今日も初夏のような気候の一日でした。最近朝の散歩では上手に鳴く鶯の囀りに心癒されます。昼間は日差しの強さで汗ばんでしまいました。少し風があって過ごしやすい一日でした。クルミも連れて外出することにして、まずは車の契約を済ませました。これが人生で最後の自家用車になると思います。18 歳で運転免許を取得して以来、多くの車を所有することができました。最後は電気で走る車になるとは思ってもいませんでした。今から納車が楽しみです。昼はテラスのあるカフェでクルミも一緒にランチをいただきました。パラソルの下で本を読んでいる人も穏やかな時間を過ごしているようでした。スーパーマーケットでは妻に買い物に行ってもらい、私とクルミは駐車場で待つことにしました。少し長い外出だったので、クルミは座席で熟睡してしまいました。

Today was also a day with a climate like early summer. Recently, in the morning walk, I am healed by the singing of the bush warbler. In the daytime, I got sweaty due to the strength of the sun. It was a nice day with a little wind. I decided to go out with Kurumi, and first I signed a car contract. I think this will be the last private car in my life. Since I got my driver’s license at the age of 18, I have been able to own many cars. At the end, I didn’t expect it to be an electric car. I am looking forward to delivering the car from now on. At noon, we had lunch with Kurumi at a cafe with a terrace. People reading books under the umbrella also seemed to have a calm time. At the grocery store, my wife went shopping and I and Kurumi decided to wait in the parking lot. It was a little long out, so he fell asleep in the rear seats.

昨日よりも気温が高くなり、今日の午後は初夏のような陽気です。クルミは年に一度の予防接種を受けに獣医を訪れました。日本は島国のため、狂犬病に感染している犬はほとんど居ないのですが、人にも影響がある怖い病気です。法令でも接種が義務付けられています。4 月は摂取に訪れる犬が多いので少し待たされました。クルミは医師の前ではおとなしく、注射や採血も痛がることがありません。注射をした日は安静にしていなければなりません。クルミは疲れたのか帰宅したら熟睡してしまいました。

It’s hotter than yesterday and this afternoon is as cheerful as early summer. Kurumi visited a veterinarian for an annual vaccination. Since Japan is an island country, almost no dogs are infected with rabies, but it is a scary disease that affects people. Inoculation is also required by law. In April, many dogs come to take it, so we had to wait for a while. Kurumi is docile in front of the doctor and does not hurt injections or blood draws. He must be at rest on the day of the injection. Maybe he was tired, and when he got home, he fell asleep.

天気予報ではこの先は暖かくなる一方で、寒さが戻ることは無いようです。今日も暖かい日となり、桜は散り始めました。直ぐにまた暑い夏がやってくることでしょう。太陽の暖かさに誘われてクルミと庭で遊びました。来週は息子夫婦が来ます。この週末は準備の買い出しに行きます。

According to the weather forecast, it will be warmer from now on, seems the cold will not return. It was a warm day today and the cherry blossoms began to fall. The hot summer will soon come again. Invited by the warmth of the sun, I played with Kurumi in the garden. Next week, my son and his wife will come. We are going shopping for preparations this weekend.

朝の散歩では多くの花を見ることができる季節になりました。そして、遠くに目をやると桜の木を見つけることができます。満開を過ぎた桜からは花びらが舞っています。午後、クルミと一緒に公園に出かけてみました。ここにも多くの桜の木があります。そして、花びらがピンクの絨毯のように芝の上を飾っていました。一日、長い時間クルミと一緒にいることができました。帰宅して庭にいると K さんがモモちゃん（12歳のトイプードル）を連れて立ち寄ってくれました。モモちゃんは心臓に病気があって、来週の火曜日に手術をすることにしたそうです。小さな体です。無事に治療ができてまた元気に遊びにきてくれることを願います。

It is the season when I can see many flowers on my morning walk. And if I look far away, I can find the cherry trees. Petals are fluttering from the cherry blossoms that have passed the full bloom. In the afternoon, I went to the park with Kurumi. There are many cherry trees here as well. And the petals adorned the grass like a pink carpet. I was able to stay with Kurumi for a long time all day long. When we got home and were in the garden, K-san stopped by with Momo-chan (12-year-old toy poodle). Momo-chan has a heart disease and decided to have an operation next Tuesday. It’s a small body. I hope that she will be able to treat herself safely and come back to play well with us.

今日は朝から夕方までリモートワークで多くの会議に参加していました。昼は中国上海の人と話しましたが、彼は 1 ヶ月の間街がロックダウンなので自宅で生活しているとのことでした。夕方は欧州の人と近況を話し合っています。話題はどうしてもコロナウイルスの感染になってしまいます。日本でもまた BA2 の感染が広がってきました。コロナウィルスの感染拡大、ロシアのウクライナ侵攻、いずれも早く落ち着いてもらいたいものです。仕事を終えてもまだ明るい夕方、クルミと庭で過ごしました。クルミはイチゴの苗が気になっています。早く赤い甘いイチゴができるといいね。

Today I attended many meetings by remote work from morning till evening. I talked to a person from Shanghai, China during the day, and he said he lived at home for a month because the city was locked down. In the evening, we are discussing the latest situation with Europeans. The topic is inevitably infected with coronavirus. Infection of BA2 has also spread in Japan. I hope that the spread of the coronavirus infection and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine will all settle down as soon as possible. After work, I spent a bright evening in the garden with Kurumi. He is interested in strawberry seedlings. I hope he can have red sweet strawberries soon.

