今日はまた薪ストーブの出番になってしまいました。朝から小雨が降る寒い一日です。昨日、桜が満開になったのですが、季節は冬に逆戻りです。でも桜の花を少し長く楽しめるかも知れません。桜が咲く時期は常にこのような寒さがやってきます。私は会社に行ってシステム障害の対応状況を把握してきました。全社員のパソコンに診断用のアプリケーションがインストールされ始めていました。私にも会社から貸与されているので、そこにもインストールしてきました。復旧までにはまだまだ時間を要しそうです。個人のレベルではないので大きな事件になってきています。

Today it’s time for the wood stove to warm room again. It is a cold day with light rain since this morning. Yesterday, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, but the season is back to winter. But we may be able to enjoy the cherry blossoms a little longer. This kind of cold weather always comes during the cherry blossom season. I went to the office to assess the status of the response to the system failure. Diagnostic applications had begun to be installed on all employees’ computers. The company has loaned me one as well, so I have installed it there as well. It is still going to take some time to recover the business. This is becoming a major incident as it is not on a personal level.

今日もまだ業務先のネットワークに接続できないので休業日としました。プレスでも発表されているのですが、復旧にはまだ時間がかかりそうです。パソコンに入り込んだウィルスを除去するまで業務は再開できないようです。会社は大変な損害を被ってしまいました。今日は午後から天気が回復する予報だったのでクルミくんを連れてお花見に出かけました。しかし、天気は回復せず、小雨まで降り始めてしまいました。そんな天気でしたが、多くの人が桜の花を楽しんでいました。

Today is another day off because I still cannot connect to the network of business. It has been announced in the press, but it seems that it will still take some time to recover. It seems that business cannot be resumed until the virus that got into the computer is removed. The company has suffered serious damage. The weather was forecast to recover this afternoon, so I took Kurumi out to see cherry blossoms. However, the weather did not recover and it even started to drizzle. Despite the weather, many people were enjoying the cherry blossoms.

クルミくんは年に一度の法定伝染病、狂犬病の予防ワクチン接種を受けてきました。いつもは注射で痛がったことはないのですが、今日は針を刺した瞬間に痛がっていました。日本に住む限り法律に従わなければなりません。今日はアレルギー反応が出ないように見守って、安静にしています。気温が低く、小雨が続く一日だったので、薪ストーブを使ってしまいました。今週は契約先の会社で発生したシステム障害が続いているために業務が停止しています。全世界にいる社員全てのパソコンに対策を施す必要があるようです。大変なことです。

Kurumi got his annual rabies vaccination, a statutory contagious disease. Normally, he has never been in pain from the injection, but today he was in pain the moment the needle was inserted. As long as we live in Japan, we must obey the law. Today I am watching over him to make sure he does not have an allergic reaction, and he is resting. It was a day of cool temperatures and light rain, so I used the wood stove. This week, work have been suspended due to the ongoing system failure that occurred at my contractor’s company. It seems that all computers of all employees worldwide need to be countermeasure. It is a tough task.

駅に行く途中にあるお寺の枝垂れ桜も綺麗に咲き始めました。そして、庭の巣箱に小鳥が巣を作り始めたようです。数日前から囀っていた鳥のようです。出たり入ったりを繰り返しています。巣箱をつけたのは数年前だったのですが、やっと住んでくれる鳥が現れて私は嬉しくて仕方ありません。クルミくんは今日も元気にしています。

The weeping cherry trees at the temple on the way to the station have begun to bloom beautifully. And it seems that a small bird has begun to nest in a birdhouse in the garden. It seems to be a bird that has been singing for several days. It is repeatedly coming in and out of the box. It had been several years since we put up the box, but I am so happy that a bird finally appeared to live in it. Kurumi is doing well today.

昨日は初夏のような気温でしたが、今日はまた春に戻り、気持ちの良い一日でした。家の近くの公園の桜も咲き始めました。今日は妻が外出していたので、クルミくんと一緒に家で過ごしています。クルミくんは眠り出すと少しくらい邪魔しても起きません。そしてお腹が空くと起き出してきて騒ぎます。お腹がいっぱいになるとオモチャで遊んで、そしてまた眠ってしまいました。

Yesterday the temperature was like early summer, but today it is back to spring again, and it was a pleasant day. The cherry blossoms in the park near our house have started to bloom. My wife was out of town today, so I stayed home with Kurumi. Once Kurumi falls asleep, he does not wake up even if I disturb him for a little while. When he gets hungry, he wakes up and makes a fuss. When he is full, he plays with his toys and then falls asleep again.

