シンガポールでの楽しみの一つですが、紅茶と共に過ごすハイティーがあります。休みの日はブランチとして朝昼兼用の食事ができます。シンガポールで創業された TWG は高級紅茶を提供しています。訪れる度に買い揃えた缶がこんなにも集まりました。昨日、近くの手作りマーケットで棚を購入、今日、早速取り付けて紅茶の缶を並べてみました。まるでお店のような一角ができました。

“High Tea” is one of fun things in Singapore enjoy time with good tea and food.  Sometime it serves as brunch on a weekend combining breakfast and lunch.  TWG tea company was found in Singapore as the premium tea brand.  Wife likes this tea and we have been collecting flavors so now several cans are in our house.  We then decorated them to the wall mount self today.  I bought the self yesterday at the hand made things market at the park.

友人が楽しんでいるゲーム、周囲に現れるキャラクターを集めることが目的らしい。これを活用すると歩くことが多くなるとか、出張で海外に行く機会がしばしばあるので、遠くの地で現れるキャラクターを探して来て欲しいと頼まれてインストールしてみました。少し前に世論でも騒がれたゲーム、スマホの画面を見つめてしまうのが気になります。少し付き合ってみましょう。ゲームには獲得したキャラクターを使って写真を撮ることもできるなど、技術的に面白い点も多々あります。

I was asked my friends to install the game Pokémon Go to collect characters in overseas. They were playing the game last couple of years so they are now teaching me how to play. I then got some of those on the trip to Singapore this week. It is interesting me to know some new technology this game has.

今週、私は南国シンガポールにいて見ることができませんでしたが我が家のある地域では降雪が記録されました。桜の咲く頃は花冷えと良く言われますが、本当に冷えた1週間でした。この週末からまた気温が高くなるようですが、朝晩はストーブが必要です。寒暖の差が大きい日々、体調を崩さないように。

It was snowing this week while I was in Singapore so I could not see it. It is always cold while cherry trees are blooming. However this week was unusually cold in this year so we are still turning on the stove still in this spring. Please take care everyone with this season temperature ups and downs.

今週のシンガポール記です。今回も業務での弾丸訪星となっています。日本を月曜の夕方に出て、火曜の午前2時過ぎに就寝。明日、金曜の早朝便で発ちます。どうしても寝不足になってしまいます。今回はこちらにある製造工場を訪れました。マレーシアに近い地域です。周囲は工業団地化していて多くの企業が活動をしています。最初にこの辺りに来た時とは大きく様変わりしていました。さて明日の朝は3:30に目覚ましをセットしました。寝過ごしませんように、おやすみなさい。😴

I am in Singapore this week again for the business. Left Narita on Monday evening and arrived to Singapore midnight went to the bed around 2am on Tuesday. I will leave 6am flight on Friday back to Tokyo such a quick visit. It is hard for me due to the short sleep during the trip even the time lag is only an hour from Tokyo. I visited to the manufacturing facility this time. The facility is located near to the Malaysia developed as the industry area. I remember this place was just a jangle when I visited here many years ago.

昨日は学生時代からの友人たちと横浜で1日を過ごしました。横浜駅東口から歩いてシーバス乗り場へ、みなとみらい、赤れんがの波止場を経由して山下公園へ。海から眺める横浜も良いものでした。公園では桜に加え多くの花々を楽しむことができました。春休み最後の週末とあってか、多くの人がふりそそぐ陽を楽しんでいました。中華街をぶらり、昼食と夕食を一緒にした食事を円卓で。今年65歳を迎える私たちは今後の生き方も話題となりました。帰りは石川町駅から、2人とは横浜駅で別れ、残った4人で二次会をビアホールで、少し、いや、じゅうぶんに飲みすぎた日曜日でした。

We had a reunion yesterday at Yokohama. Met at the station, walk to the sea-bus port got the 11:40 one to the park of Yamashita. The sea-bus stopped 2 ports before got to the final destination. Minato Mirai, Aka Renga, watched the scenery while on the sea-bus from the sea side, it was nice time we took. Walked around at the park, best timing for the cherry trees and a lot of flowers at the garden. Since it was the last weekend of the spring school holiday in Japan, there were a lot of people have been enjoying the sun shine. We then walked and looked the China town and took a nice food and drink for both lunch and dinner. I really appreciate this friendship with them.

先週はパスポートを更新して既に 2 度目の訪星となりました。今回は週末をはさんで少しのんびりすることができました。シンガポールに住む息子夫妻と一緒にホテル近くの Peranakan Musium を訪れて歴史に触れる時間を共にすることができました。息子が運転する車で移動できたことは幸せで、時間を効率よく使うことができました。後部座席で感じたことですが、路上駐車している車両が皆無なので、比較的交通量は多いのですが、円滑な流れが確保されています。私が住むこの地では2車線の幹線道路は路上でハザードを点けて駐車している車が多く、結局は1車線という有様です。これはシンガポールを見習いたいことです。

It was already 2nd time visited to Singapore after renewed my passport this year. This time we family could get together all on a weekend. Played tennis in the morning and visited a few places by son’s car. It was so convenient having a car to see places. I have been feeling differences that there were no cars parking on the road in Singapore. The one line is almost blocked in my town by many cars are parking. This is the reason I feel Singapore traffic is smoother than in Tokyo.

