今日はクルミの爪を切ってやりました。クルミは室内で飼われているので爪の伸びが早いです。彼の爪は黒いので血管の位置が見えにくいです。前回は獣医でも少し血管を切ってしまいました。そんな時には止血剤があるので大丈夫なのです。今日は一度も血を見ることはありませんでした。よかったよかった。
雪の降る地域では記録的な大雪に見舞われているのですが、私が住むこの地域は今日も快晴の天気に恵まれました。ありがたいことです。

I cut Kurumi’s nails today. Kurumi is kept indoors, so his nails grow quickly. His nails are black so it’s hard to see where the blood vessels are. Last time, even the veterinarian cut a little blood vessel. In such a case, there is a hemostatic agent, so it’s okay. I never saw blood today. good good good
In areas where it snows, we are experiencing record-breaking snowfall, but the area where I live was blessed with fine weather today. Thankfully.

妻と私は毎週土曜日にテニススクールに通っています。妻は休会中です。早く復帰したがっていますが、もうしばらく我慢です。今日も多くのメンバーから声をかけられました。皆さん、私の妻を気遣ってくれています。家に帰って、テニススクールの様子を妻に話しています。復帰したい、という気持ちもケガの回復に役立つと思います。
太陽の暖かさを感じられる午後、クルミと一緒に庭に出てみました。今年も水仙の芽が出てきました。寒いのですが、土の中では春の訪れが届いているようです。

My wife and I go to tennis school every Saturday. My wife is on absent. She wants to come back soon, but she’ll have to put up with it for a while. Many members have called out to me today. Everyone is taking care of my wife. I’m going home and telling my wife how the tennis school is going. I think the feeling of wanting to come back is also useful for recovering from injuries.
In the afternoon when I could feel the warmth of the sun, I went out into the garden with Kurumi. The daffodils have sprouted again this year. It’s cold, but it seems that spring has arrived in the soil.

去年の夏から半年、電気工事士の試験勉強をしました。今日、その試験結果が発表されて、私は合格することができました。久しぶりに国家試験に合格した喜びを感じています。合格証が送られて来るのをまって、免許証の申請です。これで屋内の電気配線工事も自分でできることになります。
今日は朝から天気が悪く、午後からはみぞれが降り始めました。夜になって雪にならないと良いのですが、心配です。クルミは今日も暖かい部屋で元気に過ごしていました。

I feel happy that I passed the national exam after a long time. Waiting for the certificate to arrive, it is time to apply for the official license. Now I can do the indoor electrical wiring myself.
The weather has been bad since the morning, and sleet started to fall in the afternoon. I hope it doesn’t snow at night, but I’m worried. Kurumi was doing well today in a warm room.

今朝は氷点下に冷え込みました。金魚が入っている睡蓮鉢の水も凍ってしまい、金魚たちは氷の下で静かにしていました。水の中には投げ込みヒーターを入れているのですが、この寒波では能力が足りません。テレビの報道番組でも日本全国で発生している寒波の影響が報じられています。暖かい春がとても待ち遠しい季節です。
クルミには寒い思いをさせたくないと思い、過保護になってしまっているかも知れません。しかし、暖かい環境にしてやってからは体調が良いようです。13 歳の老犬は人間だと私よりも歳をとっている身体です。大切にしてやります。

I can’t wait for the warm spring to come.
I may be overprotective because I don’t want Kurumi to feel cold. However, after putting him in a warm environment, it seems to be in good condition. A 13-year-old old dog is a body that is older than I am as a human being. I will cherish it.

リモートで業務をしているとネットワークが切断された途端に何もできなくなってしまいます。「Microsoft 365」サービスに障害発生して、Teams や Outlook などアクセス不可となりました。リモートでの会議の途中にこのような障害が発生してしまうと為す術もなくなります。幸いにも私が主催した会議が終わった後でしたが、今日は早く切り上げます。
妻は診察を受けてきて、これから始まるリハビリに期待と不安を抱えているようです。骨折してから今日で 6 週間が経過しました。肩に力を加えなければ動かす制限は無くなりました。家の中では腕を自由にできるので楽になりました。
寒い日です。日中でも庭の氷は溶けることはありません。冷蔵庫の中のほうが暖かい一日でした。こんな日はクルミは家の中です。しばらく寒さは続くようで、外出はしばらくお預けです。

My wife has been examined and seems to have expectations and anxiety about the rehabilitation that is about to begin. It’s been 6 weeks today since she broke her bone. There is no limit to movement unless she applies force to the shoulder. It’s easier because she can use her arms freely at home.
It’s a cold day. The ice in the garden never melts even during the day. It was a warmer day in the refrigerator. Kurumi is in the house on days like this. It seems that the cold will continue for a while, so he shall stay in home for a while.

