いつものことですが、旅の最終日はのんびりと宿を出て家路につきます。途中で気づいた店に行って買い物を楽しみます。妻の妹が来るといつも天気が良いと話していました。来月は妹も忙しいようなので、今度の旅行は年明けになります。旅行の計画を話していると楽しくなります。こうしてまた、旅ができることを嬉しく思います。クルミは帰りがけに寄ったドックランで他の犬に追いかけられていました。

As always, on the last day of the trip, we leave the inn leisurely and go home. Go to the store we noticed on the way and enjoy shopping. Whenever my wife’s sister came, she said the weather was fine. My sister will be busy next month, so the next trip will be the beginning of the next year. It’s fun to talk about travel plans. I am happy to be able to travel again in this way. Kurumi was being chased by other dog at the dog park in the service area on the Chu-Ou highway.

今日は 3 年前の夏にも訪れた北八ヶ岳ロープウェイに乗って登山気分を味わいました。標高 2,237m の山頂駅は冷凍庫の中のように凍っていました。坪庭と呼ばれる散策ルートを 30 分歩きましたが、寒さと強風で私たちはすっかり冷え切ってしまいました。昼は美味しい信州蕎麦を堪能し、今日は早めに宿に戻り温泉で温まっています。クルミは午後の行動を共にしました。陽が入る車の中では眠そうにしていました。

Today, we enjoyed climbing with the Northern Yatsugatake Ropeway, which we visited three years ago in the summer. The mountaintop station at an altitude of 2,237m was frozen like in a freezer. We walked for 30 minutes on a walking route called Tsuboiwa, but the cold and strong winds made us completely cold. We enjoyed delicious Shinshu soba in the daytime, and today we return to the inn early and warm up in the hot springs. Kurumi acted together in the afternoon. He was sleepy in the car where the sun came in.

クルミは早くに起きてきました。夜明け前でしたが私も一緒に起きてしばらくリビングでのんびりしました。今日は快晴の良い天気になりました。妻の妹と一緒に蓼科にドライブです。昼は清里高原に立ち寄りましたが、行こうと思ったレストランは待っている人が多く、あきらめました。クルミのお気に入りの店も臨時休業で、ちょっと残念でした。でも陽が降り注ぐ外のカフェでランチを楽しむことができました。

Kurumi got up early. It was before dawn, but I woke up together and relaxed in the living room for a while. It was a fine day today. Drive to Tateshina with my wife’s sister. I stopped by Kiyosato Kogen in the daytime, but many people were waiting for the restaurant so we gave up this restaurant. Kurumi’s favorite store was also temporarily closed, which was a bit disappointing. But we were able to enjoy lunch at a cafe outside where the sun was shining.

今日は朝から雨、昨夜のうちから降り出した雨が午後の早いうちまで降り続けました。時折、激しく降った雨ですが夕方にはすっかり止んで、夜空には月が見えるまで晴れてきました。太陽の暖かさが無いと肌寒く、今日はストーブで暖を取りました。夕方、海外に住む息子から連絡があり、航空便で送った荷物が無事に届いたようで安心しました。最近は郵便局から EMS 便を使って送っています。少し料金は高いのですが、追跡ができることと、保険がかけられるので安心しています。クルミは外に出られない日だったので、少し残念でした。

It was chilly without the warmth of the sun, so I warmed up with a stove today. In the evening, my son, who lives overseas, contacted me, and I was relieved that the package I sent by airmail arrived safely. Recently, I am sending from the post office using EMS system. It’s a little expensive, but I’m relieved that it can be tracked and insured. It was a little disappointing because it was a day when Kurumi couldn’t go out.

