妻と庭の金柑の実を収穫しました。小さい実は鳥のために残しておいてやることにしました。今年は多くの実を付けてくれた金柑の木に感謝です。クルミくんは今日も元気に遊んでいました。そして眠くなると寝ぐずっていました。私が近くにいると昼寝をしたい気持ちと遊びたい気持ちで葛藤しているようでした。夜は妻と外食にでかけました。このレストランには薪窯があります。美味しいピザをいただくことができます。

My wife and I harvested kumquat fruit from our garden. We decided to leave the small berries for the birds. I am grateful to the kumquat tree for producing so many kumquat fruits this year. Kurumi was playing energetically today. And when he got sleepy, he was tucked in his bed. He seemed to be torn between wanting to take a nap and wanting to play when I was around. In the evening, my wife and I went out for dinner. This restaurant has a wood-fired oven. We can enjoy a delicious pizza.

Bluethooth でスマホと車が接続されているので、電話がかかってきても手放しで話せて便利です。今日、急にこの機能が使えなくなってしまいました。車の Bluetooth 機能が有効にできません。会社の帰りにディーラーに寄って相談しました。サービスの F さんはオーディオシステムのリセット方法を教えてくれました。スイッチを 20 秒、押したままにするとリセットされて治りました。このような手段は聞かないと分かりません。クルミくんは今日も元気に遊んでいました。

Since my phone is connected to my car via Bluethooth, I can conveniently let go of the phone when a call comes in. Today, this feature suddenly stopped working. I cannot activate the Bluetooth function in my car. On my way home from work, I stopped by the dealership to ask for help. Mr. F from service showed me how to reset the audio system. I pushed the switch down for 20 seconds and it reset and cured the problem. I can’t understand this kind of means unless I ask to someone. Kurumi was playing well today.

赤十字血液センターから急な依頼が入り、今朝は献血に行きました。178 回目の献血も無事に終えることができました。今年の誕生日で応じることができなくなります。それまでは要請に応じて協力したいと思います。妻は庭の金柑を収穫しました。木にはまだ残っていますが、高いところなので、明日、一緒に収穫します。クルミくんは今日も元気に過ごしています。食欲が旺盛なクルミくんは私たちが食事をしていると近くに来て物欲しそうにしています。

Due to an urgent request from the Red Cross Blood Center, I went to donate blood this morning, successfully completing my 178th blood donation. I will no longer be able to comply with the request on my birthday this year. Until then, I would like to cooperate as requested. My wife harvested kumquat from the garden. There are still some left on the tree, but it is high up, so we will pick them together tomorrow. Kurumi is doing well today. He has a big appetite and when we are eating, he comes close to us and looks like he wants something.

クルミくんと一緒に買い物にでかけました。クルミくんの右足は良くなってきて、しっかりと立つこともできるようになってきました。まだ、関節の曲げ伸ばしは少しぎこちないのですが、痛みは無いので安心です。夕方、近所の薪ストーブ仲間と林の伐採場所に行ってみました。木の成長に伴って小山が崩れそうなので危険です。ボランティアの人たちが伐採をしています。薪ストーブ用に分けていただくことを相談してきました。

We went shopping with Kurumi. Kurumi’s right leg is getting better and he is able to stand firmly. His joints are still a little awkward to bend and stretch, but there is no pain, which is a relief. In the evening, I went to the forest clearing area with my neighbor’s wood stove friends. It is dangerous because the small hill is about to collapse as the trees grow. Volunteers are felling the trees. We discussed the possibility of sharing the wood for our wood stove.

冷蔵庫の買い替えを検討しています。家電量販店で各社の冷蔵庫を見比べていました。10 年前よりも電気代が半額になる、という看板があって、調べてみました。我が家で使っている冷蔵庫は 179w の消費電力、最近のものは 84w となっていて、確かに半分の電力で冷やすことができるようです。実際にはモーターの消費電力もあるのですが、確かに省エネルギーの設計になっているようです。技術の進歩に驚かされます。気がつけば今の冷蔵庫は 13年使っています。この先、あと 10年使うことを考えたら買い替えの時期かも知れません。今日はクルミくんとたくさん遊ぶ時間を持つことができました。

I am considering buying a new refrigerator. I was comparing refrigerators from different companies at an electronics store, and I saw a sign that said the electricity bill would be half of what it was 10 years ago, so I checked it out. The refrigerator we use at home consumes 179w, and the latest one consumes 84w, so it certainly seems to be able to cool the unit with half the power. In reality, there is also the power consumption of the motor, but it certainly seems to be designed to save energy. I am amazed at the progress of technology. I noticed that my current refrigerator has been in use for 13 years. Considering that I will be using it for another 10 years, it may be time to replace it. Today I was able to spend a lot of time playing with Kurumi.

