It is the second Sunday in May so called as the Mother’s day. Wife received the flower from Singapore this year again she really appreciate to son and his wife. We also appreciate the logistics that the flowers came from Singapore overseas. We wish family would be happy with health.
母の日、今年もシンガポールに住む息子夫婦から素敵な花が届きました。嬉しいことです。そして、シンガポールという遠い地から新鮮な花がタイムリーに届けられる物流にも感謝です。
仕事が順調に進み今日は1日フリーとなりました。来週のシンガポール出張を控えているので衣服を洗濯して、週末の妻の仕事を減らしたつもりですが、自動乾燥機の仕上げではシワだらけになってしまいました。昼前にホテルを出て台北駅周辺で時間をつぶしました。以前の仕事で関係した台湾新幹線を見たかったのですがホームに降りられず。駅ナカの店で台湾ワンタン麺を昼にいただき、近くの三越でパイナップルのお菓子をお土産に買いました。帰りの便は羽田まで3時間足らず、週末は自宅でのんびりとしましょう。
The work went smoothly this week so I have today free just return to home. I then visited to the Taipei main railroad station spend time for just looking around. Unfortunately I could not go down to the platform for the high speed train that I had job several years ago. I visited to the shop in Mitsukoshi department store buying some souvenirs to home and friends.
台北の北に位置する北投地区に来ています。台北松山空港からタクシーで 350 元、約 1,400 円のところです。今週、あいにくの天気で青空はのぞめそうにありません。強い雨の中でも多くのバイクが走っています。街並みを見ると中国を連想しますが、料理店などに入ってみると少し違うような気がします。ローカルな店に入って夕食を楽しんでいますが、小綺麗で人当たりも良く、安心感があります。連日、点心と麺の食事です。
I am here in Taiwan Beito area for the business this week. It is my first trip to this country. I took a taxi from the city airport took 350 Yen it is about 1,400 JPY. It is unfortunate but the weather is not good this week so I shall use my umbrella to visit to the office near to the hotel. There are a lot of small bikes are on the road even with the heavy rain condition. It looks like China if I saw the city but seems bit different when I entered to a restaurant. There are nice and clean as well as people are kind. I am enjoying lunch and dinner at the local food shop this time.
長い連休も今日の振替休日で終わります。元号が平成から令和と新しくなり、日本はお祭りモードでした。これまでに無かった 10 連休という長い休みに対して紆余曲折の意見がありますが、人それぞれに楽しく健康で過ごせたら私は良かったと思います。さて、海外では日本の再活動を待っていて、今朝の便で台湾に飛びます。私にとって初めての台北訪問となり、少し緊張しています。庭のクレマチスが綺麗に咲きました。朝の中央線は記念車両。今週も楽しくやりましょう。
It has been the long holiday total 10 days in Japan. That is now end by today Monday the 6-May. The era changed from Heisei to Reiwa this time so it was like a new years holiday people celebrate this in the town. There are many talking good and bad this 10 days holiday but I am sure people enjoyed with fun and health that is the most important for our life. I now started to work trip to Taiwan today. It seems good things will be happen because the nice flower at my garden and took a special train this early morning.
連休の後半は天気が良くなると聞き、寝室のワックスかけをすることにしました。築 20 年弱、我が家は全てフローリングとしたのですが、当時の床材はワックスが必要で定期的に塗り重ねてきました。最近になってむらが目立ってきたので、今回は古いワックスを剥がすことからやってみました。20 畳の寝室、剥離には丸 2 日かかりました。そして快晴の今日、朝から半日、ワックスで仕上げています。室内犬がいるので滑りにくい樹脂製にしてみました。
It has been just waxing my room since last 19 plus years. The all rooms are flooring by wood so need to be maintain periodically. I have been just waxing on to the old wax so now days there are some portion have unevenness. So I decided to remove the old wax that took me almost 2 days, hard work. I then put the new wax this morning this morning. Hoping this wax is convenient to our dog not so slippy.
