今日はプロの庭師に庭の木々を手入れしてもらいました。2 週間前に来る予定だったのですが、天気と私たちの都合で今日まで遅れたのですが、木々にとってはちょうど良いタイミングになったようです。とてもさっぱりしました。
クルミは義妹が来たので多くの時間、遊んでもらうことができたようです。妻の誕生日を祝うために義妹が来てくれました。先週の旅行の話をしていました。思い出はいつも楽しいものです。クルミも一緒だったのですが、彼は覚えているでしょうか？

I had a professional gardener take care of the trees in our garden today. It was supposed to come two weeks ago, but the weather and our circumstances delayed it until today, but it seems like the right time for the trees. It was very refreshing.
Kurumi was able to spend a lot of time playing with sister-in-law. My sister-in-law came to celebrate my wife’s birthday today. We were talking about our trip last week. Memories are always fun. Kurumi was there too, does he remember it?

本屋で本を買って会計をしていたらポイントカードを持っているか聞かれました。最近はポイントカードがスマホに入るものしか持たないことを伝えると、レジの女性は少し残念そうにしていました。何でもスマホの時代になりましたが、個人情報と紐づかないようなポイントカードも良いのかもしれません。
家の近くには救急ヘリが利用できる大きな病院があります。今日もドクターヘリが来ていました。患者さんのことが気になる一瞬です。
クルミは今日も元気に遊んでいました。最近、クルミの体調は良く、安心しています。

When I bought a book at a bookstore and was checking out, I was asked if I had a point card. The lady at the cash register looked a little disappointed when I told her that recently I only have point cards that fit in my smartphone. We have entered the era of smartphones, but point cards that are not tied to personal information may also be good.
There is a big hospital near my house where ambulance helicopters are available. Doctor copter came today as well. It’s time to worry about the patient.
Kurumi was playing well today as well. Recently, Kurumi has been feeling better and relieved.

新しい週が始まりました。月曜はいつも少し憂鬱になります。どうしてなのか分かりませんが、会社勤めをしていた時からのことになります。本来なら、新しい週が始まって、新しいことが待っているので楽しくならなければいけないのかも知れません。しかし、これから始まることがある程度予想されてしまうと、私には憂鬱なことになってしまうのかも知れません。
クルミは月に一度のトリミングの日でした。暑い夏に向けて短く刈られた毛でさっぱりしています。疲れ果てたのか午後は熟睡しています。

A new week has begun. Mondays are always a little depressing. I don’t know why, but it started when I was working for a company. Ordinarily, a new week has begun, and new things are waiting for us, so maybe we should be having fun. However, it may become depressing for me if it is expected to some extent that it will start from now on.
Kurumi had a trimming day once a month. The hair is cut short for the hot summer and is refreshing. Exhausted, he slept soundly in the afternoon.

息子からカメラストラップをプレゼントしてもらいました。革でできていて、とても綺麗です。私のカメラは 15 年前に買ったものなのでストラップに負けてしまいそうです。カメラはデジタルになってから技術進歩が激しく、すぐに古くなってしまいます。これを機会に買い替えを考えようか迷います。
今日もクルミは元気に遊んでいました。

My son gave me a camera strap. It is made of leather and is very beautiful. I bought my camera 15 years ago and it’s about to lose to the strap. Cameras have advanced rapidly since they became digital, and they become obsolete quickly. I wonder if I should take this opportunity to consider buying a new one.
Kurumi was playing well today as well.

今日は朝から快晴の天気でした。昨日までのドライブで汚れた車を洗いました。雨の中を走り回ったのでとても汚れていました。午後は芝を刈り、庭をさっぱりさせました。暑い日でしたが、風が吹いていたので助かりました。体力を使い果たしたので夕飯はうなぎを食べました。
クルミは昨日までの旅の疲れも見せず、朝から元気に遊んでいました。

It was fine weather from the morning today. I washed the dirty car from the drive up to yesterday. It was very dirty from running around in the rain. In the afternoon, I mowed the lawn and freshened up the garden. It was a hot day, but the wind was blowing, which helped. I ate eel for dinner because I was exhausted.
Kurumi didn’t show any signs of fatigue from the trip until yesterday, and had been playing energetically since the morning.

今日は朝から良い天気になりましたが、雲が多く、富士山を見ることはできませんでした。湖畔の店で土産物を買って帰路につきました。日差しは強かったのですが、湖を渡って吹く風が気持ち良い朝でした。
クルミは家に帰って安心したのかおもちゃで遊んでいました。行きつけのレストランにお土産を持って行き、夕食をいただきました。オーナーがデザートにケーキを用意していてくれたのには驚きです。

The weather turned fine in the morning, but it was cloudy and we could not see Mt.Fuji. We bought some souvenirs at the lakeside shops and headed back home. The sun was strong, but the wind blowing across the lake was a pleasant morning.
Kurumi was playing with a toy as if he was relieved when he got home. We brought souvenirs to our favorite restaurant and had dinner. Surprise that the owner prepared a cake for our birthdays in June.

肌寒く、小雨が降る一日でした。しかし、楽しみにしていたさくらんぼ狩りを楽しむことができました。桜の木は大きなビニールハウスの中に入っているので雨に濡れることはありません。妻は大好きなさくらんぼをたくさん食べることができて幸せそうにしていました。ラベンダーはまだ蕾の状態で、うっすらと青くなっています。天気は良くありませんでしたが、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
今日、クルミはたくさん歩くことができて疲れてしまったようです。午後はカートの中で熟睡していました。

It was a chilly and drizzly day. However, We were able to enjoy the cherry picking that we were looking forward to. The cherry trees are inside big vinyl houses, so it won’t get wet in the rain. My wife was happy to be able to eat a lot of her favorite cherries. The lavender is still in bud, and it’s getting a little blue. The weather wasn’t great, but we had a great time.
Today, Kurumi was able to walk a lot and seems tired. He slept soundly in the cart in the afternoon.

義理の妹と久しぶりの旅行です。時折、強い雨が降る日でしたが、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。クルミは移動で疲れたのか部屋のソファーで眠ってしまいました。妻は久しぶりに妹との会話を楽しんでいます。

It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a trip with my sister-in-law. It was a rainy day, but we had a great time. Kurumi fell asleep on the sofa in the room because he was tired from moving. My wife enjoys talking with her sister for the first time in a long time.

今日はテニススクールの友達と 2 時間、コートで試合をしました。今週はスクールがお休みなのです。コートが開放されていて、時間でレンタルすることができました。いつもはクラスで走り回るのですが、今日はのんびりとダブルスの試合を楽しみました。天気は不安定な一日でした。夕方には日本全国で雷注意報が出ていました。
クルミは涼しい服を着せてもらってご機嫌です。今日もよく眠っています。最近は眠っている時間が長くなりました。

Today, Wife and I had a two-hour match on the court with our friends from the tennis school. School is closed this week. Courts were open and could be rented by the hour. We usually run around in class, but today we enjoyed the doubles match leisurely. It was a day of unsettled weather. In the evening, a thunder warning was issued all over Japan.
Kurumi is happy to be dressed in cool clothes. He is sleeping well today. Lately, He’s been sleeping longer.

今日は一日中小雨が降る少し涼しい一日でした。気温は低いのですが湿度が高く、すっきりしない天気でした。
クルミは私の膝の上でのんびりしています。身体を撫でてやると気持ち良いのか寝息を立てて眠ってしまいました。

Today was a cool day with drizzle all day long. The temperature was low, but the humidity was high, and the weather was not refreshing.
Kurumi is lounging on my lap. He took a deep breath and fell asleep because it felt good when I stroked his body.