電車で通勤する日はいつもこの並木道を歩きます。先月は落ち葉で敷き詰められた道も、今日は綺麗になっていました。私は四季を感じるこの道が大好きです。夕方からは誕生日を迎えた兄と一緒に夕食会を持ちました。兄は 6 度目の年男、これからもお互いの健康を願って別れました。クルミくんは今日も元気にしていたそうです。

I always walk along this tree-lined path on days when I take the train to work. Last month the path was paved with fallen leaves, but today it is clean up. I love this path that reminds me of the four seasons. In the evening, I had a dinner party with my brother I celebrated his birthday. He is celebrating his 72nd birthday, and we parted wishing each other good health for the future. Kurumi was doing well today.

薪ストーブを使わなかった次の日は朝からリビングルームは冷え切っています。夜明け前の寒い時刻は特に寒さを感じてしまいます。今日は夕方から薪ストーブを使って家を温めようと思います。自宅で仕事をしていました。今日も陽射しがたっぷりで日中は暖かく、助かります。雪の多い地方では今年も記録的な大雪で交通網が混乱しているようです。夏の暑さ、冬の大雪、毎年のように「記録的」という言葉が使われています。年々、気象が異常になっていることを痛感します。

The next day after not using the wood stove, the living room is cold in the morning. The cold pre-dawn hours are especially chilly. Today I will use the wood stove in the evening to warm up the house. I was working at home. Plenty of sunshine today, warm and helpful during the day. In regions where there is a lot of snow, the record-breaking snowfall this year is disrupting the transportation system. The word “record-breaking” is used every year, whether it is the heat in summer or the heavy snowfall in winter. We are keenly aware that the weather is becoming more and more unusual every year.

クルミくんはトリミングをしてもらう日でした。今日も妻が介助していたのでクルミくんは安心していたようです。クルミくんの写真を撮りながら自分の髪の毛が伸びていることに気づきました。私もそろそろ髪を切ってもらいましょう。

It was a day for Kurumi to get a trim. My wife was assisting him again today, so Kurumi seemed to be at ease. While taking Kurumi’s picture, I noticed that my own hair had grown long. It’s time for me to get my hair cut too.

今日は陽射しが強く、太陽光発電も 3kw 程度の出力が得られました。この時間に給湯器の湯沸かしを行ってみました。今まで深夜電力を使っていたのですが、この方が節電になります。日中は気温が高いのでヒートポンプの効率も高いです。どうして給湯器メーカーはこの設定を許さないのか理解できません。私は給湯器の時計を 12 時間遅らせてこれを可能にしてみました。クルミくんは今日も元気です。夕方はお客様があったので一緒に遊ぶことができました。M さんから預かったプリンターを分解して修理してみました。カバーを外す時、一箇所だけですが、フックを破損させてしまいました。不具合の原因はマイクロスイッチの接点でした。錆びていてカバーが閉まったことを検出できなかったことです。スイッチ内部まで分解して接点を掃除、復活剤を塗布してみました。またこれでしばらくは正常に動作すると思います。CANON MG 7130 の部品不良でした。

The sun was shining strongly today, and the solar power generation output was about 3kw. I tried to boil water for the unit at this time. I used to use late night power, but this saves electricity more. The temperature is higher during the day, so the heat pump is more efficient. I do not understand why water heater manufacturers do not allow this setting. I have tried to make this possible by delaying the clock on the unit by 12 hours. Kurumi is doing well today. In the evening we had a visitor so they were able to play with Kurumi. I continued to repair the printer. When I removed the cover, I damaged the hook in one place. The cause of the malfunction was the contact point of the microswitch. It was rusted and could not detect that the cover was closed. I disassembled the switch down to the inside, cleaned the contacts, and applied a revival agent. I think it will work normally again for a while. it was a defective part of the CANON MG 7130.

クルミくんは昨日、おやつでベッドを汚してしまいました。したがって、クッションだけの状態で少し寂しそうです。今日は天気が良くなかったので洗濯したベッドは乾きません。明日まで我慢しなければなりません。私は自宅で仕事をしていました。休憩時間に M さんから預かったプリンターの修理を手掛けたのですが、一年前の不具合が再発してしまい、分解するところから再度挑戦しています。

Kurumi made his bed dirty with treats yesterday. Therefore, he looks a little lonely with only a cushion. The weather was not good today, so the washed bed will not dry. He has to hold out until tomorrow. I was working at home. During my break time, I worked on repairing the printer that Ms. M entrusted to me, but the problem from a year ago came back, so I am trying again from the point of disassembling it.