私は終日、文献の翻訳をしていました。パソコンの画面を見続けていたので目が疲れてしまいました。午後、そんな目を休めようと少し歩きました。西から天気が悪くなってきます。明日は雨になるでしょう。クルミとの時間は夕食後にします。クルミも遊び相手がいないと寂しそうです。

I was translating the literature all day. My eyes got tired because I kept looking at the computer screen. In the afternoon, I walked a little to rest my eyes. The weather is getting worse from the west. It will be rainy tomorrow. I will spend time with Kurumi after dinner. He also looks lonely without a playmate today.

雨は明け方に止みました。午後からは陽の暖かさが感じられる日曜日でした。今日は先日行った車のディーラーで、新車に試乗させてもらいました。試乗したのはガソリンエンジン車です。同じ型の電気自動車が来年の春に発売されます。私はそれに目をつけています。最近の半導体不足の影響もあって、自動車の生産が低迷していると聞きました。来年の春が待ち遠しいです。クルミはオレンジ色のゴルフボールに興味を示して、しばらく遊んでいました。先日のテレビ番組でゴルフボールを使ったトレーニングを始めてみました。足の裏のツボを刺激するととても気持ちが良いです。

The rain stopped at dawn this morning. From the afternoon, I could feel the warmth of the sun. Today, at the car dealership I went to the other day, I had a chance try driving on a new car. The car I drove was a gasoline engine type. The same style of electric vehicle will be available next spring. I’m keeping an eye on it. I heard that automobile production is sluggish, partly due to the recent shortage of semiconductors. I can’t wait for next spring. Kurumi was interested in the orange golf ball and was playing for a while. I started training with a golf ball that a TV program introduced on the other day. It feels great to stimulate the acupoints on the soles of my feet.

気持ちの良い秋晴れの日が続いています。今日も暖かく、暖房がいらない日で助かりました。クルミは今日も元気に遊んで、遊び疲れて、眠っていました。食品の買い物に出掛けて驚いたのですが、もうお正月の飾り物が売られていました。暖かい日が続いているので気づいていませんでしたが暦の上では冬になっていました。

Pleasant autumn sunny days continue. It was warm today also so we didn’t need heating it was helpful. Kurumi was well today, playing with toys and sleeping. I was surprised when I went shopping for food, but New Year’s decorations were already on sale. I didn’t notice it because the warm days continued, but it was winter on the calendar.

今日も暖かい秋晴れの一日でした。ここ数日は暖かい日が続いていてとても助かります。妻は妹と買い物に出かけたので、私はクルミと家で時間を過ごしました。暖かい陽射しに包まれたリビングにいると、いつの間にかクルミと一緒に居眠りをしていました。

It was a warm autumn day today as well. It has been a warm day for the past few days and it is very helpful. My wife went shopping with her sister, so I spent time at home with Kurumi. When we were in the living room surrounded by warm sunlight, I fell asleep with Kurumi.

今日も暖かい秋晴れの日となりました。以前から気になっていたカフェにクルミと一緒に行ってきました。若いオーナーが気持ちの良い対応をしてくれて気に入りました。クルミも店内でおとなしくしていました。公園の近くなので、食事の後、クルミを連れて公園を散策しました。

It was a warm autumn day today as well. I went to a cafe that I had been interested in for a long time with Kurumi. I like the young owner who gave me a pleasant response. Kurumi was also quiet in the store. Since it is near the park, we took a walk around the park with him after eating.

今日、日本は祝日でした。天気が良く、暖かな日でした。妻と私はテニススクールのイベントで午前中は屋外のテニス場でゲームを楽しんできました。天気の良い日に屋外でプレーすると太陽が眩しく、難しいシーンもありましたが、数時間、楽しむことができました。クルミは少し長い時間、家で一人だったので、寂しい思いをさせてしまいました。

Today was a holiday in Japan. The weather was nice and it was a warm day. My wife and I enjoyed playing games at an outdoor tennis court in the morning at a tennis school event. When I played outdoors on a sunny day, the sun was dazzling and there were some difficult scenes, but we enjoyed it for several hours. Kurumi was alone at home for a little longer, which made him feel lonely.
