2016年1月、新車購入時に取り付けたものはその後2年後に不調となりました。ディーラーに相談したところ、メーカーで保証するとのことで交換、その数ヶ月後にまた違う症状で不調に。再度、新品と交換したのですが、これも直後から機能を満足せず。結局3台ともダメだったことになります。ディーラーの営業さんの理解で最近取り扱っているものへの交換をしていただくことになりました。さて、今度はどうでしょうか。

I put the camera when I purchased the new car in 2016 January.  However the camera has been failing 3 times even changing to the new one.  So finally the sales person proposed changing to the different type that the car dealer has been selling now.  Let see how this type works well.  I know the working environment for the camera is very tough in the temperature range but hoping the company can make the reliable one in Japan.

毎年、学生時代からの友人と湯河原に一泊旅行をしています。今年も4人で来ることができました。入学から数えると今年で48年になる私たちです。還暦が過ぎ、年金受給者になった私も含め、これからは高齢の域になりますが、この恒例の旅行も続けられることを願います。

As an annual event we could make our reunion this time again.  It is so nice having this trip since 48 years we have met at the school.  We have already passed the 60th and going to be receiving the pension benefits soon.  I really hope we could continue to be in friend with aged situation.

昨年はプリンくんの具合が悪く出かけることが少なく、毎年お邪魔している成寿園には 2 年ぶりで来ました。6 月の低温と 8 月の酷暑のため少し小ぶりでしかも色が濃くならなかったとか、農家の方々の苦労を垣間見ました。

We have been visiting this farm every year except last year due to the bad condition Purin faced.  The owner said that the grape was not good this year due to the lower temperature in June and higher temperature in August.  I felt toughness faims are facing these years.

数年前に入れ替えて使っていなかった Mac mini を売却することにしました。この機体は 5 年前に HDD が不調となって修理したものです。HDD を入れ替えてからもそれなりに動いてくれました。新型に入れ替えてからは物置の片隅で眠っていました。初期化して、近くのリサイクル店で買い取ってもらいました。

This mac mini has been sleeping since a few years ago I have replaced to the new one.  This weekend I deleted the inside data and brought to the recycle store someone to use.  This one I have repaired the HDD 5 years ago and ran well until we replaced to the new one.  Hope this will be used by someone or recycled to new hardware.

コーヒーが好きです。豆の焙煎こそやりませんが、毎回ミルで挽いて香りと味を楽しんでいます。豆には特別のこだわりはありません、買い求めやすいカルディーのコーヒーを愛用しています。エスプレッソタイプのものと、さっぱり系を自分で混ぜています。写真のミルですが、昨日壊れてしまいました。少し硬い豆をたくさん挽いた時に内部の構造に無理な力が加わったようです。分解してみて納得、樹脂製の軸受が割れていました。割れた部分を応急処置、今しばらくは使えそうですが、頃合いを見て買い換えましょう。

I like coffee. I do not do the roasting of beans, but I am grinding with a mill every time and enjoying the scent and taste. There is no special attention to beans, I love Kaldi’s coffee which is easy to buy. Espresso type one and regular one are mixed by myself. It is a mill of pictures, but it broke down yesterday. 伊豆へ旅行する機会が多いのですが、のんびりとこの海岸を訪れることがありませんでした。今日はピクニカルコースなるものを試してみました。片道 1km 程度なのですが、海岸沿いに歩くコースはアップダウンが多く結構大変でした。尾根伝いを歩くコースもあり、私たちは帰りは楽な尾根伝いコースで帰ってきました。曇天の日でしたが、歩くにはちょうど良く、宿での温泉がとてもありがたく感じました。

We have been visiting this Izu area but did not spend time at here Jogasaki area.  We could take the walk this afternoon around an hour round trip to see the good view at the seaside.  It was clouded today but just good for a walk and appreciated the hot spring at the inn stay today.

私は自宅のパソコンはアップル Mac を使っています。ポータブルは 2012 版の MacBook Air、固定では 2014 版の Mac Mini と使い分けてきています。最近、Mini の動作が重たくなり、OS の入れ直しを行い、Timemachine からの復元を行いました。丸一日の作業になってしまいました。結果は、というと少しは改善されましたが、アプリケーションの立ち上がりが少しもたついています。Air は比較的サクサクと動いてくれています。業務で貸与された Windows PC (DELL) も 2013 版でして、パソコン類は 5 年も経過してくると動作が気になり始めます。ソフトの進化とハードの対応、どこまでこれが続くのでしょうか？

This time I have reinstalled the OS operating system with my desktop macintosh since it has been working last 4 years plus.  The device got slow response my operation.  It tooks a day and seems getting better than before.  I have older one for my mobility.  The hardware getting slower and older after 5 years but hope I can keep them as long as possible.

今週シンガポールで会った息子、私たちの帰国を追いかけるようにして訪日、１週間のうちにシンガポールと日本で会えることになりました。お互い、仕事での訪国ですから自宅ではなく、夕食を外で、ということになり、昨夜は吉祥寺で再会です。ちょうど街は秋祭りの最中で大勢の人で賑わっていました。コーヒーを飲みながら息子とチャット、ブロードバンド環境についてお互いの国の比較をしたり、愛車の話をしたり、いつになっても意気投合して話せることに喜びを感じます。

Son followed our return to Japan this week so we met with him both in Singapore and Japan in this week.  Both were in the business so decided to have a diner at outside instead at home that needs time.  We met at Kichijoji last night the town was busy while they had an autumn festival.  It is always nice talking for various things with him.  I wish his success in business on this trip.

出張でこの国に何度来たことか、1987 年に初めて家族で来て以来、仕事で訪れることが多くなりました。30 年の間、変わり続ける国を見てきました。仕事で訪れるようになってから利用しているホテルも老朽化が進み、昨年からリノベーションが始まっています。今回、新装された部屋を使う機会を得ることができ、快適に過ごしています。旅先では宿泊の環境が体調に大きく影響します。隣室の音、水の音、振動など気になりだすと眠ることができません。新しくなった部屋はエアコンも快適で熟睡することができました。そして、コンセントには USB 5V 供給が埋め込まれています。これも便利なことです。

I have been having chances to be in Singapore last 30+ years since 1987 we made the first trip with family.  This country has been changing and developing a lot.  The hotel I use for the business got older so the rooms were renovating last a few years and go on.  I used a room newly opened this time.  It became quite comfortable with quiet and conveniences in the room.
