太陽が昇る時刻が日に日に遅くなっていくのを感じます。今朝はまだ暗いうちからクルミと起きてしまいました。散歩の途中で太陽が東の空に昇ってきました。今日は天気が下り坂、陽の光が見えたのはこの時だけでした。午後からは冷たい雨が降る涼しい一日となりました。書斎で仕事をしていたのですが、窓を閉めていてちょうど良い室温でした。クルミは今日も元気に過ごしていました。仕事に追われた日だったので彼と遊ぶ時間は短くなってしまいました。

I feel that the sun rise time is getting later and later every day. I woke up with Kurumi while it was still dark this morning. The sun rose in the eastern sky during my walk. The weather was downhill today, and it was the only time I saw the sunshine. It was a cool day with cold rain in the afternoon. I was working in my room, but the windows were closed and the room temperature was just right. Kurumi was doing well today as well. It was a day when I was busy with work, so the time to play with him became shorter.

朝食の時間に J アラートが発せられました。北朝鮮から発射されたミサイルに注意を促す警告なのですが、恐ろしいことです。ミサイルは日本を大きく飛び越して太平洋に落下したようです。地球上の全ての国が争うことの無い日が来ることを願っています。今日は M さんのお宅まで秋の色を楽しみながら散歩がてら歩いてみました。M さんが使っている iPhone に最新 OS を入れた後の使い方をお教えしてきました。しかし、自分の iPhone とは異なる動きをすることが解決できず、宿題が残ってしまいました。クルミは元気に遊んで、よく食べて、よく寝ていました。今日は安定した日でよかったです。

Today, I took a walk to M-san’s house, enjoying the autumn colors. I have taught M-san how to use the iPhone after installing the latest OS. However, I couldn’t solve one problem of making it behave differently from my iPhone, so I had some homework to do. Kurumi played well, ate well, and slept well. I’m glad today he was a calm day.

今日も昼間は晴れて暑くなりました。天気予報では明日も同じような天気ですが、明後日からは気温が急降下するようです。夏から初冬の気温にまで下がるような予報が出ています。金木犀の香りは 2 軒隣の庭から香ってきていることがわかりました。秋空と良い香りで庭にいて気持ちが良い一日でした。クルミは今日も少し不安定です。ソファーの上で眠る時間が多くなりました。クルミはベッドに潜って眠るのが好きなので、これからは気温が下がるので彼にとっては良いかも知れません。

今年最後になるだろうと思いながら庭の芝を刈りました。花壇の雑草も取り去って綺麗になりました。庭仕事をしてると金木犀の香りが漂ってきました。日に日に秋が深まっていきます。妻と庭仕事をしている間、クルミはずっと眠っていたようです。私たちが家の中に入るとクルミは起きてきて甘えるように吠えました。私は今日、日本赤十字から感謝状を受け取りました。68 歳を過ぎて献血を続けている人に与えられるそうです。70 歳になる日まで続けようと思います。

I mowed the lawn in the garden thinking that it would be the last time this year. The weeds in the flower garden were also removed and it became beautiful. When I was working in the garden, the scent of Kinmokusei drifted. Autumn is getting deeper day by day. Kurumi seems to have slept the whole time while I was doing garden work with my wife. When we entered the house, Kurumi woke up and barked sweetly. I received a letter of appreciation from the Japanese Red Cross today. It is given to those who continue to donate blood after the age of 68th. I plan to continue until the day I will be 70th.

冷房と暖房を必要としない日は快適です。このような日は長続きしないのですが、それでも快適な日々を迎えることができる嬉しさがこの国にあります。息子夫婦が住むシンガポールでは冷房が常に必要です。昨日は富士山の山頂で初雪が観測されたそうです。まだ中学生だった息子と富士登山をした日も初冠雪でした。昔を思い出します。直ぐに寒くなって暖房が必要となります。今日も秋晴れの天気に恵まれました。クルミと庭で過ごすことができましたが、クルミは少し不安定で、午後は久しぶりに引きつけを起こしました。しばらくするとまた元気に遊んでいるのですが、心配は尽きません。

It’s comfortable on days when I don’t need cooling and heating. Days like this don’t last long, but there is joy in this country that we can still have comfortable days. Air conditioning is always necessary in Singapore where my son and his wife live. It seems that the first snow was observed at the top of Mt. Fuji yesterday. The day I climbed Mt. Fuji with my son, he was still in junior high school, was the first snowfall. It reminds me of the old days. It gets cold quickly and I need a heater. We were blessed with fine autumn weather today. I was able to spend some time in the garden with Kurumi, but he was a bit erratic and had an afternoon seizure for the first time in a long time. After a while, he is playing well again, but we can’t stop worrying.

スマホに最新のソフトウェアを入れてみました。スマホもパソコンと同じで定期的にアップデートが提供されます。今回のアップデートでは色々と便利な機能が使えるようになりました。その中でも写真の切り抜きができることは助かります。クルミの写真からクルミの姿だけを簡単に切り抜くことができます。

今日の昼休みの時間、職場の友人とお互いの愛車について話しました。私が電気自動車に乗り換えたことを友人は驚いていました。友人は今の車を後 5 年は乗り続けると言っていました。彼が車を乗り換える頃には電気自動車が今よりも多く走っていることでしょう。帰宅してクルミと短い時間でしたが遊びました。今日はクルミの容体は安定していたようです。気持ちの良い秋晴れは長く続かないようです。明日も穏やかに過ごせることを願います。

During my lunch break today, I talked with a friend at work about our favorite cars. My friend was surprised that I switched to an electric car. My friend said that he will continue to drive the current car for the next five years. By the time he changes cars, there will be more electric cars on the road than there are now. After returning home, I played with Kurumi for a short time. Kurumi appears to be in stable condition today. The pleasant autumn weather does not seem to last long. I hope he has a peaceful day tomorrow.

朝夕はとても涼しくなってきました。今日は少し遠くのレストランで夕食をいただきました。久しぶりに電車に乗ったのですが、以前のようにとても混雑していて、コロナウィルスの感染が拡大する以前に戻っています。それでも全員がマスクをつけています。クルミは昼間の暑さで少し辛そうです。そんな時間帯だけエアコンをつけてやります。

The mornings and evenings are getting cooler. Today we had dinner at a restaurant a little further away. I took the train for the first time in a long time, but it was very crowded like before, and I saw it went back to before the spread of the coronavirus infection. Everyone is still wearing masks however. Kurumi looks a little spicy in the heat of the day. I will turn on the air conditioner only during that time.

妻のスマートフォンにアクセサリーがつけられるように細工してみました。市販の極細のネジを購入してアクセサリーのフックを掛けられるようにしました。こうすればアクセサリーを交換することも可能です。早速、昨日届いたクルミを似せたとんぼ玉を飾りました。クルミは少し元気が無い一日でした。食欲はあるのですが、時々、下を向いてじっとしている時間があります。妻とクルミのことはいつも心配しています。これからも彼と一緒にのんびりと暮らせたらと思っています。

He has an appetite, but there are times when he looks down and sits still. Wife and I always worry about Kurumi. I hope that we can continue to live peacefully with him.

気持ちいい秋晴れに誘われて公園にでかけました。クルミも久しぶりの外出で喜んでいました。クルミが気に入っているカフェで一休みしました。クルミはおやつをもらえるので大喜びです。帰宅するとポストに頼んでおいたアクセサリーが届いていました。クルミの写真からガラス細工でクルミに似たアクセサリーを作ってもらえます。少し舌が出ていることをうまくとらえて作られています。ガラスを溶かして作るのですが、難しいことと思います。
