クルミは短く刈られた芝の上を嬉しそうに歩いていました。雨が降る予報が出ていましたが今日は降りませんでした。クルミは最近氷を舐めるのが好きです。青い食器に冷蔵庫で作った氷を一つ入れてやるとしばらく音を立てて舐めています。無くなってしまうと不思議そうにしているクルミが可愛いです。夕方、自転車を走らせました。まだ少しハンドルの操作が安定しません。徐々に慣れていこうと思います。

Kurumi was happily walking around the short-cut grass. The forecast was for rain, but it didn’t rain today. Kurumi likes to lick ice these days. When I put one piece of ice that I made in the refrigerator in the blue dish, it makes a sound and licks it for a while. He seems to be wondering when it is gone is cute. I rode my bike in the evening. The operation of the steering wheel is still a little unstable. I will gradually get used to it.

爽快だった昨日の天気から一変して今日はまた蒸し暑い一日となりました。曇り空で今にも雨が降りそうです。雨が降る前に伸びた芝を刈ってやりました。先週の大雨の後、芝は急に伸びてしまったので、今日、さっぱりすることができました。昨夜、クルミは深夜に吠え出して困りました。理由がわからないので困りますが、妻と一緒にクルミの面倒をみてやりました。夕方、近くの K さんが愛犬のももちゃんの散歩の途中に寄ってくれました。愛犬のことをお互いに話せることに感謝です。

It turned out to be another hot and humid day today, a complete change from yesterday’s refreshing weather. It’s cloudy and it looks like it’s going to rain. I mowed the overgrown grass before it rained. After last week’s heavy rain, the grass suddenly grew, so I was able to freshen up today. Last night, Kurumi started barking in the middle of the night and was in trouble. I don’t know why, but my wife and I took care of him. In the evening, K-san, who lives nearby, stopped by while walking with his dog, Momo-chan. I am grateful that we can talk to each other about our dogs.

クルミの様子が変な一日でした。常にソワソワしていて、一人になると吠えて私を呼びます。最近のクルミの変化を見ていると天気によって様子が変わるようです。今日はとても良い天気で、乾燥しています。昨日までの蒸し暑さから大きく変化したことも関係していそうです。天気が安定していると良いのですが。私は自転車屋で買ったパンク修理道具を使ってみようと思い、クルミのバギーをいじってみました。左のタイヤが空気漏れを起こすのでチューブを取り出してみたのですが、空気の注入口で漏れていることが分かりました。増し締めをして様子をみます。

It was a strange day for Kurumi. He is always fidgety and barks and calls me when he is alone. Looking at the recent changes in him, it seems that the appearance changes depending on the weather. The weather today is very nice and dry. It seems that it is related to the big change from the heat and humidity until yesterday. I hope the weather is stable. I’d try the puncture repair tools I bought at the bike shop, so I tinkered with the buggy for Kurumi. The left tire was leaking air, so I took out the tube and found that it was leaking at the air inlet. I’ll tighten it up and see how it goes.

午前中は雨になりましたが、午後からは晴れてきて、綺麗な青空が広がりました。愛車の充電を行なっている間、自転車に乗ってみることにしました。自分の自転車を手放してから久しいのですが、ちゃんと乗れました。電動アシストの機能を試してみて、上り坂でも本当に楽にペダルを漕ぐことができます。初めて自転車に乗れた時のことが思い出されました。クルミは庭に出るのが大好きなのですが、おしっこをするので困ります。

今年の正月に注文した自転車がやっと届きました。6 月の納品予定でしたが、コロナウィルス感染の影響から生産が遅れたようです。天気が悪かったので家の中で組み立てました。明日、試乗するのが楽しみです。そして、この 2 ヶ月、10 章からなるテキストを全て読み終えました。今年の下期試験を受ける予定です。電気のことを学校で学んできたのでそれを資格に活かしてみようと思います。夕刊ではマニュアル車の記事が掲載されています。息子もマニュアル車が好きで今でもシンガポールで愛用しているようです。日産、トヨタもスポーツカーでマニュアル車を残していくことが書かれていました。クルミは今日も元気です。いつも一緒にいました。

I’ve learned about electricity at school, so I’m going to try to make use of it as a qualification. The evening paper has an article about a manual transmission car. My son also likes MT cars and he still uses it in Singapore. It was written that Nissan and Toyota would also keeps MT new sports cars. Kurumi is doing well today. We were always together.

昨日から目が痒くなって仕方ないので医師に診てもらうことにしました。花粉の飛ぶ時期に処方してもらった点眼液が効果ないことを伝えると、軟膏を処方してくれました。この時期、稲科の花粉が飛ぶのが影響しているのかも知れません。今日は予約無しだったので少し待ちましたが、病院内に Free WiFi が完備されたので待っている間もスマホが使えました。クルミは今日も寂しがりやで、私たちの側で遊んでいました。

I didn’t have a reservation today, so I waited for a while, but the hospital was equipped with free WiFi, so I could use my smartphone while I was waiting. Kurumi was very lonely today and was playing by our side.

今日は終戦記念日です。終戦後に生まれた私にとって戦争の体験はありませんが、新聞やテレビを通じて戦争のことを知る日になりました。生前父や祖父からも話を聞きましたが、２度と戦争があってはならないことと願います。ウクライナとロシアの間で起きている戦争も早く集結することを願います。クルミは玩具箱の中からロープがついたおもちゃを見つけてご機嫌でした。

I heard stories from my father and grandfather when they were alive, and I hope that there will never be another war. I hope that the war between Ukraine and Russia will end soon. Kurumi was happy to find a toy with a rope from the toy box.

昨日の台風は多くの雨を降らせて過ぎ去っていきました。午前中は曇っていましたが、午後からは晴れて暑い日が戻ってきました。今日は古くなったラティスを塗装しておいたものを取り付けてみました。水色のラティスは鮮やかです。20 年前の木ですが、これでもうしばらく使えそうです。今日もクルミとたくさん遊ぶことができました。

Yesterday’s typhoon passed by with a lot of rain. It was cloudy in the morning, but sunny and hot days returned in the afternoon. Today I tried to install the old lattice that was painted last week. The light blue lattice is vivid. The wood is more than 20 years old, but it looks like it will be usable for a while longer. I was able to play with Kurumi a lot today as well.

台風 8 号は午後日本に上陸して私の住む地域に向かっています。午後から雨が強くなり始めました。これから風も強くなってくると思われます。今日は家の中で台風が行き過ぎるのを待つことにします。クルミはソファーで私の側で眠っています。風雨による災害が発生しないことを祈ります。

台風 8 号が日本近海で発生しました。最近は海水温が高くなってきて日本の近くまで 27℃になっていることが原因のようです。昔はもっと南の地域で台風が発生したのですが、こうなると台風になってから数日で接近してきます。この週末は台風が行き過ぎるのを家の中で待つことになりそうです。行きつけのレストランのオーナーが間接照明が消えて困っているので調べて直してみました。調べてみるとトランスについているブレーカーが切れているのが原因でした。きっとトランスの突入電流が影響しているものと思い、輝度を落としてからスイッチを操作するように説明してきました。今日もクルミと遊ぶ時間が持てました。低気圧が近づいているのでクルミの容体を心配しています。

I’m worried about Kurumi’s health as a low pressure is approaching.
