今日も昼間は快晴で、太陽が暖かい一日でした。クルミと庭で遊ぶことができました。遊ぶと言ってもクルミは家の周りを一回りするだけです。小さなクルミにとっては十分な運動になります。今日もたくさん吠えて、食事をして、よく眠っていました。
今夜は久しぶりに妻と外食に出ることができました。店のオーナーも妻のことを気にしていて、早く良くなるように、と声をかけていただけました。

It was a sunny day and the sun was warm again today. I was able to play in the garden with Kurumi. Even if I say play, Kurumi just goes around the house. It will be enough exercise for a small dog. He barked a lot today, ate, and slept well.
Tonight, I was able to go out to eat with my wife for the first time in a while. The owner of the shop was also concerned about my wife and told her to get well soon.

日本全国のポイント市場は 2 兆円を超えています。街の小さなお店でもポイントカードを発行しています。私も気がつけば多くのポイントカードを持つようになりました。そして、昨年からは節電でもポイントがつくようになる始末です。寒さが厳しい時期に節電を要請されると辛いものがあります。しかし、この節電ポイントはどのように評価されているのか不透明なので私はあまり気にしていません。
クルミはお腹が空くと吠えて催促します。食事の時間まで 1 時間もあるのに大きな声で吠えられると困ってしまいます。仕方なく、いつもより 10 分、食事を与えることにしました。

Kurumi barks when he is hungry. I would be in trouble if he barked loudly even though there was an hour before dinner time. I reluctantly decided to give him food for 10 minutes earlier than usual.

今日は北風が強く吹く寒い一日でした。日照も少なく、冷え切った部屋はなかなか暖まりません。薪ストーブは火を点けてから 2 時間程度で全体が高温になってきます。温度が 250 ℃に達すると部屋全体に暖かい空気が満たされ始めます。今夜もこの暖かさに包まれて団欒を過ごします。
クルミはセーターを着て過ごしていました。寒かったので、短い時間庭で遊ぶことにしました。

Kurumi spent the day wearing a sweater. It was cold, so we decided to play in the garden for a short time.

眼科に通院するために隣の駅まで電車で往復しました。帰り道、蝋梅の香りに誘われて写真を撮りました。気がつくと梅の花も咲き始めています。今日は少し暖かくなる予報でしたが、期待したほどの気温の上昇はありませんでした。明日からはまた寒い日が続くそうです。
今日はお客様があったのですが、クルミは眠っていて気づきませんでした。耳が聞こえなくなってから彼は番犬にはなれません。でも、今日も元気に遊んで、そして眠っていました。

I took a train to the next station to go to the ophthalmologist. On the way home, I was invited by the scent of Japanese allspice and took a picture. When I realized it, the plum blossoms are starting to bloom. The forecast was for a little warmer weather today, but not as much as expected. It seems that the cold days will continue from tomorrow.
I had a visitor today, but Kurumi was asleep and didn’t notice. Since he’s deaf, he can’t be a watchdog. But today, he played well and slept well.

2013 年、私が P 社に入社して以来これまで 10 年間一緒に仕事をしてきた F 氏が 3 月末で退社することを聞きました。F 氏とはシンガポールの会社の立ち上げで働いてきました。その会社は未だ成長の過程にあって、まだまだサポートが必要なのですが、残念なことです。後任の方も強いリーダーシップを発揮してくれることを願っています。
クルミは今日も元気にしていました。時々、私の膝に来て甘える姿に癒されています。

I heard that Mr. F, who I had been working with for 10 years since I joined Company P in 2013, would be leaving the company at the end of March. I have worked with Mr. F on the launch of a company in Singapore. The company is still in the process of growth and still needs support, which is unfortunate. I hope that his successor will demonstrate strong leadership.
Kurumi was doing well today as well. Sometimes I’m healed by the appearance of coming to my lap and pampering me.

