台風 14 号が日本に接近してきている影響がここにも少しずつ出始めています。今日は曇っていましたが、時折陽もでる、そして雨になる、目まぐるしく天気が変わる日でした。クルミとの時間は長くは取れませんでしたが、それでも庭に出たり、抱っこしてやったりする時間が持てました。このところ、連日の深夜業務です。明日はお休みをいただきます。

The impact of Typhoon No. 14 approaching Japan is beginning to appear here as well. It was cloudy today, but it was a day of rapid weather changes, with occasional sunlight and rain. I didn’t have a long time with Kurumi, but we still had time to go out to the garden and hug him. Recently, I have been working late at night every day. I will take a rest tomorrow.

朝、庭に出たらいい香りが漂ってきました。庭の金柑が開花しています。少し前にも花を見た思いがして、調べてみました。金柑は春、夏、秋に開花の時期を持っていることがわかりました。毎年、庭で見ているのですが、今更ながらに金柑のことを知る機会となりました。秋に咲いた花の後にできる実が果実となっていきます。クルミとの時間は今日も短くてごめんなさい。明日は少し長く、クルミと遊んであげようと思います。

When I went out to the garden in the morning, there was a nice scent. Kumquats in the garden are in bloom. I thought I saw a flower a while ago, so I looked it up. I now understood that kumquat has flowering seasons in spring, summer and autumn. I see it in the garden every year, and it was an opportunity to learn about kumquat. The fruits that form after the flowers that bloom in autumn become fruits. I’m sorry that the time with Kurumi was short today. I will play with him for a little longer tomorrow.

今朝もクルミは 4 時に起きてきました。私たちの寝室にあるクルミのベッドが気に入らないのか、リビングルームのソファーに連れて行くと、そのまま朝まで眠ります。私もベッドに戻って眠るのですが、こんな日が続いています。今日は会社で仕事、クルミとの時間が少ない日でした。夕食を終えると、クルミがやってきます。私たちの行動をよくわかっています。優しく抱っこしてやりました。

Kurumi got up at 4 o’clock this morning as well. He seems not like to sleep his bed in our bedroom, so I take him to the sofa in the living room and he slept until morning. I also go back to bed and slept, this situation has been continuing these days. Today was a day I worked at a company office and had little time with Kurumi. After dinner, Kurumi came to my side. He knows what we are doing. I hugged him gently.

クルミの爪が伸びてきたので切ってやることにしました。クルミはいつもおとなしく、私に爪を切らせます。これまでにチャオ、クッキー、プリンと 3 頭の犬を飼ってきましたが、おとなしく爪を切らせるのはチャオでした。ヨークシャテリアの爪は黒いので慎重になります。血管を切ってしまうとかわいそうです。私はスーパーマーケットで見つけたビンビールを夕食時に楽しみました。サッポロの赤ラベルはとても好きなビールです。さぁ、明日からの一週間も楽しく過ごせることを願っています。

Kurumi’s nails are growing, so I decided to cut them. Kurumi is always gentle and make me cut his nails. I’ve had three dogs before, Chao, Cookie, and Purin, only Chao she was also gently me cut her nails. The Yorkshire Terrier’s nails are black so be careful. I feel sorry when I cut the blood vessels. I enjoyed the bottled beer I found at the grocery store for dinner. Sapporo’s red label is my favorite beer. I hope we can enjoy the week from tomorrow.

妻と私はテニススクールの日でした。週末の土曜日、今週は連日仕事の毎日だったので、久しぶりにのんびりできます。気温は高くなかったのですが、湿度が高く、テニスではたっぷりと汗をかいてしまいました。夜は外食で行きつけのレストランへ行きました。クルミは何度か家でひとりぼっちになってしまい、夜は私と一緒にテレビを見ていました。そして、いつの間にか眠っていました。

My wife and I had a tennis school today. Saturday of the weekend, this week was a day of work, so I can relax today. The temperature wasn’t high, but the humidity was high and I sweated a lot in tennis. At night, we went out for dinner at our favorite restaurant. Kurumi was left alone at home several times and watched TV with me at night. And he was asleep while I was watching TV program.

