今日も午後からは冷たい雨が降り始めました。それでも午前中は青空を見ることができました。仕事を始める前に少し歩きました。今年の筍はとても高く育っています。散歩から帰って、クルミを庭に出してやりました。私は今日も自宅で仕事の一日でした。自宅で仕事をしていると昼休みに家事ができます。今日は緩んできた鍋の取手を修理しました。そろそろ寿命を迎えています。

It started to rain cold this afternoon as well. I could see the blue sky in the morning however. I walked a little before I started work. This year’s bamboo shoots are growing very high already. After returning from the walk, I took Kurumi out to the garden. I had a day of work at home today as well. If I work from home, I can do housework during the lunch break. I repaired the handle of the pot that had become loose today. Both the pot and glasses are about to reach the end of their life.

私が住むこの地域の梅雨入りが報告されました。これから 1 ヶ月、雨の季節となります。今日は朝から冷たい雨の一日でした。気温も 15 ℃までしか上がらず、4 月に戻った気分です。クルミは外で遊ぶことができずつまらなそうにしていました。私も一日中、机での仕事の退屈な一日でした。

It was reported that it started a rainy season in this area where I live. It will be rainy season for the next month or so. Today was a cold rainy day from the morning. The temperature has only risen to 15 degrees Celsius, and I feel like I’m back in April. Kurumi was boring because he could not play outside. I also had a boring day working at my desk all day long.

今年は高専制度ができて 60 年になる年です。私も息子も最終学歴は高専となります。中学を卒業して 5 年間、専門技術を学んで社会に出ました。大学でもっと深く学ぶことは望まず、早く社会に出ることを希望しました。卒業して社会人として 43 年会社に勤めることができました。退職後も未だに少しですが、社会に貢献させていただいています。高専制度は今、海外でも人気が出てきていることを知りました。今日は雨になる予報でしたが夕方まで降らず、クルミと今日も庭で遊ぶことができました。

This year is the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the technical college KOSEN system. Both I and my son have a final academic background of technical college KOSEN. After graduating from junior high school, I learned specialized techniques for five years and went out into society. I didn’t want to study more deeply at university, I wanted to get out into society sooner. After graduating, I was able to work for the company for 43 years as a member of society. Even after I retired, I am still contributing to society, although it is still a little. I learned that the technical college KOSEN system is now becoming popular in other countries as well. It was forecast that it would rain today, but it didn’t rain until the evening, and I was able to play with Kurumi in the garden today.

8 年間使ってきたメガネのフレームが折れていることに気づきました。かけていると違和感を感じていたのはこれが原因かも知れません。メガネ屋に行き修理をお願いしたのですが、不可能と言われてしまいました。レンズの度数も合わなくなってきたので、新調することとしました。今日はテニススクールが無い土曜となりクルミと多くの時間を持つことができました。さっぱりした庭で遊んで、楽しい午後を過ごしました。

I noticed that the frame of the glasses I had been using for 8 years was broken. This may be the reason why I felt uncomfortable when I was wearing it. I went to an eyeglass shop and asked for repairs, but the owner said that it was impossible. Since the optical power of the lens is not suitable, so I decided to make a new one. Today the tennis school is off and I had a lot of time with Kurumi. We had a good afternoon playing in the cleaned garden.

今日は午後から雨になるようなので午前中に庭仕事をしました。芝の雑草を抜いて、芝を短く刈りました。蒸し暑く、汗をかいてしまいました。庭のラベンダーが咲き始めています。芝を刈ると鳥が飛んできて虫を啄んでいます。今日は久しぶりに友人との夕食会です。コロナウイルスの感染が始まってから会っていませんでした。気の知れた友人との再会、とても楽しみです。クルミとの時間が取れない日になってしまいました。

It seems to rain from the afternoon today, so I worked in the garden in the morning. Weeds on the lawn were pulled out and the lawn was cut short. It was hot and humid and I sweated. Lavender in the garden is beginning to bloom. When I mow the lawn, birds fly and sing insects. Today is a dinner party with friends for the first time in a long time. I haven’t seen them since the coronavirus infection started. I’m really looking forward to reuniting with a well-known friend. I don’t have much time with Kurumi sorry to him.