ガレージのオーバーオーバードアを開閉するリモートコントローラーが使い辛かったので、WiFi 経由で制御できるような工夫を施してみました。WiFi で 4 つのリレーを制御できるモジュールを入手して、ガレージの手動スイッチに接続しました。これで遠隔でも操作できるので、閉め忘れた時でも安心です。ガレージには防犯カメラもありますから開閉の状態を監視することができます。今日も初夏のような暖かい日でした。陽が影ってきた時間にクルミくんを庭に出してやりました。芝生に緑色が戻ってきています。

The remote controller that opens and closes the garage overdoor was hard to use sometime, so I made a connection to control it via WiFi. I got a module that can control 4 relays via WiFi and connected it to the manual switch in the garage. This allows me to control it remotely, even if I forget to close it. There is also a security camera in the garage so I can monitor the opening and closing status. Today was another warm day like early summer. I took Kurumi out in the garden when the sun was shining. The lawn is starting to look green again.

今日は初夏のような気温になりました。この暖かさで虫や鳥も賑やかになってきました。電柱に止まった小鳥は朝から囀っていてます。まるでパートナーを探しているかのようでした。私は車を洗って、窓ガラスにコーティング処理を施してみました。フロントガラスは諦めました。取扱説明書には「輸入車には施工しないこと」と記載されています。ワイパーの構造が異なるのでビビり音が出てしまうそうです。クルミくんはお腹が空くと、餌をもらうまで妻の顔を見続けています。そして食べ終わると眠ってしまいます。今日も元気に過ごしています。

Today the temperature is like early summer. Insects and birds have become more lively with this warmth. A small bird perched at a pole has been singing since this morning. It was as if it was looking for a partner. I washed my car and gave the windows a coating treatment. I gave up on the front glass. The instruction manual states, “Do not apply to imported cars.” They say that the structure of the wiper is different and it makes a chattering sound. When Kurumi gets hungry, he keeps looking at my wife’s face until he gets food. Then, when he finishes eating, he goes to sleep. He is doing well today.

明け方は暴風雨に見舞われました。各地で強風による影響が出たようです。家の窓は雨に叩きつけられてびしょ濡れです。そんな天気も昼過ぎから急速に回復しました。気温も急上昇して桜も咲き始めています。暖かさに誘われて近くの公園までカメラを持って出かけました。クルミくんも久しぶりに公園を歩いて嬉しそうでした。

At dawn, we were hit by a storm. It seems that strong winds affected many places. The windows of my house were drenched from the rain. The weather recovered quickly after noon. The temperature has risen sharply and the cherry blossoms are beginning to bloom. Invited by the warmth, I took my camera to a nearby park. Kurumi looked happy to walk in the park for the first time in a while.

クルミくんはとても寂しがりやになってしまいました。短い時間でも一人でいることができずに、私たちを探し回っています。このように育ててしまった私たちに責任があるかも知れません。でも、クルミくんは 14 歳を越した老犬、これからも甘えさせてやろうと思います。今日は隣の県にある会社の工場で仕事をしてきました。片道 70km のほとんどは高速道路で行けるので助かります。大きな渋滞もなく、安心しました。

Kurumi has become very lonely. He cannot be alone even for a short time and is always looking for us. We may be responsible for raising him like this. But Kurumi is an old dog over 14 years old, and we will continue to spoil him. Today I went to work at a factory of a company in the next prefecture. Most of the 70 km one-way trip can be done on the expressway, which is a big help. There was no major traffic jam, which was a relief.

今日は朝から快晴、太陽の暖かさがありがたい一日でした。この気温で桜も咲き始めたようです。庭の水仙も花を咲かせました。今日も事務所に行って仕事をしていたので、ゆっくりと外を歩くことはできませんでした。明日からまた天気が悪くなるようです。週末は公園に桜を見に行けることを願っています。クルミくんは今日も元気に遊んでいました。

Today was a clear and sunny morning, and we were thankful for the warmth of the sun. With this temperature, the cherry blossoms seem to have started blooming. The daffodils in my garden have also bloomed. I went to the office to work today, so I was not able to take a leisurely walk outside. The weather is going to get worse again tomorrow. I hope we can go to the park this weekend to see the cherry blossoms. Kurumi was playing energetically today.