ちょうど 2 年前のゴールデンウィークに作ったテラスの飾り扉ですが、昨年秋の大型台風で吹き飛ばされてしまい、そのままとなっていました。昨日、今日と使って修繕をしました。素人作業ですからしっかりした取り付けができず、また、強風で飛ばされてしまうかも知れません。今回は落とし錠のような構造を中心に付けたので、少しは良いかも知れません。扉そのものは破壊されていませんでした。やはり組み木構造が強いのだと思います。さて、この秋の台風は持ちこたえることができると良いのですが。
I have made the decoration door at the terrace just 2 years ago. It was blew off by the big typhoon last autumn. Since then the door just put aside at the terrace. I took time yesterday and today to repair it with a lock bar at the middle section. So hope this stays for awhile through the typhoon season this year.
最近の車は昼間でもライト付近の照明を点灯できるようになっています。Daytime Running Light DRL と呼ばれています。私の愛車は既に 7 年目、このような機能は無いものと思っていました。WEB の情報から On Board Diagnostic OBD 機能を利用してコーディング、つまりファームウェアの書き換えを行えば BMW の象徴でもあるイカリングを DRL にできることを知り、早速この連休中の楽しみとしてやってみました。ハードウェアとしては Carly というインターフェース、それを WiFi 経由で動作させるアプリケーションが必要となります。両方で出費は 17,000 円ほどでした。アプリケーションは毎年の課金ですが、一度実施してしまえば解約してしまっても良いかも知れません。DRL の他、ロックと同時にミラーをたたむことも設定できました。速度のデジタル表示もやってみましたが、この先、何かと楽しめそうです。
Now days there are cars putting light on in a daytime that called DRL Daytime Running Light. My car is already 7 years old so I thought such function is not available but yes, using the OBD On Board Diagnostic line to modify the coding to enable it. I then purchased both hardware and application total 17,000 JPY. The application is 6,000 JPY every year so I may cancel the prescription next year. I then played this toy enabled mirror fold and unfold also display the speed in digital window. Let me play some more while I purchased this nice toy.
それにしても朝から暑い日でした。日本から参加した私は上着を着て行ったのですが、ほとんど手に持っていた次第です。業務の打ち合わせを終えて関係者で近くの中華料理店で昼食をとりました。まず驚いたことは食器をお湯で各自が洗うことです。レストランで出された食器を自分で湯煎する姿を見たのは初めてでした。帰りの便 NH-810 はなんと乗客が 35 名だけ！767-300 ですから 10% 程度の席しか埋まっていませんでした。おかげで CA によるサービスは満点、とても快適な空の旅となりました。
It was really hot here from early morning today. I ware my jacket from Japan but I just carry most of the time today in HK. We took a lunch after the meeting with the customer at the restaurant near the hospital. I was shocked to see the people washes dishes with hot water by themselves. I never seen this before such a customs because I just believe those dishes are clean at the restaurant, anyway. Another surprise was the cabin to Narita was only 10% full with only 35 passengers! It was a really nice serving time by those CA’s due to this easy flight back to Japan.
今朝の成田便で香港へ来ています。夕方からの事前会議、明日の客先での打ち合わせのためです。明日は午後の便でとんぼ返り、木曜の会議に間に合うように帰国します。短時間の香港、折角なのでホテルから出て少し歩いてきました。近くの公園には小高い丘があって、気温が高いので汗をたくさんかきました。ここには蚊が多く見られます。虫除けが必要です。
I am making just a short tip to HongKong for the meeting tomorrow morning and this evening. I needed to be back on Wednesday to lead the big meeting on Thursday in Japan so it is only a one night stay this time. I found out a few hours free this afternoon then took a walk at the park near the hotel. Swat a lot with this high temperature and humidity here. But it was a good walk after long journey from my home.
クルミを連れて近くの川沿いの道を散歩しました。ソメイヨシノに代わって八重桜が満開です。風もなく穏やかな日です。川沿いには鯉のぼりも飾られています。ここでは毎年、多くの鯉のぼりを飾って節句を祝うようです。
We took a walk with Kurumi this morning. The double flower cherry trees are now gorgeous lots of blossoms we could see. It was nice day without any wind enjoyed sunshine. This town celebrate the 5th of May with the carp decoration that we also could enjoyed.
