今日も冬晴れの一日でした。風がなく、陽が暖かく、穏やかな日を過ごすことができました。クルミと庭で遊んでいたら、散歩中の犬が立ち寄ってくれました。クルミは犬に興味がありません。吠えず、ただ見ているだけでした。飼い主さんからおやつをいただいてクルミはご機嫌でした。私は、これまで 9 年間乗ってきた愛車とお別れしました。最後の 2 年間はコロナウィルスの問題で通勤に乗らなくなっていたので、ほぼ 7 年間しか使っていなかったことになります。今度、この車は誰が乗るのか、後ろ姿を見て感慨に耽っていました。

It was a sunny day in winter today. There was no wind, the sun was warm, and I was able to spend a calm day. When I was playing with Kurumi in the garden, a dog on a walk stopped by. Kurumi is not interested in dogs. He didn’t bark, he was just looking. Kurumi was in a good mood after receiving a snack from the owner. I said goodbye to my car that I have been riding for 9 years. I hadn’t been commuting for the last two years because of a coronavirus problem, so I’ve only been using it for almost seven years only. This time, I was deeply moved by seeing the back view of the car who would ride next.

今朝は 4 時にクルミと一緒に起きてしまいました。外はまだ真っ暗です。この時期は夜明けが 6:30 なので明るくなるまではしばらく時間がありました。私はリビングでラジオを聴いています。クルミはソファーで眠ってしまいました。今日も冬晴れで気持ちが良い一日でした。妻と夕食にでかけた蕎麦屋さんは前日の予約が必要で、今夜は 3 組のお客さんだけでした。今夜はガスストーブの暖房です。クルミはストーブの前で暖かい風を受けていました。

I got up with Kurumi at 4 o’clock this morning. It’s still completely dark outside. At this time of year, the dawn was 6:30, so it took some time before it became bright. I’m listening to the radio in the living room. Kurumi fell asleep on the sofa. It was a nice day with a sunny winter day. The soba restaurant that went out for dinner with my wife had to make a reservation the day before, and tonight there were only three pair of customers. I then used the gas stove heating rooms. Kurumi was receiving a warm breeze in front of the stove.

これまで使ってきた無停電電源装置 UPS を取り外しました。家に蓄電池が設置されたので停電の心配はなくなりました。そろそろ電池の交換時期が近づいていたこともあります。鉛が使用されている電池なので環境にも良くありませんが、これまで数回、停電した時に活躍してくれました。今日もクルミとの時間を楽しむことができました。午後は食料品の買い物にでかけました。街はクリスマスカラーになっています。

It may be time to replace the batteries. It’s a battery that uses lead, so it’s not good for the environment, but it has been useful in the event of a power outage several times. I was able to enjoy the time with Kurumi today as well. In the afternoon, we went shopping for groceries. The city is in Christmas colors now.

今日は晴れました。昨日の雨と風で庭の芝は枯葉で覆われてしまいました。掃除をしていたらクルミも枯葉の山に興味を示したのか近寄ってきました。枯葉で遊ぶかと思ったらおしっこをかけて行ってしまいました。久しぶりの太陽の暖かさが嬉しかった日でした。

It was sunny today. Yesterday’s rain and wind covered the grass in the garden with dead leaves. When I was cleaning, Kurumi came closer to me, maybe he was interested in the mountain of dead leaves. When I thought he is going to play with dead leaves, He peeed and went away. It was a day when we were happy with the warmth of the sun after rainy days.

今日は朝から雨の一日でした。昨日、今日、48 時間の日照時間がゼロだったそうです。12 月のこの時期にしては異例の天候でした。予報では明日からはまた冬晴れの日が戻ってくるようです。雨で寒い日は早くから薪ストーブで家中を暖かくして過ごします。薪の中に潜んでいた幼虫が成虫になってしまいました。私は夕方からビールを楽しむことができました。クルミは今日も家の中で遊んでいました。

Today was a rainy day from the morning. Yesterday, today, 48 hours of sunshine time were zero. The weather was unusual for this time of December. According to the forecast, a sunny winter day will come back from tomorrow. On rainy and cold days, I spend the whole house warming up with a wood stove from early on. The larvae lurking in the firewood have become adults. I was able to enjoy beer from the evening. Kurumi was playing in the house today.

