昨日たくさん外で遊んだクルミは私の横で熟睡していました。クルミを布団の中から引き摺り出して起こしてやりました。そしてリビングルームに移って彼はまた眠ってしまいました。少し肌寒い朝は布団の暖かさが嬉しいです。クルミも同じ思いでしょう。桜が咲く頃は晴天が長く続きません。今日も朝は晴れていたのですが、午後からは雲が多くなってきました。今夜は雨になる予報です。今夜も暖かい布団で一緒に眠ります。

Kurumi played outside a lot yesterday, he was sleeping soundly next to me. I pulled him out of the futon and raised them. Then we moved to the living room and he fell asleep again. I am happy with the warmth of the futon on a slightly chilly morning. Kurumi would be the same. When the cherry blossoms bloom, the sunny weather does not last long. It was sunny in the morning today, but the clouds started to increase in the afternoon. It is forecast that it will rain tonight. We will sleep together on a warm futon tonight.

満開に咲いた桜を見るために公園に行ってきました。昨日の寒さから一転して今日はまた春の暖かさです。少し風が強い日でしたが、学校も春休みとあってか公園には多くの家族連れで賑わっていました。犬を連れた人も多く、まるで品評会のようになっていました。公園近くのカフェで昼食をいただきました。ここも混雑していて、少し長い時間となり、クルミは待ちくたびれたのか、疲れて眠ってしまいました。

It was a little windy day, but the park was crowded with many families because of the spring break. Many people brought their dogs, and it was like a show. We had lunch at a cafe near the park. It was also crowded here, and we spent little long time, and Kurumi was tired and fell asleep, probably because he was tired of waiting.

今日はまた冬の寒さがやってきました。一日中太陽が顔を見せず、時々冷たい雨が降る寒い一日となりました。薪を全て燃やしてしまいましたが、これまで薪割りに使ってきた丸太を割って燃やすことにしました。何年も前から使ってきたので乾き切ってしまっています。それでもどうにか暖を得ることができました。この先も寒暖を繰り返すようです。もう少し、薪を仕入れようか悩んでいます。クルミは薪ストーブが大好きです。でも夕方になるとお腹が空いてしまい、妻の顔を見つめていました。

It’s cold winter again today. It was a cold day with occasional cold rain, with the sun not showing up all day long. I have burned all the firewood, but I decided to break the logs I used to chop the wood and burn it. I’ve been using it for many years, so it’s completely dry. Still, I managed to get warmth. It seems that the temperature will repeat in next several days. I’m worried about buying firewood a little more. Kurumi loves wood stoves. But in the evening he was hungry and staring at my wife’s face for dinner.

これまで自分の机があった会社の事務所ですが、今月からオープンスペースと言って、誰が何処に座ってもよくなりました。会社勤めを始めてから 46 年間は自分の机があったのですが、初めての経験です。引き出しも無い広いテーブルが提供されています。コロナウィルスの感染が拡大してからリモートで働くようになり、会社で働く人も激減しました。理解できることなのですが、当事者になってみると少し複雑な気分です。夕方、近くの公園の桜を見にいきました。今日は多くの桜の木が満開となっています。クルミは今日も元気に過ごしています。耳が聞こえないことを忘れてしまいそうです。

The office of the company where I used to have my desk, but from this month, it’s an open space, and anyone can sit anywhere. I had my own desk for 46 years since I started working at a company, but this is my first experience. A large table with no drawers is provided. After the coronavirus infection spread, I started working remotely, and the number of people working at the company has decreased dramatically. It’s understandable, but when it comes to being a party, it feels a bit complicated. In the evening, I went to see the cherry blossoms in a nearby park. Many cherry trees are in full bloom today. Kurumi is doing well today as usual. It’s easy to forget that he can’t hear.

家の近くの公園にある桜の木、花が咲き始めました。今日は気温が 20 ℃となりました。この温かさで多くの桜が満開を迎えています。この時期は気温の変化が激しいので体調を崩さないように注意する必要があります。私は散歩をして少し汗をかくようにしてみました。クルミは今日も食欲旺盛です。夕方は待ちきれなくなって夕食をせがんでいました。こうして穏やかな日曜を家族と過ごせることに感謝しています。テレビのニュースでウクライナの人たちのことを知る度に心が締め付けられます。

Cherry trees and flowers in the park near my house have begun to bloom. Today the temperature was up to 20 degrees Celsius. Many cherry blossoms are in full bloom with this warmth. During this time, the temperature changes drastically, so we need to be careful not to get sick. I took a walk and tried to sweat a little. Kurumi has a strong appetite today as usual. He couldn’t wait in the evening and was asking for a supper. I am grateful to be able to spend a peaceful Sunday with my family. Every time I get to know the Ukrainians on TV news, my heart is squeezed.