私は特定患者さん向けの献血に行きました。20 歳から始めた献血も今日で 170回になりました。今日は病院からの希望でいつもより多くの血小板が必要だということで長い時間かかりました。いつも思うことは、患者さんのことです。少しでも役に立てるならこの時間は苦になりません。
天気予報のとおり、今日から寒波が来ていて、冷たい北風が夕方から強くなりました。クルミは暖かい部屋で今日ものんびりしていました。

I went to donate blood for a specific patient. I started donating blood when I was 20, and today I have donated blood 170 times. It took a long time today because the hospital requested more platelets than usual. I always think of my patients. If I can help even a little, this time will not be painful.
According to the weather forecast, a cold wave is coming from today, and the cold north wind became stronger in the evening. Kurumi was relaxing in his warm room today.

日本列島全体は、強烈な寒気に覆われはじめています。テレビの報道では、今日から水曜日にかけて注意が必要だと呼びかけています。これも偏西風の蛇行による影響です。大きな災害が起きないことを願う次第です。私が住む地域では雪の心配は無いようですが、寒気によって全てが凍ってしまいそうです。
クルミは私が外に出ようとすると後をついてきてしまいます。外はとても寒いので我慢させました。小さな体ですから心配です。

The whole Japanese archipelago is beginning to be covered with intense cold weather. Television reports are calling for caution from today through Wednesday. This is also due to the meandering westerlies. I hope that no big disaster will happen. Where I live there doesn’t seem to be any snow, but the cold weather seems to freeze everything.
Kurumi follows me when I try to go outside. It was very cold outside, so I put up with him. I’m worried because his body is too small.

妻を美容院に連れて行きました。髪を切ってもらいさっぱりしたようです。怪我をしてから 5 週間が経過しました。痛む時も少なくなっています。義妹に作ってもらったアームスリングが役に立っています。外出する機会が増えたことは嬉しいことです。骨折は完全に融合するまでには 2, 3 ヶ月必要のようです。後 1, 2 ヶ月は大事にします。
クルミは少し長い時間で待っていました。帰宅すると直ぐに食事です。あっという間に食べてしまいました。

I took my wife to the hairdresser. She got her hair cut and it looks refreshing. It’s been 5 weeks since her injury. It hurts less and less. The arm sling made by my sister-in-law is useful. I am happy that wife has more opportunities to go out. Fractures seem to take a few months to fully fuse. I’ll take care of her for the next month or two.
Kurumi waited a little longer. He eat as soon as we get home. Kurumi ate it in no time.

今日も良い天気に恵まれました。太陽の光が燦々と降り注いでくれると太陽電池が多くの電気を作り出してくれます。電力会社は今年の後半から更なる値上げを予定しているようです。多くの商品の価格が上がっています。同時に働く人たちの収入も上がることを願います。経済の好循環に繋がるのならば値上げも受け入れようと思います。
短い時間でしたがクルミと外で遊ぶことができました。天気は良かったのですが、風が冷たい午後でした。

If it leads to a virtuous cycle of the economy, I will accept the price increase.
It was a short time, but I was able to play outside with Kurumi. The weather was fine, but it was a windy afternoon.

洗濯物を干さない日でした。これを機会にテラスの手すりを掃除しました。しばらく掃除していなかったので汚れが多く、洗濯物が触れると汚れてしまいそうでした。白い手すりは輝きを取り戻して、洗濯物が風で揺れても心配ありません。これからは小まめに掃除しよう、といつも思うのですが、怠けてしまいます。
クルミは今日も元気にしていました。依然として歯磨きは大嫌いです。最近は歯ブラシではなく、シートを使っています。シートだと少しは言うことをきいてくれます。

It was a day when I didn’t dry the laundry. I took this opportunity to clean the railings on the terrace. It hadn’t been cleaned in a while, so there was a lot of dirt, and it seemed like the laundry would get dirty if it touched it. The white railings have regained their shine, so I don’t have to worry about the laundry swaying in the wind. I always think that I should clean more frequently from now on, but I get lazy.
Kurumi was doing well today as well. He still hates brushing his teeth. Recently, I use a sheet instead of a toothbrush. Kurumi accept well with the sheet I put to my finger.
