妻と通院し、医師と話しました。骨の回復は順調とのことで妻と私は安心しました。「転ばないように注意することです。」と医師に言われました。そして、明日からは本格的なリハビリテーションが始まります。まだ腕を上げることはできませんが、ずいぶんと楽になってきたようです。妻は早く車を運転してテニススクールに通いたいことと思います。その思いも回復に役立つことでしょう。
クルミは赤い服で一日を過ごしました。午前中は私たちが留守をしていたので少し寂しい思いをしたことでしょう。

相変わらずテレビの報道番組や新聞誌面ではウクライナとロシアの戦争について報じられています。とうとう 1 年が経過してしまいました。この期間に命を失った人の数は多く、使われた費用は莫大なものになっています。そして今でも高価な戦車や戦闘機の供与について議論されています。報じられる記事を読んでも術がありません。早く終わって欲しいと願うだけです。
冬は太陽の位置が低いので部屋の奥まで陽が届きます。そんな中でクルミはまったりとしていました。クルミは何も心配することが無いといいのですが、いつも誰かが側にいてくれることが彼の一番の願いみたいです。

クルミは朝 9 時、夕方 4 時と夜の 8 時半に食事をしますが、夕方の食事の時間はクルミが昼寝をしていて忘れそうになってしまいます。そんな時は時計のアラーム機能が教えてくれます。今日も私がクルミを起こして食事をさせました。

クルミはセーターを着て過ごしていました。寒かったので、短い時間庭で遊ぶことにしました。

眼科に通院するために隣の駅まで電車で往復しました。帰り道、蝋梅の香りに誘われて写真を撮りました。気がつくと梅の花も咲き始めています。今日は少し暖かくなる予報でしたが、期待したほどの気温の上昇はありませんでした。明日からはまた寒い日が続くそうです。
今日はお客様があったのですが、クルミは眠っていて気づきませんでした。耳が聞こえなくなってから彼は番犬にはなれません。でも、今日も元気に遊んで、そして眠っていました。

2013 年、私が P 社に入社して以来これまで 10 年間一緒に仕事をしてきた F 氏が 3 月末で退社することを聞きました。F 氏とはシンガポールの会社の立ち上げで働いてきました。その会社は未だ成長の過程にあって、まだまだサポートが必要なのですが、残念なことです。後任の方も強いリーダーシップを発揮してくれることを願っています。
クルミは今日も元気にしていました。時々、私の膝に来て甘える姿に癒されています。

I heard that Mr. F, who I had been working with for 10 years since I joined Company P in 2013, would be leaving the company at the end of March. I have worked with Mr. F on the launch of a company in Singapore. The company is still in the process of growth and still needs support, which is unfortunate. 今日は隣の県にある森に薪の木材をもらいに行きました。切られてから 1 年が経過しているので少し古くなっていますが、薪にするにはちょうど良いと思います。これを薪割りするのは大変ですが、寒い日の作業にすると体が温まって最高です。慣れないトラックを運転して、木材を上げ下ろしして、今日は疲れました。
クルミは暖かい環境が良いようで、ストーブは欠かせない毎日です。今日も夕方から薪ストーブで暖かくしてあげました。

Kurumi seems to prefer a warm environment, and the stove is essential every day. I warmed up with the wood stove from the evening again today.