2013年3月に購入した第二世代のZ4に乗って丸6年が経過しました。スタイルとオープンになるハードトップに気に入っています。2016年に販売が終わり、昨年新型、第三世代が発表になりました。そして、先日、近くのディーラーに展示車が来ました。早速見学に。テレビで宣伝されていますが、トヨタスープラとの共同開発車とのこと、BMWの面影が薄れたようです。ヘッドライトのイカリングも無くなりました。ソフトトップの開閉速度は10秒足らずと、第二世代の20秒と比べると流石に早いです。ドライバーズシートに座らせていただきました。ソフトトップを閉めた状態では横方向の視界が狭くなり、少し閉塞感がきついようです。

It has been already 6 years I drive my Z4 that is the 2nd edition from BMW. I like this car very much with the style and hard top open mechanic. This 2nd edition obsoleted as of 2016 autumn and now the new 3rd edition was arrived. I then visited to the shop to see the car that was jointly developed with Toyota. To be honest the style is now not like BMW more like Maserati. The open mechanic is there but the soft type with only 10 seconds to open or close that is pretty fast. I sat to the drivers seat and felt that the side view is very limited due to the soft top design.

東京の開花宣言は昨日でした。そして、我が家の庭にも目をやると花々が咲き始めています。芝の片隅では紫色のムスカリ。確か昨年は小さな花が 1 輪でした。球根で増えるこのムスカリ、これから幅を広げていくことでしょう。毎年綺麗な花を見せてくれる水仙も最初の花が大きく開きました。周りには多くの蕾が出ていて、これからが楽しみです。昨年の猛暑の時期に水やりを怠ったために元気がない草花もあります。大切に育ててやりたいと思います。

It was yesterday that the day cherry tree brooms in Tokyo. It was 5 days earlier than previous year that the news said. I have looked our garden and seeing flowers here also. Some tiny muscari are more than last year I have been enjoying this tiny flower every year. There are some flowers seems not well may be because the hot weather and less water last summer.

昨日、ほぼ 1 年ぶりに宮城方面へ日帰りで出張しました。我が家から目的地までは片道 3 時間以上かかります。早朝に出て帰宅は深夜となりました。JR は春のダイヤ改正があり私は次の変化を体験しました。 (1) 運行時間短縮、(2) 車内販売廃止、(3) ライナーから特急化。私の行程での運行時間短縮は 10 分程度なのですが、400km の距離を 2 時間 = 120 分、10 分は 8% の加速に等しく素晴らしいことです。帰宅時、これまでは車内販売か、乗り換え駅での駅弁で空腹を満たしていたのですが、昨夜は結局おつまみとビールで帰ってきました。そして東京駅では消えたライナーに変わって特急となり、増発されていました。510 円で利用できたのですが、チケットレスでも 650 円と値上げされていました。良い点、悪い点、色々と体験した昨日でした。

It has been long time did not visit to the factory in northern part of Japan. It takes 3 hours more from my home one way. So I left home early in the morning and returned at midnight. The Japan Rail load company made the changes recently and experienced good and difficult things this time. The good thing is that the train runs faster about 8% that now gives 10 minutes shorter in 400km way. However the cart in the train stoped so no way to buy things on the way, I needed to buy at the station but all sold out! So I just took snack and beer yesterday. When I arrived to Tokyo station I realized the express line system was updated and increased the fee, oh, no! Well hope those changes make economic growth in Japan.

運転免許の書き替えを目的に来日した息子夫婦と共に 1 週間を過ごすことができた。シンガポールに住む彼らとは離れた生活ではあるが、私は業務でシンガポールに頻繁に出張しているので、会える機会が多い。一家で時間を過ごせることに感謝しつつ、旅行と料理を楽しむことができた。お嫁さんが訪れたことの無い地にいくこととし、今回は那須と日光、鬼怒川へ足をのばした。那須では思いがけない降雪に出くわし、シンガポールでは見たことがない風景を喜んでいた。何かと相談にのってもらっている息子とも多くの時間を共にできたことは感謝である。また、計画をして旅行を楽しめる日を楽しみにしている。

Son and his wife came over to Japan renewing his Japanese drivers license and spent a week this time with us. It was so nice having time with family. They are living in Singapore and luckily I have often to see them while my business trip to there but really appreciate have time with all of us. We then had trip and enjoyed food. We visited to Nasu, Nikko and Kinugawa where his wife have not been there yet. It was surprising snow in Nasu that she was really enjoyed. I also again thanks to my son spent with me and talked things both in business and in personnel. Let us make another plan and looking forward to have time again with family.
