よく晴れた日曜日、外から子供達が遊ぶ声が聞こえてきます。小さな公園が家の近くにあって、そこで遊ぶ子供達の元気な声が聞こえます。そんな時、とても幸せを感じます。自分の昔を思い出す瞬間でもあります。子供達が安心して外で遊べることができるこの住宅地が好きです。
クルミは昨夜、少し具合が悪い時間がありました。一緒のベッドで寝ているので近くに寄って様子を見てやりました。安心したのか眠りに戻っていきました。いつも同じドッグフードを同じ量与えているのですが、原因はわかりません。

On a sunny Sunday, I hear children playing outside. There is a small park near my house and I can hear the cheerful voices of children playing there. At such times, I feel very happy. It is also a moment that reminds me of my past. I like this residential area where children can play outside safely.
Kurumi had a bit of a bad time last night. I was sleeping in the same bed, so I was close to see what was going on. Feeling relieved, he went back to sleep. We always give him the same amount of the dog food and I don’t know why.

今夜は近くのイタリアンレストランで妻と食事をしてきました。ピザが美味しいレストランです。2 種類をハーフ・アンド・ハーフにしていただけるので 2 人でちょうど良い量のピザをいただくことができます。シェフは一人だけなのでお客様が多いと料理が出てくるまで少し時間がかかってしまいますが、美味しい料理なので我慢できます。
クルミは私たちが外出している間、眠って待っていてくれました。外出しているといつでも気になってしまいます。

I had dinner with my wife tonight at a nearby Italian restaurant. This restaurant has delicious pizza. We can choose 2 types tastes half and half, so we can have just the right amount of pizza for 2 people. There is only one chef, so if there are many customers, it may take a while for the food to come out, but the food is delicious, so I can endure it.
Kurumi slept and waited for us while we were out. Whenever I’m out, I’m always worried him.

妻が12月に怪我をしてから10週間が経過しました。6週間は固定して骨が着くのを待って、リハビリを始めてから4週間、ほぼ日常の生活ができるまで回復しました。まだ、強い力を加えることはできませんし、患部の痛みが残っています。あと2,3週間もすればもっと楽になることでしょう。妻は早くテニスがしたくて仕方ないようです。
梅の花が咲き始めました。今日は天気が悪く夕方からは雨が降り始めました。クルミは今日も暖かいストーブのそばでよく眠っていました。

Plum blossoms are starting to bloom. The weather is bad today and it started to rain in the evening. Kurumi slept well by the warm stove today.

今日は天皇誕生日で祝日です。朝は曇り空でしたが、昼からは陽が出てきて暖かくなりました。今日は家の中のことをして過ごしました。風が無いので煙突の掃除をして、煤を取り除きました。煙突掃除をすると手が煤で黒くなってしまいます。手洗いをした後、洗面台の掃除をしました。長年使ってきているので水垢が目立っていました。クレンザーで取り除いた後、ワックスを塗布してみました。これはキッチンのシンク用に準備したものなのですが、陶器にも使えると思います。午後はクルミと一緒に陽の入るリビングでのんびりとしています。胡蝶蘭が咲き始めました。

Today is the Emperor’s birthday and it’s a public holiday. It was cloudy in the morning, but the sun came out in the afternoon and it became warm. I spent the day doing things at home. There was no wind, so I cleaned the chimney and removed the soot. If I clean the chimney, my hands will be black with soot. After washing my hands, I cleaned the sink. I’ve been using it for a long time, so water stains were conspicuous. After removing it with a cleanser, I tried applying the wax. I prepared this for the kitchen sink, but I think it can also be used for pottery. In the afternoon, I relax with Kurumi in the sunny living room. Phalaenopsis orchids are starting to bloom.

