美味しいパンとコーヒーの店が近くにあります。家から歩いて 10 分程度のところなのですが、今日は臨時休業でした。出かける前に確認していけば良かったのですが、残念でした。Anniversary の飾り付けがあるので開店 2 周年記念なのかも知れません。明日は定休日なので、明後日、また来てみます。クルミは今日も元気で遊んでいました。朝から天気が悪く、冬みたいな気温まで下がってしまい、今日は暖房を入れてしまいました。クルミはお気に入りの毛布を出してもらってご機嫌でした。

A delicious bread and nice coffee shop is nearby. It’s about 10 minutes walk from my house, but it was temporarily closed today. I should have checked it before going out, but I was disappointed. It may be the 2nd anniversary of the opening of the store because it is decorated with Anniversary. Tomorrow is a regular holiday, so I’ll come back the day after tomorrow again. Kurumi was still playing well today. The weather was bad from the morning, and the temperature dropped to winter, so I turned on the heating today. Kurumi was in a good mood with his favorite blanket.

クルミは今日、トリミングに行ってきました。今日は少しトリマーさんを困らせたようです。最近、甘ったれが激しいクルミです。毎日、一緒にいるのでクルミは少しわがままになってしまいました。ハロウィン柄のバンダナを着けてもらってご機嫌のクルミです。

Kurumi went to trim today. It seems that the trimmer was a little annoyed today. Recently, Kurumi is spoiling a lot. So he is little selfish because we are together every day. It is a a good mood for him to wear a bandana with a Halloween pattern anyhow.

北海道では初雪が観測されました。今日は天気も悪く寒いくらいの日でした。気持ちが良かった秋は短く、もうすぐ寒い冬がやってきます。天気が悪いからかクルミのご機嫌も悪い日でした。少しでも離れていると吠えて私たちを困らせました。それでも食事中はおとなしくしているので助かります。外に出ることもできなかったので欲求不満だったのかも知れません。私たちがソファーに座ってテレビを見ていたら、安心したのかすぐに眠ってしまいました。

The first snow was observed in Hokkaido. Today was a cold day with bad weather. Autumn is short and cold winter is coming soon. Kurumi was in a bad mood, probably because of the bad weather. He bothered us by barking when we were even a little away. Still, it helps because he is quiet during our dinner time. Maybe he was frustrated because he couldn’t even go out. When we were sitting on the sofa and watching TV, Kurumi fell asleep soon because he was relieved.

今日はクルミは一人で家にいる時間が長くつまらなそうでした。私たちが外出している間、クルミはケージの中に一人ぽっちになってしまいます。外出している私たちも早く家に帰ってあげようといつも考えてしまいます。帰宅してからクルミとたくさん遊ぶことができました。明日は天気が悪いようですが、少しの時間でも庭で遊べるといいですね。

Today, Kurumi seemed to be boring for a long time at home alone. While we are out, he is left alone in the cage. Even when we are out, we always think about getting home early. After I got home, I was able to play a lot with Kurumi. It looks like the weather will be bad tomorrow, but I hope we can play in the garden even for a little time.

朝起きるとまだ暗い季節になってきました。今朝はクルミと早くに起きてしまいました。私はそのまま東の空が薄らと明るくなってくるまで歩いてみました。今日も終日仕事をしていたのでクルミとはあまり時間が取れませんでした。明日は入荷した防犯カメラを車庫に取り付けてみようと思います。楽しみです。

When I woke up in the morning, it was still a dark this season. I got up early this morning with Kurumi. I just walked until the eastern sky became bright. I was working all day today, so I didn’t have much time with him. Tomorrow, I will try to install the security camera that have arrived today. I’m looking forward to it how effective.

今日は妻の妹が遊びにきました。彼女の家族は 2 週間前に新しい家に引っ越した後で、話すことがたくさんありました。引越しのお祝いにと、一緒に照明器具を選びました。配達を待って、新居に行ってみましょう。クルミは今日も元気に遊んでいました。

My wife’s sister came to here today. Her family had a lot to talk to after moving to a new home two weeks ago. We chose lighting equipment together to celebrate the move. Let’s wait for delivery and go to their new house. Kurumi was playing well today as well.

今日は少し遠くのショッピングモールにクルミを連れていきました。二人乗りの車ですから、妻がクルミを抱いて行くことにしました。途中、妻もクルミもうたた寝しているのを横目で見ながら、少し涼しくなったのでヒーターを入れた車内でほんわかとした時を過ごすことができました。スーパーではスマホを使って商品のバーコードを自分で読み取る、そんな新しい設備が導入されていました。レジでは待ち時間がほとんど無く支払うことができました。正しくバーコードを読み取っていることを信頼しているところが少し心配になりました。クルミは寒くなったのか、今日もよく眠っています。

Today we went to a shopping mall a little far away from my home with Kurumi. I used my two-seater car, so my wife decided to hold Kurumi in her hand. On the way, while watching my wife nap with Kurumi, it became a little cooler, so I was able to spend a relaxing time in the car with the heater on. At the supermarkets, such new equipment was introduced that allows customer to scan the barcode of a product one’s self using a smartphone. I was able to pay at the cashier with almost no waiting time. I was a little worried that customer trusted to read the barcode correctly. Kurumi is sleeping well today, probably because it has become cold.

クルミの目を見ているととても癒されます。時には何かを訴えるように私を見つめています。今日の午前中はクルミとリビングで過ごしました。クルミの目は白内障が進んできていて陽が入る部屋では彼の目は白く見えます。私のことはちゃんと見えていますか？と問いかけたら、見えてますよ、と応えたように見つめてくれました。

Looking at the Kurumi’s eyes is soothing. Sometimes he’s staring at me to sue something. I spent this morning in the living room with him. Kurumi’s eyes look white in a sunlighten room with advanced cataracts. Do you see me properly? When I asked him, he stared at me as if he answered that he could see me well.

クルミはいつものように早起きして私を起こしました。下のリビングに連れていってしばらくソファーで一緒にいてやるとそのまま眠ってしまいました。私はそれからもう一度ベッドに潜り込んで朝の 6 時まで眠ることができました。クルミはどうして 2 階にある自分のベッドが好きではないのかわかりません。でももうこの年齢ですから気の済むようにしてやろうと思います。今日から新しい一週間が始まりました。今週も楽しく過ごしたいと思います。

Kurumi got up early as usual and woke me up. When I took him to the living room downstair and stayed with him on the sofa for a while, he fell asleep. I was then able to go into bed again and sleep until 6am. I don’t know why Kurumi doesn’t like his bed upstairs. But he is this age, so I’ll try to get rid of him. A new week has begun today. We want to have a good time this week as well.

朝から降っていた小雨は午後に上がりました。雲ひとつない快晴となって気持ちの良い午後を過ごすことができました。スーパーマーケットにクルミと一緒に出かけました。テラスがあるのでそこでランチにしようと思ったのですが、このテラスはペット連れは使えないということで残念でした。しかたが無いのでベンチでのんびりして帰りました。

The light rain that had been falling since the morning ends in the afternoon. It was a cloudless sunny day and I was able to spend a pleasant afternoon. We went to the supermarket with Kurumi. Since there is a terrace, I thought we would have lunch there, but I was disappointed that this terrace cannot be used with pets. We had no choice but to relax on the bench and went back home.