今日の天気は曇、夜からは雨となりました。この雨は明日も降り続くようです。陽の暖かさが無い寒い日でした。こんな日、クルミは外にも出られないので家の中で遊んでいます。夕方から薪ストーブを使って暖かくしてやると気持ちよさそうに眠っていました。私は自宅で仕事の一日でした。

Today’s weather was cloudy and it rained from night. This rain seems to continue tomorrow. It was a cold day without the warmth of the sun. On such a day, Kurumi can’t go out so he was playing in the house. He slept comfortably when I warmed it up with a wood stove from the evening. I had a day of work at home.

今日はクルミと一緒にドライブ、諏訪湖近くまで買い物に行ってきました。前回の旅行で立ち寄ったお店です。その時は未だ品物が無かったので、今日はその品物を買いにきました。クリスマスのお菓子です。これからクリスマスまで少しずついただきます。清里の萌木の村に寄って昼食にしました。ここも前回は満員で入れなかったのですが、今日はクルミと一緒に暖かい店内で一休みすることができました。往復 350km のドライブだったのですが、渋滞が無かったので疲労感は無く、楽しい一日を過ごすことができました。

Today we went for a drive with Kurumi and shopping near Lake Suwa. This is the shop we stopped by on our last trip. Wife didn’t have any items at that time, so we came to buy them today. Christmas sweets. From now on, We’ll have it little by little until Christmas. We stopped by the village of Moegi in Kiyosato and had lunch. We couldn’t enter here because it was full last time, but today we were able to take a rest in a warm store with Kurumi. It was a 350km round trip drive, but there was no traffic, so I didn’t feel tired and had a good day.

今日は妻とクリスマスの飾り付けを行いました。以前は大きなツリーを飾ったのですが、今は小さなツリーを 2 つリビングに置いています。オーナメントの中には 30 年前に買ったものもあって、飾り付けをする時にその頃のことを思い出しています。去年は庭のオリーブの木に電飾を付けたのですが、今年は諦めました。夏に虫に食われた幹は枯れてしまっています。でも根からは新しい芽が出てきています。これからこの子を育ててやろうと思います。クルミは私たちが飾り付けをしている間、いびきをかいて昼寝していました。

Today I decorated Christmas with my wife. We used to decorate a big tree, but now we have two small trees in our living room. Some of the ornaments we bought 30 years ago, and we remember those days when we decorated them. Last year I put an illumination on the olive tree in the garden, but this year I gave up. The trunk that was eaten by insects in the summer has died. But new shoots are coming out from the roots. I will raise this child from now on. Kurumi was snoring and taking a nap while we were decorating.

今日も冬晴れで、陽の光が暖かい日でした。クルミは早朝、お腹を下してしまいました。夜、寒かったのかもしれません。でも食欲があり元気なので安心しています。今夜は少し暖かいベッドにしてあげましょう。窓際に置いたシクラメンに陽があたるととても綺麗です。シクラメンは長く楽しめる花です。私は車庫の前の段差が気になっていて、スロープを取り付けてみました。これで車体の下を擦る回数が減ることを願っています。

It was a sunny winter day and the sun was warm. Kurumi got up early in the morning and he got diarrhea. It may have been cold at night for him. But I am relieved because he has an appetite and he was fine at the daytime. Let’s make the bed a little warmer tonight. It is very beautiful when the cyclamen placed by the window with the sun light. Cyclamen is a flower that we can enjoy for a long time. I was worried about the step in front of the garage, so I installed a slope. I hope this will reduce the number of times I rub under the car body.

今日は T さんと Zoom Meeting のやり方についてお話ししてきました。最近、いろいろな事がリモートで行われるようになり、Zoom Meeting を使う機会が増えてきたそうです。無料のアカウントから Meeting を設定して T さんを招待しました。主催者として使ったことが無かったので私も勉強になりました。許可される場合は、Meeting を録画できるので、講義などを後から視聴することも可能で便利です。今日も冬晴れで、陽の光をたくさんいただくことができました。散歩の途中、猫が車の上で丸くなっている姿がとても愛らしかったです。クルミとの時間も楽しんでいます。

Today I talked with T-san about how to do a Zoom Meeting. Recently, various things have been done remotely, and it seems that the opportunity to use Zoom Meeting has increased. I set up a Meeting from my free account and invited T-san. I had never used it as an organizer, so I learned a lot also. If permitted, it can be recorded the meeting, which is convenient because it can be watched the lecture later. It was sunny in winter today and I was able to get a lot of sunlight. It was very lovely to see the cat curled up on the car during the walk. I also enjoy spending time with Kurumi.
