来月 13 歳になるクルミの健診を受けてきました。体重は 2.1kg で変化なし。心音も異常なし。健康面では問題が無いクルミです。私たちも安心しました。ただ、甘えん坊になってしまい、わがままなクルミには少し手をやいてしまいます。
明け方、東の空がオレンジ色に染まっているのが綺麗でした。今日は木枯らしが吹いた地域があったようですが、ジャケットを着ないでも寒く無い朝でした。

Kurumi will be 13th next month, he has had a checkup today. Weight remained unchanged at 2.1 kg. No abnormal heart sounds. Kurumi has no health problems. We felt safe too. However, he becomes a spoiled dog and gets a little troubled by the selfish Kurumi.
At dawn, it was beautiful that the eastern sky was dyed orange. It seems that there was a cold wind blowing in some areas today, but it was not cold even without a jacket here.

天気予報では夕方から雨になるとのことで、その前に公園を散策することにしました。今日は日曜なので多くの家族連れが公園に来ていました。ライチ君という名前のフェレットを連れている女性と会って話をすることもできて楽しいひと時でした。
クルミは枯葉が積もる散歩道を滑りながら歩いていました。そして帰りにはお気に入りのドッグカフェで一休み、クルミはおやつをもらってご機嫌でした。

The weather forecast said it would rain in the evening, so we decided to take a walk in the park before that. Today is Sunday, so many families came to the park. It was also a fun time to meet and talk with a woman who has a ferret his name is Lychee.
Kurumi was sliding along a promenade covered with dead leaves. And on the way back, we took a break at our favorite dog cafe, and Kurumi was in a good mood with a snack.

今日も昼間は暖かく、穏やかな日でした。昨夜は近くの公園で小火騒ぎがあり、多くの消防車が来ていました。何事もなくて安心しています。明日からは天気が悪くなり、来週は寒くなろとのことでリビングの窓を掃除しました。雨避けが無い窓は定期的に掃除が必要です。
クルミは昨日のトリミングが疲れたのか朝から良く眠っています。昼と夜が逆転してしまわないと良いのですが。時々、おもちゃを出して遊んでやりました。

It was a warm and calm day again today. There was a small fire in a nearby park last night, and many fire trucks were there. I am relieved that everything is fine. The weather will get worse from tomorrow, and it will be cold next week, so I cleaned the windows in the living room. Windows without rain shelters need regular cleaning.
Kurumi has been sleeping well since yesterday’s trimming. I hope the day and night are not reversed for him. Sometimes I took out toys and played with them.

10 年以上前に購入したパソコンを趣味のアマチュア無線で利用しています。最近、キーボード右半分のキーが打てなくなってしまいました。おそらく、配線が切れたものと思われます。この黒いキーボードはネットで中古品を購入したのですが、この 10 年以上使ってきて疲れてしまったのかも知れません。今回も中古の品を見つけて購入、交換して修理してみました。
クルミはトリミングの日です。行きはとても嫌がっていました。でも毛を切ってもらってシャンプーをしてもらうとご機嫌のようです。今日は疲れてしまいましたね。

I am using a PC that I purchased over 10 years ago for my amateur radio hobby. Recently, the keys on the right half of the keyboard have become unusable. It’s possible that the wiring has been cut. I bought this black keyboard second-hand on the Internet, but it may have been worn out after using it for more than 10 years. I found a second-hand item this time, bought it, exchanged it, and repaired it.
Kurumi is trimming day today. He hated going there. But it seems to be in a good mood when he gets hair cut and shampooed. Kurumi is now tired today.

今日は久しぶりに友人との会食で電車で移動しています。最近、コロナウイルスの感染者が再び増加しています。日本では第 8 波が来ていると報じられ始めました。電車でも、街でも、人出が多く、以前のように賑やかになっています。違うのはマスクをほとんど全員の人が着けていることでしょう。来週オミクロンのワクチンを接種します。感染対策をして会食してきます。
今日は仕事にも追われて、クルミとの時間は持てない今日でした。明日も会食がありますが、昼間はクルミと遊ぶ時間を持ちたいと思います。

Today I am traveling by train for dinner with friends for the first time in a while. Recently, the number of people infected with coronavirus is increasing again. It has begun to be reported that the 8th wave is coming in Japan. There are many people on the trains and on the streets, and it is as lively as before. The difference is that almost everyone is wearing a mask. I will be getting the Omicron vaccine next week. I’m going to have a dinner with the infection measures.
I was busy with work today and didn’t have time to spend with Kurumi. I have a dinner party tomorrow also, but I would like to have time to play with him during the day.

