で 95 年になるそうです。黄色い葉は冬には全て落ちてしまい、春には綺麗な若葉を見ることができます。夏にかけて剪定された枝がぐんぐんと伸びるのを見ていると壮観です。秋には多くの銀杏が実ります。露店で銀杏を買いました。息子夫婦が来た時に一緒に食べたことを思い出しています。
クルミは今日、良く眠っていますが、時計が分かるのか、食事の時間になると起きてきてねだります。今日は太陽の暖かさを窓際でも感じることができたので、クルミを外に出さないようにしてみました。このまま容体が安定してくれることを望みます。

Ginkgo trees turned yellow. An annual festival is held here. There were no restrictions on movement this year, and there were many stalls. This year marks the 95th anniversary of the line of ginkgo trees. All the yellow leaves fall off in winter, and beautiful young leaves can be seen in spring. It is spectacular to see the pruned branches growing steadily over the summer. Many ginkgo nuts fruit in autumn. I bought ginkgo nuts at a stall. I remember eating with my son and his wife when they came.
Kurumi is sleeping well today, but he wakes up when it’s time to eat and asks if he knows the clock. He could feel the warmth of the sun even at the window side today, so I tried to keep Kurumi inside. I hope he stays stable.

この時期になると喪中による年賀欠礼の知らせを受けます。今日、同年代の友人の親御さんが今年他界されたことをこのハガキで知らされました。友人とは年に数回しか連絡を取り合うことありません。せめて年賀状で近況を伝えたいのですが、来年の年賀状ではなく、寒中見舞いにしようと思います。年々、私が書く年賀状の枚数は減っていきますが、今年も昨年よりも数を減らすことになりそうです。
クルミは少し不安点な日でした。時々、左下の方を見つめるようにしてじっと立ち止まっています。歩く時も体が傾いているのが気になります。そんな時間が今日は 2 度ありました。治ってしまうと普段のように元気なのですが、このような時間が多くなってきていることが心配です。

I only keep in touch with my friends a few times a year. I’d like to at least tell them about the current situation with a New Year’s card, but instead of next year’s New Year’s card, I’m going to send him a postcard of the winter. The number of New Year’s cards I write decreases year by year, and it seems likely that this year will also be less than last year.
Kurumi had a bit of an unsettling day. Occasionally, he stands still, staring at the bottom left. I’m worried about his body leaning when he walks. Kurumi had two such moments today. Once healed, He’s fine as usual, but I’m worried that he’s spending more and more time like this.

平日は人出が少ないと思い、車でアウトレットモールに行ってきました。ここは多くの店に犬を連れて入ることができて便利です。今日も日中は天気が良く暖かかったのでテラスで昼食を摂ることができました。この暖かさで鳩も日向ぼっこをしていて、クルミもそんな鳩を見つめていました。このような光景を見ていると幸せを感じます。しかし、世界では地球の温暖化が原因とみられる異常気象による被害が多く発生しています。きっとこの温暖化は止めることができないのですが、今週、全世界の人口は 80 億人となり、将来のことを考えて自分にできることを少しでも続けようと思います。

I thought that there would be few people on weekdays, so we went to the outlet mall by car. It’s convenient because we can bring our dog into many shops here. The weather was nice and warm during the day, so we were able to have lunch on the terrace. The pigeons were basking in the warmth, and Kurumi was staring at them. I feel happy when I see such a scene. However, many damages are occurring around the world due to abnormal weather that is thought to be caused by global warming. I’m sure this global warming cannot be stopped, but this week the world’s population was reached 8 billion, and I will continue to think about the future and do what I can.

今日は晴れて暖かくなりました。この天気を利用してタイヤホイールの傷を修理してみました。小さな傷だったので自分で挑戦してみました。光硬化型のパテは使いやすく、小さな面積であれば塗装も容易でした。車から取り外さない状態での作業なので完全ではありませんが目立たなくできました。
天気が良いのでクルミと庭で過ごしました。風もなく穏やかで、気持ちの良い時間を過ごせました。昨日、接種したワクチンの副反応が出てきて倦怠感が強く、こんな時間をクルミと過ごせて良かったです。

It’s sunny and warm today. I used this weather to repair the scratches on the tire wheel. It was a small scratch, so I tried it myself. The light-curing putty was easy to use, and it was easy to paint small areas. It wasn’t perfect, but it was done without removing it from the car.
The weather was nice so I spent it in the garden with Kurumi. There was no wind and it was calm and I had a pleasant time. Today, I have a side reaction to the vaccine I received yesterday, and I felt very tired. But I appreciated this pleasant time with Kurumi in the garden.

1 ヶ月ぶりに雨の降る朝となりました。一日中気温が上がらず、寒い一日でした。クルミはストーブから吹き出す暖かい風にむかって舌を出していました。夕方から今シーズン初めて、薪ストーブを使うこととしました。直ぐにリビングは暖かい空気に包まれました。
私は 5 回目のワクチン接種を受けました。今回のワクチンはオミクロンに対応したものだそうです。しかし、新種のウィルスが見つかっているようで、ウィルスとの追いかけごっこが続きます。ワクチン接種会場には自転車で行ったので、帰りは少し遠回りをして初冬の空気を感じてきました。

It rained from this morning, never rained last about a month. It was a cold day and the temperature did not rise all day. Kurumi stuck out his tongue in the warm breeze from the stove. I decided to use the wood stove for the first time this season from the evening. The living room was immediately filled with warm air.
I have had my 5th vaccination. It seems that this vaccine is compatible with Omicron BA4 / BA5. However, it seems that a new kind of virus has been found, and the chasing game with the virus continues. I went to the vaccination venue by bicycle, so I took a little detour on the way home and felt the early winter air.
