クルミはベッドに入って眠ることが好きです。暑い日でもベッドに入るのですが、しばらくすると暑くなったのか出てきてしまいます。少しでも涼しいベッドを探してみました。中のクッションを外せるのでカバーは洗濯できて便利そうです。今日も湿度が高い日でしたが、陽射しがなかったので気温はあまり高くなりませんでした。明日は陽射しが戻って暑い日になるようです。

Kurumi likes to sleep in bed. Even on a hot day, He goes to bed, but after a while he will come out because he got hot. I tried to find a cool bed. The inner cushion can be removed, so the cover can be washed and it seems convenient. It was another humid day, but there was no sunlight, so the temperature didn’t rise too high. It looks like tomorrow will be a hot day with the sunshine back.

今日も蒸し暑い一日でした。雨に降られても良いように大きい傘を持って移動したのですが、結局、傘を開く必要はありませんでした。夕食は友人がアレンジしてくれた旧友との再会の場となりました。以前、一緒に働いていた人が違う会社で成長している姿を見ることができて幸せでした。若い人が成長する姿を見ることができるのは嬉しいことです。
会話が長引いて、帰宅した時間は遅くなりました。クルミは既に熟睡です。

Today was another hot and humid day. I carried a large umbrella with me just in case it rained, but in the end I didn’t need to open it. Dinner was a reunion with an old friend arranged by a friend. I was happy to see people I worked with before grow up in different companies. It’s nice to see young people grow.
The conversation dragged on and I got home late. Kurumi is already sound asleep.

陽射しが強く、とても蒸し暑い一日でした。睡蓮鉢の水が温まってしまうので日陰を作ってやりました。まるで梅雨が開けてしまったのかと思わせる天気です。多くの人が熱中症で病院に運ばれたことをテレビの報道番組で報じています。
今日はクルミと過ごす時間を長く持てました。最近はあまりおもちゃで遊ばなくなったクルミは私と一緒にいるだけで安心しているようです。

It was a very hot and humid day with strong sunlight. The water in the water lily bowl gets warm, so I made a shade. It’s the weather that makes me think that the rainy season has ended. A TV news program reports that many people were taken to the hospital with heatstroke.
I had a lot of time to spend with Kurumi today. He doesn’t play with toys much these days, feels safe just being with me.

今朝は田んぼの畦道があったところに新しくできた道を歩いて工場まで行きました。幸いに雨は降っていなかったのですが、昨夜の雨の後、湿気が多い汗ばむ気候でした。田んぼの中からは虫の音がたくさん聞かれました。昼と夜の気温差が美味しい米を育てるそうです。今年も豊作になることを願います。
帰宅途中、夕食をとりました。これまで数日、コンビニエンスストアでのお弁当だったので、温かいご飯と味噌汁に感謝です。少し遅くに帰宅しました。クルミは目を開けて迎えてくれました。

This morning, I walked to the factory along a new road that was built where there used to be a footpath in the rice field. Luckily it wasn’t raining, but after last night’s rain the weather was humid and sweaty. I heard a lot of insect sounds in the rice field. The temperature difference between day and night is said to grow delicious rice. I hope they have a good harvest this year too.
I had dinner on my way home. For the past few days, I had dinner at a convenience store, so I am grateful for the warm rice and miso soup. I got home a little late. Kurumi welcomed me with open eyes.

今朝はホテルから工場まで歩いてみました。国道 4 号線は空いていて歩いていても安心です。1.7km の道のりでした。朝から少し蒸し暑く、工場についたら汗ばんでしまいました。今日も一日、会議室で座っていたので夕方も少し散歩をしてみました。

I walked from the hotel to the factory this morning. Route 4 is empty and safe to walk. It was a 1.7km trip. It was a little hot and humid from the morning, and I was drenched in sweat when I arrived at the factory. I was sitting in the conference room all day today, so I took a walk in the evening.

今日は工場で終日、仕事をしていました。昼休みには外に出て少し歩くことができました。梅雨の時期なのですが、日差しが強く、とても暑い日でした。工場の玄関にはパッションフルーツの苗が植えられています。1 ヶ月後にまた来るので、パッションフルーツが育っているのを見ることができるかも知れません。
クルミは健診の日でした。妻が獣医に連れていってくれました。

I worked all day at the factory today. During my lunch break, I was able to go outside and take a short walk. It was the rainy season, but the sun was strong and it was a very hot day. Passion fruit seedlings are planted at the entrance of the factory. I’ll be back in a month, so maybe I’ll be able to see the passion fruit growing.
Kurumi was checkup day. My wife took him to the vet.

今日の午後から、私は明日からの仕事のために東北にある街に移動しました。正社員の時から何度となく来ています。水田が広がる光景はいつ見ても良いものです。夕方の新幹線は満席でした。
明日からしばらくクルミとはお別れです。

This afternoon, I moved to a city in the Tohoku region for work starting tomorrow. I have been coming here many times since I was a full-time employee. The view of the rice fields is always nice to see. The Shinkansen in the evening was full.
I will say goodbye to Kurumi for a while from tomorrow.

今日は近所の M さんのお宅にお邪魔してパソコンでゲームを楽しむ時の注意を話しました。最近はオンラインでゲームを楽しむことができますが、知らないうちにリンクをクリックしてしまい、思わない問題が発生することがあります。M さんがどのように操作しているか知ることができて安心しました。
クルミは今日も元気に遊んでいました。湿度が高かったので庭にでることはやめました。

Today, I visited Ms. M’s house in the neighborhood and talked about things to be aware of when enjoying games on a computer. We can play games online these days, but sometimes we click on a link without knowing it and cause unforeseen problems. I was relieved to know how Ms. M operates. She seems does not do such case.
Kurumi was playing well today as well. The humidity was high, so I stopped going out to the garden with him.

久しぶりに兄と食事を一緒にしました。いつも来る蕎麦屋さんは今日も美味しい料理を提供してくれました。今夜は兄とゆっくり話すことができ、美味しい料理を一緒に食べて幸せなひと時でした。お互いに高齢の域に入った人間です。これからは健康で幸せに暮らせることを願っています。
帰宅するとクルミは眠っていました。明日はクルミと遊ぶ時間が持てるようにしましょう。

I had dinner with my brother for the first time in a long time. The soba restaurant that we always come to provided delicious food today as well. Tonight, I was able to talk slowly with my brother, and it was a happy time to eat delicious food together. We are both in the old age range. I wish we good health and happiness from now on.
Kurumi was asleep when I got home. Make sure I have time to play with him tomorrow.

今日もクルミは元気に遊んでいました。食事をした後、おもちゃ箱の前で一緒に遊ぶように訴えていました。私は会社で仕事をしていたので、クルミとは短い時間しかクルミと遊べませんでした。

Kurumi was playing well today as well. After eating, he asked me to play with him in front of the toy box. Since I was working at a company, I could only play with Kurumi for a short time.
