今日は妻の妹が遊びにきました。彼女の家族は 2 週間前に新しい家に引っ越した後で、話すことがたくさんありました。引越しのお祝いにと、一緒に照明器具を選びました。配達を待って、新居に行ってみましょう。クルミは今日も元気に遊んでいました。
My wife’s sister came to here today. Her family had a lot to talk to after moving to a new home two weeks ago. We chose lighting equipment together to celebrate the move. Let’s wait for delivery and go to their new house. Kurumi was playing well today as well.
今日は少し遠くのショッピングモールにクルミを連れていきました。二人乗りの車ですから、妻がクルミを抱いて行くことにしました。途中、妻もクルミもうたた寝しているのを横目で見ながら、少し涼しくなったのでヒーターを入れた車内でほんわかとした時を過ごすことができました。スーパーではスマホを使って商品のバーコードを自分で読み取る、そんな新しい設備が導入されていました。レジでは待ち時間がほとんど無く支払うことができました。正しくバーコードを読み取っていることを信頼しているところが少し心配になりました。クルミは寒くなったのか、今日もよく眠っています。
Today we went to a shopping mall a little far away from my home with Kurumi. I used my two-seater car, so my wife decided to hold Kurumi in her hand. On the way, while watching my wife nap with Kurumi, it became a little cooler, so I was able to spend a relaxing time in the car with the heater on. At the supermarkets, such new equipment was introduced that allows customer to scan the barcode of a product one’s self using a smartphone. I was able to pay at the cashier with almost no waiting time. I was a little worried that customer trusted to read the barcode correctly. Kurumi is sleeping well today, probably because it has become cold.
クルミの目を見ているととても癒されます。時には何かを訴えるように私を見つめています。今日の午前中はクルミとリビングで過ごしました。クルミの目は白内障が進んできていて陽が入る部屋では彼の目は白く見えます。私のことはちゃんと見えていますか？と問いかけたら、見えてますよ、と応えたように見つめてくれました。
Looking at the Kurumi’s eyes is soothing. Sometimes he’s staring at me to sue something. I spent this morning in the living room with him. Kurumi’s eyes look white in a sunlighten room with advanced cataracts. Do you see me properly? When I asked him, he stared at me as if he answered that he could see me well.
クルミはいつものように早起きして私を起こしました。下のリビングに連れていってしばらくソファーで一緒にいてやるとそのまま眠ってしまいました。私はそれからもう一度ベッドに潜り込んで朝の 6 時まで眠ることができました。クルミはどうして 2 階にある自分のベッドが好きではないのかわかりません。でももうこの年齢ですから気の済むようにしてやろうと思います。今日から新しい一週間が始まりました。今週も楽しく過ごしたいと思います。
Kurumi got up early as usual and woke me up. When I took him to the living room downstair and stayed with him on the sofa for a while, he fell asleep. I was then able to go into bed again and sleep until 6am. I don’t know why Kurumi doesn’t like his bed upstairs. But he is this age, so I’ll try to get rid of him. A new week has begun today. We want to have a good time this week as well.
朝から降っていた小雨は午後に上がりました。雲ひとつない快晴となって気持ちの良い午後を過ごすことができました。スーパーマーケットにクルミと一緒に出かけました。テラスがあるのでそこでランチにしようと思ったのですが、このテラスはペット連れは使えないということで残念でした。しかたが無いのでベンチでのんびりして帰りました。
The light rain that had been falling since the morning ends in the afternoon. It was a cloudless sunny day and I was able to spend a pleasant afternoon. We went to the supermarket with Kurumi. Since there is a terrace, I thought we would have lunch there, but I was disappointed that this terrace cannot be used with pets. We had no choice but to relax on the bench and went back home.
オリーブの木の元気が無くなってきました。良く見ると木肌に穴が開いています。カミキリムシの幼虫がまた来てしまったようです。殺虫剤を噴霧してみました。どうも土の中に幼虫が隠れているようです。定期的に殺虫剤を使わないといけません。クルミとの週末、たくさん遊ぶことができました。明日は天気が良ければ一緒に買い物に行こうと思います。
The olive tree is getting bad. If I look closely, there are some holes in the wood surface. It seems that the longhorn beetle larva has come again. I sprayed an insecticide. It seems that the larva is hiding in the soil. I have to use pesticides on a regular basis. I was able to play a lot on the weekend with Kurumi today. If the weather is nice tomorrow, we will go shopping together.
最近オープンしたカフェにクルミと一緒に行きました。平日の昼時でしたが多くの人で賑わっていて、テラス席は 1 テーブルだけ空いていました。今日も良い天気となり、テラス席には日除けがありましたが、風が吹かないと汗が滲み出てきました。私たちが食事をしている間、クルミは大人しく待っています。今度は予約を入れて来ることにします。
We went to a recently opened cafe with Kurumi. It was noon on weekdays, but it was crowded with many people, and only one table was available on the terrace. The weather was fine today and there was a shade on the terrace, but if the wind didn’t blow, sweat would seep out. Kurumi was waiting quietly while we eat. I will make a reservation next time to get better table.
毎日続けてパズルゲームをやっています。今日で 3 年間連続でプレーしていたことになります。このパズルは 5, 6 分でできる日もあれば難しくて長時間悩む時もあって面白いです。今日も私は自宅で勤務していました。クルミとは短い時間でしたが遊ぶことができました。クルミとの仲も毎日変わらずですが、時々悩ませられる時もあって楽しいです。明日は一緒に散歩に行けると良いです。
I play the puzzle games every day continuing. I’ve been playing this for three years already. This puzzle is interesting because it can be done in 5 or 6 minutes on some days and difficult and troublesome for a long time. I was working from home today as well. It was a short time with Kurumi, but I was able to play. My relationship with Kurumi is the same every day, but it’s fun because I sometimes get annoyed. I hope we can go for a walk together tomorrow.
今日も昼間は暑い一日でした。それでも、朝夕はすっかり涼しくなって過ごしやすいです。私は献血のために外出していた一日でした。クルミとは夕方から一緒の時間を持つことができました。夕方から雨が降り出したので外に出て遊ぶことができず残念でした。
It was a hot day today as well. However, it’s cool in the morning and evening and it’s comfortable time. It was a day I was out to donate blood and other things. I was able to have time with Kurumi from the evening. It started raining in the evening, so we were disappointed that we couldn’t go out and play.
家で仕事をしていると何度かコーヒーを淹れて楽しんでいます。仏果堂で教えてもらった淹れ方を練習しています。湯の落とし方を一定にするのですが、毎回、上手にできずに、でもそれが楽しい時間となっています。特に最初の湯を落としてコーヒー豆を蒸している時の香りは何とも言えません。クルミもコーヒーの香りを楽しんでいるようにソファーで私のことを見ていました。
When I work at home, I enjoy brewing coffee several times. I am practicing the brewing method taught at the cafe couple weeks ago. I keep the method of dropping hot water constant, but I can’t do it well every time, but it’s a fun time. Especially when the first hot water is dropped and the coffee beans are steamed, the aroma is nice. Kurumi was looking at me on the sofa as if he was enjoying the aroma of coffee.