今日の天気は曇りから雨になる予報です。風も強くなるようです。咲き始めた桜が散らないことを願っています。気温は上がってきて外に出ると春の雰囲気が漂ってきます。家の断熱効果が良いためか、外気との温度差を感じます。外は暖かいのに室内は昨日の寒さが残っています。夕方からは暖房を点けました。クルミはストーブからの温かい風を感じて直ぐに近寄っていきました。雨が降り出す前に私は一仕事、車庫に充電用のコンセントを設置してみました。

When the temperature rises and I go outside, I feel the atmosphere of spring. I feel the temperature difference from the outside air, probably because the heat insulation effect of the house is good. It’s warm outside, but yesterday’s cold remains inside. I turned on the heating from the evening. Kurumi immediately approached, feeling the warm air from the stove. Before it started to rain, I had a job to install a charging outlet at the car park area.

クルミは今日、トリミングに行きました。天気が良かったので、行き、帰りともに歩いて行ってきました。気持ち良くなって疲れたこともあり、帰ってからは良く眠っていました。クルミが眠っている間、私たちは大型家具ベッドの入れ替えです。22 年間、使ってきたベッドを入れ替えました。この先は介護ベッドにもなるものにしてみました。今夜から新しい眠りを楽しめそうです。

Kurumi went to trim (hair cut) today. The weather was nice, so he took walk back and forth. He felt comfortable and tired, so Kurumi slept well after returning. While Kurumi was sleeping, we are swapping large furniture beds. I replaced the bed I had been using for 22 years. I tried to make it a nursing bed in the future. I think I can enjoy a new sleep from tonight.

今日のランチは妻と駅ビルにあるレストランに行くことにしました。最近開店したイタリアンレストランです。入店時に係の人から「注文はスマホからとなります。」と言われました。最近はこのようなシステムを導入している店が増えてきました。メニューを見て、自分のスマホから注文を入れることができます。レストランとしても注文時に接客する必要がありませんから人手を減らすことができます。支払いもスマホでできます。帰宅してから今シーズンの最後として薪ストーブを掃除しました。昨夜、薪を全て燃やしました。でも夜は冷えてきます。クルミはガスストーブの前で温まって眠っていました。

For lunch today, I decided to go to a restaurant in the station building with my wife. It is an Italian restaurant that opened recently. When I entered the store, the person in charge said, “Orders will be made from your smartphone.” Recently, the number of stores that have introduced such a system has increased. We can see the menu and place an order from our smartphone. As a restaurant, there is no need to serve customers when ordering, so labor can be reduced. We can also pay with our smartphone. After I got home, I cleaned the wood stove as the last of this season. I burned all the firewood last night. But it gets cold at night. Kurumi was getting warm and sleeping in front of the gas stove.

桜の花が咲き始めたので散歩の途中にお寺に寄ってみました。ここには樹齢 400 年と言われている枝垂れ桜があります。近寄ってみると桜の花が少し咲いています。見頃になるのは 1 週間程度先かも知れません。昨日に続き、今日も寒い日でした。この時期は花冷えとも言われますが、まだ寒い日が続きます。クルミは夕方 5 時になると夕食をせがみ始めます。お腹が空いてしまうのでしょう。妻もクルミの根気に負けて少し早く夕食にしてやりました。

My wife also lost the patience of him and had dinner a little earlier.

今日の天気は冬に戻ってしまい、雪が降ってきました。朝から午後 3 時まで降り続け 3cm 積もりました。こんな日は屋根の太陽光発電は機能しません。夜間に充電した電気で昼間は過ごせましたが、夕方には放電してしまい、電力会社からの電気に頼って夜を過ごしています。先週の地震の影響で電力会社の発電能力が落ちていて、今日は停電になる恐れが発生しました。天気が悪い日はクルミは眠っている時間がとても長いです。そして、残り少なくなった薪で温かくした部屋で熟睡していました。

Kurumi sleeps very long on bad weather. Then, he slept soundly in a room warmed with firewood that was running low.