今日は隣の県にある森に薪の木材をもらいに行きました。切られてから 1 年が経過しているので少し古くなっていますが、薪にするにはちょうど良いと思います。これを薪割りするのは大変ですが、寒い日の作業にすると体が温まって最高です。慣れないトラックを運転して、木材を上げ下ろしして、今日は疲れました。
クルミは暖かい環境が良いようで、ストーブは欠かせない毎日です。今日も夕方から薪ストーブで暖かくしてあげました。

Today I went to the forest in the next prefecture to get wood for firewood. It’s been a year since it was cut, so it’s a little old, but I think it’s just right for firewood. It’s hard to chop wood, but it’s great to work on a cold day because it warms my body. I’m tired today from driving unfamiliar truck and loading and unloading lumber.
Kurumi seems to prefer a warm environment, and the stove is essential every day. I warmed up with the wood stove from the evening again today.

今日はクルミの爪を切ってやりました。クルミは室内で飼われているので爪の伸びが早いです。彼の爪は黒いので血管の位置が見えにくいです。前回は獣医でも少し血管を切ってしまいました。そんな時には止血剤があるので大丈夫なのです。今日は一度も血を見ることはありませんでした。よかったよかった。
雪の降る地域では記録的な大雪に見舞われているのですが、私が住むこの地域は今日も快晴の天気に恵まれました。ありがたいことです。

I cut Kurumi’s nails today. Kurumi is kept indoors, so his nails grow quickly. His nails are black so it’s hard to see where the blood vessels are. Last time, even the veterinarian cut a little blood vessel. In such a case, there is a hemostatic agent, so it’s okay. I never saw blood today. good good good
In areas where it snows, we are experiencing record-breaking snowfall, but the area where I live was blessed with fine weather today. Thankfully.

妻と私は毎週土曜日にテニススクールに通っています。妻は休会中です。早く復帰したがっていますが、もうしばらく我慢です。今日も多くのメンバーから声をかけられました。皆さん、私の妻を気遣ってくれています。家に帰って、テニススクールの様子を妻に話しています。復帰したい、という気持ちもケガの回復に役立つと思います。
太陽の暖かさを感じられる午後、クルミと一緒に庭に出てみました。今年も水仙の芽が出てきました。寒いのですが、土の中では春の訪れが届いているようです。

My wife and I go to tennis school every Saturday. My wife is on absent. She wants to come back soon, but she’ll have to put up with it for a while. Many members have called out to me today. Everyone is taking care of my wife. I’m going home and telling my wife how the tennis school is going. I think the feeling of wanting to come back is also useful for recovering from injuries.
In the afternoon when I could feel the warmth of the sun, I went out into the garden with Kurumi. The daffodils have sprouted again this year. It’s cold, but it seems that spring has arrived in the soil.

去年の夏から半年、電気工事士の試験勉強をしました。今日、その試験結果が発表されて、私は合格することができました。久しぶりに国家試験に合格した喜びを感じています。合格証が送られて来るのをまって、免許証の申請です。これで屋内の電気配線工事も自分でできることになります。
今日は朝から天気が悪く、午後からはみぞれが降り始めました。夜になって雪にならないと良いのですが、心配です。クルミは今日も暖かい部屋で元気に過ごしていました。

From last summer, I spent half a year studying to become an electrician. Today the results of the exam were announced and I was able to pass. I feel happy that I passed the national exam after a long time. Waiting for the certificate to arrive, it is time to apply for the official license. Now I can do the indoor electrical wiring myself.
The weather has been bad since the morning, and sleet started to fall in the afternoon. I hope it doesn’t snow at night, but I’m worried. Kurumi was doing well today in a warm room.

今朝は氷点下に冷え込みました。金魚が入っている睡蓮鉢の水も凍ってしまい、金魚たちは氷の下で静かにしていました。水の中には投げ込みヒーターを入れているのですが、この寒波では能力が足りません。テレビの報道番組でも日本全国で発生している寒波の影響が報じられています。暖かい春がとても待ち遠しい季節です。
クルミには寒い思いをさせたくないと思い、過保護になってしまっているかも知れません。しかし、暖かい環境にしてやってからは体調が良いようです。13 歳の老犬は人間だと私よりも歳をとっている身体です。大切にしてやります。

I have a throw-in heater in the water, but it doesn’t work well in this cold weather. TV news programs have also reported the effects of the cold wave that is occurring all over Japan. I can’t wait for the warm spring to come.
I may be overprotective because I don’t want Kurumi to feel cold. However, after putting him in a warm environment, it seems to be in good condition. A 13-year-old old dog is a body that is older than I am as a human being. I will cherish it.