昨日はクルミが髪を切って、今日は私が髪を切りに行きました。最近は 2, 3 ヶ月に一度の頻度になってしまいました。朝の散歩では朝陽に輝く緑を楽しむことができました。今日もクルミと楽しく過ごすことができました。

Kurumi cut his hair yesterday and today I went to cut my hair. Recently, it has become a frequency of once every few months. During the morning walk, I was able to enjoy the greenery shining in the morning sun. I had a good time with Kurumi today.

クルミは新しい服を着せてもらってご機嫌の一日でした。トリミングでは少し動いてトリマーさんを困らせたようです。クルミは顔の近くにハサミが来ると怖がってしまうようです。私は一日中、書斎で仕事をしていました。クルミも私も疲れて、夕食後はぐったりしてしまいました。

Kurumi was in a good mood with new clothes. Kurumi moved little while he is getting trimming and bothered the trimmer. Kurumi seems to be scared when scissors come near his faces. I worked in my office all day long. Both Kurumi and I were tired and tired after dinner.

クルミが寂しがるようになったのは私たちが可愛がり過ぎたためと理解しています。しかし、クルミはもう 12歳を超えた老犬です。思い切り可愛がってやろうと思います。クルミはいつでも誰かと一緒にいないと心配な犬に育ってしまいました。しかし、私たちが食事をしている間は一人でおとなしくしています。そして、食事が終わるとテーブルまで来て抱き上げるように甘えます。食後、クルミを連れてショッピングにでかけました。ここはクルミも一緒に売り場に入れます。カートの中で歩いているように跳ねていました。

I understand that Kurumi has become lonely because we are too cute him. However, Kurumi is old dogs over 12 years already. We are going to love him as much as we can. Kurumi has grown up to be worried dogs if he is not always with someone. However, he is quiet alone while we are eating. Then, when the meal is over, Kurumi can come to the table and asks pick him up. After eating, we went shopping with him. Kurumi is also able to be at the sales floor here. He was bouncing like walking in a cart.

今朝の散歩ではブルーベリーの木に実がたくさん付いているのを見つけました。ウチの庭にあるジュンベリーの木にも気づくと赤い実が成っています。今日は庭師の方に来ていただき、庭の手入れをお願いしました。枯れてしまったオリーブの木を切ってもらいました。若い芽が伸びてきているので、これから大切に育てたいと思います。クルミは帰宅すると庭に出てきて迎えてくれました。

On my walk this morning, I found a lot of fruits on the blueberry tree. When I notice the Junberry tree in my garden, it has red fruits. I asked a gardener to come and take care of the garden today. He had cut a dead olive tree. Young shoots are growing, so we would like to take good care of them from now on. When I came home, Kurumi came out to the garden and welcomed me.

今日も朝から快晴の良い天気でした。燕がたくさん飛んでいます。ヒナの巣立ちと思います。周りの燕が集まって声援を送っています。巣立つ瞬間は見ることができませんでしたが、無事に飛び立ったことと思います。今日は息子がシンガポールに変える日。クルミも一緒に成田まで送っていきました。気温が高い日でしたが、エアコンの効く車内は快適でした。90% で出発して帰宅時の電池残量は 40% でした。往復 260km を 50% の消費で走破できました。徐々に電気自動車との付き合い方がわかってきています。

It was a fine day from the morning today. A lot of swallows are flying. I think it’s a fledgling of chicks. Swallows around are gathering and cheering. I couldn’t see the moment when they left the nest, but I think they took off safely. Today is the day my son will back to Singapore. We went to Narita with Kurumi saying goodbye. It was a hot day, but the air-conditioned in the car was comfortable. When I left at 90% and returned home, the battery level was 40%. I was able to complete 260 km round trip with 50% consumption. Gradually, I’m starting to understand how to use to be with electric vehicles.