話題になっている「チャット GPT」を試してみました。質問を書き込むと丁寧な文書で答えてくれます。「薪ストーブに火を上手に点けるには？」と質問してみました。AI 技術が駆使されていて、無難な回答が返ってきました。英語のアプリケーションですが、質問は日本語で入れることができます。答えも同じ言葉で返ってきます。このような技術がどんどん、生活に浸透してくることでしょう。
クルミは今日も元気に遊んでいました。私たちはクルミが中心の生活をしていて、常に彼のことが頭から離れません。

I tried “Chat GPT” which has become a hot topic. If I write a question, it will answer in a polite sentences. I asked, “How to light a fire in a wood-burning stove?” AI technology was used, and a safe answer was returned. Although the application is in English, questions can be entered in Japanese. It will give me the answer with the same language. This kind of technology is becoming more and more pervasive in our lives.
Kurumi was playing well today as well. Our lives revolve around him, and he is always on our minds.

今日は晴れたのですが、気温がとても低い、寒い一日でした。薪ストーブも煙突のドラフトがなかなか得られずに温度が上がるまで時間がかかっています。天気予報では、今後は気温が上がるようです。
クルミはトリミングしてもらってさっぱりしました。しかし、トリマーさんは、クルミが顔の周りにハサミが見えると突然に動き、怖がるので、怪我をしないか心配しています。13年間の間に何回かトリマーさんを変えてきました。老犬になるとトリミングを断られるケースもあります。怪我をさせてしまうと飼い主に訴えられることも考えてしまうそうです。なんとか、来月もお願いしてきましたが、クルミがおとなしくしない場合は顔の周りの毛は切らないなど、検討をしないといけません。

Kurumi was trimmed and fresh. But the trimmer is worried that Kurumi will get hurt because when he sees the scissors around his face, he will move suddenly and get scared. We have changed trimmers several times over the past 13 years. In some cases, older dogs may be refused trimming. It seems that the trimmer shall think that she will be sued by the owner if she hurt Kurumi. Somehow, I asked for it again next month, but if Kurumi is not quiet, I have to consider not cutting the hair around his face.

今日はクルミを毎月の健診に連れて行きました。獣医と話をして、先月から体重が 100g 増えた以外はクルミの健康状態が良好であることを知って安心しました。待合室で待っていると様々な犬種が来ます。でもクルミは全く興味を示しませんでした。
テレビの情報番組ではウクライナとロシアの戦争、そしてトルコで発生した地震のことが連日のように報じられています。そして、今日は北朝鮮が発射したミサイルのことが朝から話されています。私は少しでも明るいニュースが多くなることを毎日願っています。

And today, they have been talking about the missiles launched by North Korea since this morning. I hope every day that there will be as many bright news as possible.

今日は気温が上がったのですが、曇り空の一日でした。午後、ソファーに座ってくつろいでいたらクルミに誘われてしまいました。庭に出たかったクルミは私の顔を見て訴えてきました。クルミは芝の上を走り回り、家の外を一周して満足したようです。

今日は少し暖かくなり、穏やかな週末となりました。久しぶりにクルミと家の中で遊ぶ時間が持てました。気がつくとクルミの毛がずいぶんと伸びています。来週はトリミングの予定が入っています。クルミは陽の当たる場所を選んでのんびりとしていました。
暖かさに誘われて久しぶりに散歩をしてみました。近くの公園の桜の木にはとても小さな蕾を見ることができました。午後は睡蓮鉢に入っている水の温度も上がってきて金魚も元気良く泳いでいます。こんなにのんびりと過ごせることに感謝です。

It’s a little warmer today, and it’s been a calm weekend. For the first time in a long time, I had time to play with Kurumi in the house. When I noticed, his hair was growing a lot. He has a trimming scheduled for next week. Kurumi choses a sunny spot to relax.
Invited by the warmth, I took a walk for the first time in a while. I was able to see very small buds on a cherry tree in a nearby park. In the afternoon, the temperature of the water in the water lily bowl rises, and the goldfishs are swimming well. I am grateful to be able to spend such a relaxing time.

昨日までの寒さが一転して今日は少し気温が上がりました。それでもこの地域はまだ寒く、工場の敷地にある桜に蕾を見つけることはできません。ここは美味しいお米ができる所で、田んぼが広く広がっています。今日までの仕事を終えて自宅に。クルミはまだ起きていました。久しぶりにリモートワークではなく、事務所で働いた一週間でした。

It’s been a long time since I’ve worked in the office instead of remote work.