今日は薪棚に薪を詰め込みました。私はドライバーさんともう一人の方の動きを手伝って働きました。全ての薪をトラックから棚に移動させたら、汗をかいてしまいました。良い天気で良かったのですが、力仕事をするには暑いような日でした。これでこの冬の準備も整いました。
クルミも良い天気のなか、庭に出て遊ぶことができました。今日はクルミの写真をスマホではなく、一眼レフのカメラで撮影したので私の方を見てくれました。クルミはいつも、スマホで撮影するとそっぽを向いてしまいます。

I packed firewood into the firewood shelf today. I worked with the driver and another person today. After moving all the firewood from the truck to the shelf, I was sweating. The weather was fine, but it was too hot for heavy lifting work. I am ready for this winter.
Kurumi was also able to go out and play in the garden in good weather. Today, I took a picture of him with a single-lens reflex camera, not a smartphone, so he looked at me. Kurumi always turn away when photographed with a smartphone.

今日も快晴で気持ちの良い一日でした。昨日修理から帰ってきたレンズを使って皆既月食の写真を撮ってみました。今回は天王星も月の影に隠れる希少な光景が見ることができました。太陽、地球、月、天王星が直線に並んだ瞬間を撮ることができました。月が暗くなっているので私のカメラでも青い天王星が確認できました。
クルミは今日も元気に遊んでいました。昼間は太陽の光が窓から差し込んでくるので暖かく、クルミも気持ちよく過ごしていました。

Today was another sunny and pleasant day. I took a picture of the total lunar eclipse using the lens that came back from repair yesterday. This time, I was able to see the rare sight of Uranus hiding in the shadow of the moon. I was able to capture the moment when the sun, earth, moon, and Uranus lined up in a straight line. Since the moon is getting darker, I was able to see blue Uranus with my camera.
Kurumi was playing well today as well. In the daytime, the sunlight came in through the window, so it was warm and he was comfortable.

クルミはとても寂しがりやさんになってしまいました。昨日まで息子夫婦が居て、たくさん遊んでくれたのですが、今日は私たち夫婦だけに戻ってしまいました。私たちが食事の支度をしている間、吠えて遊べと言っています。きっと数日もすれば諦めてくれることでしょう。
数週間前に修理に出していたレンズが戻ってきました。手ブレ機構が動かなくなってしまっていたのと、レンズ内部の清掃を依頼しました。少し高価な修理代でしたが、これでまた写真撮影を楽しもうと思います。

Kurumi has become a very lonely dog. Until yesterday, my son and his wife were here and played with him a lot, but today he is back to just I and my wife. He barks and tells us to play while we prepare food. I’m sure he’ll give up after a few days.
I got the lens back from repair a few weeks ago. The camera shake free mechanism stopped working, so I asked for cleaning inside the lens also. It was a little expensive repair fee, but I think I’ll enjoy photography again with this.

息子夫婦は私の車のトランクに入りきらないほどたくさんの荷物を持って帰っていきました。空港で別れた後、滑走路の向こうに沈む夕陽の写真を送ってくれました。この 2 週間、秋の日本を楽しんで満足したことと思います。私も彼らが楽しんでもらえたら幸せです。家に帰っての夕食時、夫婦 2 人とクルミの静かな生活に戻ったことを実感しました。
クルミは彼らが帰ってしまう時、少し寂しそうでした。今日もクルミにとっては暖かい日で良かったです。

My son and his wife left with so much luggage that they couldn’t fit in the trunk of my car. After parting at the airport, they sent me a photo of the sun setting over the runway. I hope they enjoyed the autumn in Japan for the past two weeks and were satisfied. I would be happy if they enjoyed it too. At dinner when I got home, I realized I was back in the quiet life of our couple and Kurumi.
Kurumi looked a little lonely when they left. Today was another warm good day for Kurumi.

息子夫婦と一緒に銀杏並木を散策しました。葉は黄色い木とまだ緑が残っている木があって季節の移り変わりを感じます。銀杏の実を見たことが無い息子の嫁は初めて見る実に驚いていました。既に匂いは弱くなっていますが、周囲は銀杏の匂いでした。クルミも息子とたくさん歩いていました。

We took a walk along the ginkgo trees with my son and his wife. Some trees have yellow leaves and others still have green leaves, so we could feel the change of seasons. My son’s wife has never seen ginkgo nuts / fruit, was really surprised to see them for the first time. The smell was already weak, but the surroundings were the smell of ginkgo. Kurumi also walked a lot with my son.
