今日は可愛いお客様が来てくれました。彼女はクルミくんのおもちゃで遊んでいましたがクルミくんは怒りもせずに遊ばせてあげていました。今日も小雨が降る肌寒い日でした。私は早い時間から薪ストーブを使って部屋を温めていました。今日も家族みんなで穏やかに過ごせたことに感謝しています。
We had a lovely visitor today. She was playing with Kurumi’s toys and Kurumi let her play with them without getting angry. It was another chilly day with light rain. I warmed up the room with the wood stove from early in the morning. I am thankful that we were able to spend another peaceful day together as a family.
シンガポールから来る息子夫婦を迎えに成田空港まで行ってきました。少し早く移動できたので近くの充電スポットで自動車の充電をして時間調整をしていました。早咲きの桜が雨に濡れていました。いつもは出迎えに来た人で賑わっている場所なのですが、今日は誰もいませんでした。オフシーズンの平日だったからでしょう。今日は朝から小雨が降る肌寒い１日です。南国から来た二人のために家を薪ストーブで温めました。クルミくんはお客さんが来て嬉しそうにしています。
I went to Narita Airport to pick up my son and his wife coming from Singapore. I was able to move a little early, so I went to a nearby charging spot to recharge my car and adjust my time. The early blooming cherry blossoms were wet from the rain. The place is usually crowded with people coming to pick people up, but there was no one there today. 闘病生活をされていた S さんが昨日他界されました。62 歳の若さで旅立たれた S さんに会ってきました。安らかに眠っている顔を拝ませていただきました。フランス料理のシェフをされていて、私たちもこれまで何度もお店に行かせていただきました。今日はまだ 2 月なのに 20 ℃を超える夏日となりました。観測史上初めての出来事だそうです。クルミくんは今日も甘えています。
Mr. S passed away yesterday at the age of 62 years old. I was able to see his face as he slept peacefully. He was a chef of French cuisine, and we have visited his restaurant many times. 今日はクルミくんはトリミングしてもらう日でした。終わるとバンダナを付けてもらえます。さっぱりしてご機嫌のクルミくんです。トリミングをしてもらった日は疲れてしまうのか長い時間昼寝をしていました。今日は南風が強く、雨が窓を濡らしています。毎週月曜日は夕食の時間にクイズ番組をテレビで見ています。以前に同じ問題が出たのですが、もう忘れています。

今日も夕方になると気温が下がってきたので薪ストーブを使っています。一気に温度を上げる手順になれてきました。焚き始めの煙は少し出てしまいますが、一度高温になれば後は安心です。そして部屋もすぐに温まります。クルミくんの処方食を買いに出かけました。近くの花屋さんには春の花がたくさん並んでいます。妻はスウィートピーを買っていました。

お昼を食べに妻と外に出てきました。初夏のような気温で、風が強い日でした。街の中華店でお昼を食べた後、少し街を歩いてみました。クルミくんは私たちが帰宅すると怒ったように吠えていました。最近はクルミくんと一緒にいる時間が長いのでひとりぼっちになると寂しくて仕方ないのかもしれません。
My wife and I went out for lunch. It was an early summer-like temperature and very windy. After having lunch at a Chinese restaurant in town, we walked around town a little. Kurumi barked angrily when we came home. Maybe he is lonely when he is alone because we spend a lot of time with Kurumi these days.
クルミくんはりんごが大好きです。私たちの夕食時にりんごを食べます。急いで食べるのでたまにりんごを落としてしまいます。シャキシャキと噛んで食べるクルミくんです。今日は暖かかったのでストーブは必要ありません。明日は今日よりも温かくなるようです。
Kurumi loves apples. He eats apples at our dinner time. He eats so quickly that he sometimes drops the apple. He eats it crunchy and chewy. It was warm today, so we don’t need the stove. Tomorrow will be warmer than today.
昼間はとても暖かい日でした。今日から明日にかけてもっと気温が上がるようです。まだ 2 月ですからこれからも寒い日が訪れると思いますが、気温が少しでも高いと助かります。この時期、畑には野菜が育てられていなくて寂しい光景です。風もなく陽当たりは暑いくらいの日でした。クルミくんは今日も日向で昼寝をしていました。