今朝は目覚まし時計が鳴る前に小鳥の囀りで目覚めることができました。カーテンを開けて青空が見えると嬉しくなります。昨日までの寒さは去り、今日からは暖かい穏やかな天気が続くと予報が出ています。コーヒーを淹れて新聞を読むのですが、ウクライナで起きた残酷な事態は私の心を締め付けます。激しい雨のためか庭の花がおじぎしてしまいました。サポートを使って花々を立たせてあげるととても綺麗です。晴れた午後、昼寝をしていたクルミを庭に誘ってしばらく遊びました。夕方からはまた雲が出てきて肌寒くなってきました。

This morning I was able to wake up with a bird’s singing before the alarm clock rang. It makes me happy when I open the curtain and see the blue sky. It is forecast that the cold weather until yesterday will be gone and the warm and mild weather will continue from today. I brew coffee and read newspapers, but the cruelty that happened in Ukraine squeezes my heart. The flowers in the garden have bowed, probably because of the heavy rain. It is very beautiful if I use the support to make the flowers stand. On a sunny afternoon, I invited Kurumi when he was taking a nap to the garden and played for a while. Clouds came out again from the evening and it became chilly.

今日は朝から冷たい雨が降る寒い一日でした。今朝も傘を持って散歩をしました。近くの新築の家を見ていて、エアコンの配管が壁に埋め込まれているのを見て驚きました。このようにすると外観がすっきりして綺麗です。でも、もし、配管の交換の必要性が出たらどうするのか気になります。技術の進歩は身近なところにあって、それに触れることができるとワクワクします。昨夜はクルミが騒いでよく眠ることができませんでした。昨日も今日も、外で遊ぶことができないので、昼間は寝てばかりのクルミです。それがいけないのかも知れません。

Today was a cold day with cold rain from the morning. I took a walk with an umbrella this morning as well. Looking at a new house nearby, I was surprised to see the air conditioner plumbing embedded in the wall. By doing this, the appearance is neat and beautiful. But I’m wondering what to do if the pipes need to be replaced. Technological progress is familiar and I am excited to be able to touch it. Last night Kurumi was so noisy that we couldn’t sleep well. He can’t play outside yesterday or today, so Kurumi just slept in the daytime. It may be the reason he can’t sleep at night.

冷たい小雨の中、少し遠くまで歩いてみました。この寒さのおかげでしょうか満開の桜が今でも楽しめます。傘を持つ手が寒さで悴んでしまいました。週明けからはまた暖かい日が来ると予報が出ています。既に燃やす薪が無くなってしまったので、少し、アウトドア用品店で購入することとしました。薪ストーブの暖かさに慣れてしまうと放れることができません。クルミもストーブの暖かさの中、おもちゃで遊んでいました。

I walked a little far in the cold light rain. Perhaps because of this cold weather, I can still enjoy the cherry blossoms in full bloom. The hand holding the umbrella was crushed by the cold. It is forecast that a warm day will come again from the beginning of the week. I have already run out of firewood to burn, so I decided to buy it at an outdoor equipment store for a while. Once I get used to the warmth of the wood stove, I can’t let go. Kurumi was also playing with toys in the warmth of the stove.

昨日に続けて庭仕事をしました。天気は良かったのですが、気温が低い一日でした。妻と一っしょに土いじりをしていたら腰が痛くなってしまいました。庭仕事をすると綺麗な花々を楽しむことができて楽しいのですが、姿勢を悪くしていると身体が辛いです。イチゴの苗も植え替えてみました。クルミはイチゴが大好きです。美味しいイチゴができることを楽しみにしています。

I continued to work in the garden from yesterday and today. The weather was nice, but it was a cold day. When I was working with my wife, my back hurt. It’s fun to work in the garden and enjoy the beautiful flowers, but if you’re in a bad posture, your body will be painful. I also replanted strawberry seedlings. Kurumi loves strawberries. I am looking forward to making delicious strawberries.

昨夜の豪雨は朝には小雨となり、午後からは陽が出て少し暖かくなりました。桜が咲く頃は天気が安定しません。天気が良くなった午後、私が庭仕事をしていると近所の K さんが声をかけてくれました。K さんは散歩の途中で、近くのカフェに行ったのですが、今日はお休みだったそうです。そんな会話からお互いの近況について話すことができました。コロナウィルスの感染が広がってから人と気楽に話せる機会が少なくなったのですが、また、日常が戻ってきていることを少し感じました。こんな穏やかな時間を送れることに感謝します。クルミは庭仕事をしている私のそばで遊んでいました。彼は今日ものんびりして過ごしていました。

The heavy rain last night turned into a light rain in the morning, and the sun came out in the afternoon and it became a little warmer. The weather is not stable when the cherry blossoms bloom. On the afternoon when the weather was nice, K-san in the neighborhood stopped and called me during I was working in the garden. K-san went to a nearby cafe during his walk, but he said it was no business today. From such a conversation, we were able to talk about each other’s recent situation. After the coronavirus infection spread, I had less chance to talk comfortably with people, but I also felt that our normal life was back. Thanks god for having such a peaceful time. Kurumi was playing beside me, when I was working in the garden. He was spending a leisurely time today.
