昨日、今日と暑い日が続いています。散歩をしていて、木陰で休む猫を思わず写真に撮ってしまいました。クルミの写真を撮る時も思うのですが、カメラと目線を合わせてくれると嬉しくなります。クルミも私が毎日写真を撮るようになってから目線を合わせるようになってきました。以前はカメラが嫌いで目線を逸らせていたのですが、きっと諦めたのでしょう。明日も楽しく遊ぼうね。

Yesterday and today, hot days continue. While taking a walk, I just took a picture of a cat resting in the shade of a tree. When I take a picture of Kurumi, I’m glad if he looks at the camera. 今日は少し忙しい一日でした。でも、帰宅して庭を見た途端に疲れが消えました。年に一度、庭師の人が来て庭の木々を剪定してくれます。オリーブは多くの枝が整理されてさっぱりしました。ドウダンツツジは丸く綺麗に刈られました。私は芝生の手入れはできますが、木々の剪定はできません。庭師さんはバラも手入れしてくれました。クルミとの時間はあまり取れない日となってしまいました。食事の後、遊んでいたらクルミはすぐに眠ってしまいました。

Today was a little busy day. But as soon as I got home and looked at the garden, my tiredness disappeared. Once a year, a gardener comes and prunes the trees in the garden. Many branches of olives were arranged and refreshed. Azalea trees were cut round. I can take care the lawn, but not the trees. The gardener also took care of the roses. It’s been a day when I don’t have much time with Kurumi. After eating, Kurumi fell asleep as soon as we were playing.

今日は晴れ間が出てきた午後に散歩することにしました。紫陽花がきれいに咲いています。ご近所の庭や街路樹の根本などを見ていると歩いて行くのが楽しくなります。街路樹の根本の紫陽花はボランティアの方が手入れをされていました。感謝の気持ちを込めて挨拶させていただきました。紫陽花は種類や色が豊富です。育ちが早いので手入れが大変と聞いています。そんな理由で我が家にはありません。今日のクルミはいつもと違って甘ったれです。食事の後、寝ぐずっていました。5 分も抱っこしてやると眠ってしまいました。

今日は M さんのお宅でスマートフォン契約の手伝いをしました。これまで使ってこられた携帯電話からの乗り換えになります。最近は格安なキャリアがでてきたので携帯電話と同じか、それ以下の料金でスマートフォンを利用することができます。M さんと一緒にキャリアを比較検討し、機種を決めて注文、乗り換えの契約を済ませることができました。これらの作業が自宅でできました。わざわざ店頭に行く必要もなくて便利です。今度はスマートフォンが来たら、その使い方をサポートします。クルミは夏のベッドに入れ替えてもらってご機嫌です。今日もクルミは元気に遊んでいました。

I was able to compare carriers with M-san, decide on a model, place an order, and complete a transfer contract. These tasks were done at home. It’s convenient because we don’t have to go to the store. Next time, when a smartphone arrives, I will support how to use it. Kurumi is happy to have the replacement with a summer bed today. Kurumi was playing well today as well.

昨夜、クルミは熟睡しました。今朝、起きてからも眠そうです。私たちが食事をしている間、カートの中でおとなしく眠っていました。今日は雨の一日、近くで買い物をして帰ることとしました。地方のスーパーマケットに行くと、珍しい食材を見つけることができます。今回、私たちはお米を買うことにしました。東京では買えないお米、美味しいことでしょう。高速道路で帰る途中、サービスエリアで一休みしました。ツバメの巣にはもう子ツバメの姿が見えました。

幸い、雨が降る天気ではなく、軽井沢での一日を過ごすことができています。ハルニエテラスに行ってみました。梅雨の季節のデコレーションでしょうか、傘が吊るされていて、思わず写真を撮ってしまいます。平日は人出が少ないのでのんびりとそして安全に過ごすことができます。森の中を散策してからベーカリーのテラスでコーヒータイムとしました。近くにこのような所があったら毎日来てしまう。と言った妻に、たまに来るから新鮮で良いんだよ、きっと。と応えてしまいました。いつもならクルミは眠っている時間でしたが、今日は外に連れ回しています。夜は熟睡のことでしょう。

After walking in the forest, we had coffee time on the terrace of the bakery. If there is such a place nearby, I will come every day that my wife said. I’m sure it’s okay to be nice because we come here once in a while that I said to her. Normally Kurumi was sleeping, but today I’m taking him outside. He will be a deep sleep at night I am sure.

緊急事態宣言が解除されていることを予測して軽井沢へのドライブを計画していました。残念ながら緊急事態宣言は延長されてしまいましたが、ドライブを決行することとしました。宿泊施設でも感染対策が十分に行われていますし、人が多く集まる所へいくこともありません。たまにはのんびり、家事から開放されたくなりました。途中、清里高原に寄って、エレンさんを訪ねました。先週の金曜にワンコとお別れしたという悲しい知らせを聞きました。私たちだから話せると言っていただいたことを嬉しく思います。クルミは移動で少し疲れたかも知れません。早めに夕食にします。

夜通し Windows update を走らせておいて、朝から再起動させました。すると、次の Update が始まりました。Windows の更新には手間がかかります。特に会社のパソコンだと、グループポリシーとかがあり、自宅からでも VPN 接続をしないと更新ソフトを入れることができません。今回の更新は会社の環境にいると長時間かかるので、全員のパソコンが更新されるのはいつになるか分かりません。今日は自宅で仕事をしていました。散歩に出る以外は家の中でしたが、クルミと遊ぶ時間も短い一日になってしまいました。

This update takes a long time in the company environment, so I don’t know when everyone’s computer will be updated. I was working from home today. I was at home except for a walk, but I had a short day playing with Kurumi.

クルミはトリミングとシャンプーの日でした。前回から 5 週間経過していたのでさっぱりしました。クルミは比較的犬の匂いを持っていて、少し気になっていました。さっぱりして、でも疲れたようです。これから暑くなるので次回は 4 週間後に予約をしてきました。会社のパソコンを自宅に持ち帰りました。Windows のアップデートに時間がかかっているので、家で電源を入れたまま、しばらく様子を見ようと思います。今回のアップデートは時間が長くかかる人が多いようで、ネットでも苦労されている記事を見ることができました。

クルミはイチゴの香りが分かるようで、イチゴが実ると近くに寄っていきます。今日のデザートにこのイチゴを食べさせてやります。犬に与えて良い果物としてイチゴ、りんごなどがあり、クルミは大好きです。TENGU Coffee のオーナーと話していて、タケヤのコーヒージャーを Amazon で購入することにしました。水出しコーヒーを手軽に作れます。密閉できるので、このまま横にして冷蔵庫に入れられるのが嬉しいです。抽出には 8 時間程度が必要と思われますので、明日の朝が楽しみです。

Strawberries and apples are good fruits to give to dogs, and Kurumi loves them. I was talking to the owner of TENGU Coffee and decided to buy a Takeya coffee jar through Amazon. I can easily make watered coffee. It can be sealed, so I’m happy that it can be placed in the refrigerator as it is. It will take about 8 hours to extract, so I’m looking forward to tomorrow morning.