今日は例年の気温に戻り、30℃ 近くまで気温が上がりました。夕方、少し陽が影ってからクルミを連れて近くの公園まで散歩しました。長い自分の影が面白いのか、少しの間、立ち止まっていました。日本政府は緊急事態宣言の延長を決めました。そして、宣言解除後の方向について議論を始めています。それによると 11 月までは今のような窮屈な生活が続きそうです。完全に元に戻ることは無いことを覚悟していますが、少しでも自由に旅行や飲食ができるようになることを願って止みません。

Today, the temperature has returned to the usual temperature and has risen to nearly 30 degrees Celsius. In the evening, after the sun was a little dark, I took a walk with Kurumi to a nearby park. He stopped for a while, perhaps because his long shadow was interesting. The Government of Japan has decided to extend the state of emergency. And they are starting to discuss the direction after the state is lifted. According to it, the cramped life as it is now is likely to continue until November. I am sure never return to the original state, but I hope that we will be able to travel, eat and drink as much as we can soon.

今週は休みの日がありません。今日も自宅で勤務の一日でした。午後、少し休める時間があったのでクルミを連れて散歩しました。クルミは久しぶりに外に出ることができて嬉しそうに歩いていました。散歩の途中で学校帰りの小学生に会いました。犬が可愛いと、クルミを可愛がってくれました。クルミもおとなしくしていました。今日は疲れたのかクルミは夕食後私の横で眠ってしまいました。

There are no days off this week. I was working at home today as well. In the afternoon, I had some time to rest, so I took a walk with Kurumi. He was able to go out for the first time in a long time and was walking happily. During the walk, we met an elementary school student returning from school. She pets Kurumi lovely. Kurumi was also quiet. Did he get tired today? Kurumi fell asleep beside me after dinner.

今日は 3 ヶ月毎に定期検診を受けている眼科に行きました。眼底検査をするために瞳を開く処置が行われます。半日は眩しくてしかたありません。車も運転できないので今日は駅まで歩いて久しぶりに電車に乗りました。午前中は天気が良かったのですが、午後からは曇ってきて、雨も降る天気になりました。クルミは今日も多くの時間をお気に入りのソファーで過ごしています。私は今週は業務の毎日です。ゆっくりとクルミと過ごす時間が取れず、残念です。

Today I went to an ophthalmologist for my regular checkups every three months. A procedure is performed to open the eyes to perform a fundus examination. Thus half a day is dazzling my eyes. I can’t drive a car, so today I walked to the station and got on the train that I didn’t use for awhile. The weather was nice in the morning, but it became cloudy and rainy in the afternoon. Kurumi spends a lot of time on his favorite sofas today. I work every day this week. I’m sorry I didn’t have enough time to spend time with Kurumi.

今日は良い天気になるかと思ったのですが、晴れ間は少しだけでした。でも雨は降ることがなく、外に出ることができました。私は今日も自宅で仕事をしました。コロナ禍で多くの人が自宅で仕事をしています。会社に行く機会が減って、車を運転する機会も減ってしまいました。この先もリモートで働くことで業務が遂行できるのなら、会社の事務所に行く必要はありません。でも、一緒に働く人と顔を合わせることができないのは少し寂しいものです。クルミは今朝も早起きでした。

I was wondering if the weather would be fine today, but there were only a few sunny time. But it didn’t rain and I was able to get out. I worked from home today as well. Many people work from home because of the corona situation. I have less chance to go to work and less chance to drive a car. We now don’t have to go to the office of the company if we can continue to work remotely. But it’s a little lonely that I can’t meet the people I work with. Kurumi got up early this morning as well.

今日も雨が降る肌寒い一日となりました。例年よりも 5℃ 以上低い日が続いているので低温注意報が出ました。ついこの前まで酷暑で、エアコンがフル稼働していたのですが、この気温の急変には驚きです。今日は自宅で勤務していたのでクルミとの時間は夕方までとれませんでした。おもちゃがソファーから落ちたので、拾えとでも言うように吠えていました。

It was a chilly day with rain today. Since the days have been lower than usual by 5 ℃ or more, a low temperature warning was issued. It was extremely hot until recently, and the air conditioner was operating at full capacity, but I am surprised at this sudden change in temperature. I was working from home today, so I couldn’t get time with Kurumi until the evening. The toy fell off the sofa, and he was barking me to pick it up.
