今年も地域でのどんど焼きが行われました。家々から持ち寄られた松飾りが高く積まれていきます。自治会が数日前から準備をして、早朝から餅つきも行われています。きな粉、あんこ、ゴマの 3 種類の餅が各個に配られていきます。豚汁やお神酒も振舞われて楽しいひと時となりました。子供達は楽しく遊んでいます。今年も皆さんにとって良い年となることでしょう。
It was the day for our annual event at this residence around 550 families. Brought the new year’s decorations from each family and put the fire to burn them out. The fire brings back the god from this new year’s days and now back to the normal life. We also wish health and safety by seeing the fire today.
穏やかに晴れた今日は、八王子市の七福神巡りをすることとしました。結果的には 4/7 しか行くことはできませんでしたが、妻と二人、散策気分で楽しむことができました。昨日、初詣で訪れた薬王院でご朱印帳を買い求めた妻は御朱印を集めるのが今年の楽しみになったようです。私は帰宅して 25 個目の枡でいっぱいいただきました。
There are several shrines and temples in this city. Wife and I visited 4 of those and collected the stamps and writing. Wife has started to collect those this year since yesterday. How many of those to be? I then came back to home enjoyed Sake with the 25th wooden box nice taste.
毎年、初詣に訪れている高尾山薬王院に行ってきました。途中、珍しい獅子舞を見かけました。家々を回って魔除けをしています。道ゆく人も獅子に頭を噛んでもらっていました。日本古来の風習ですね。
標高 599m 高尾山の中腹にある薬王院はお寺に部類されます。妻と私は往復歩くこととしました。天気が良く風も少なかったので登りでは汗をかきました。いつものようにお参りをして、いつものように買い物、そして麓の蕎麦屋で一杯。今年も来られたことに感謝します。
Wife and I visited to the temple annuary praying health and safety this year to all. We met the traditional Japanese event Shishi-Mai on the way. I was happy seeing this with young people are doing this. The temple is located at the Mt. Takao that is 566 meters high. We have decided to go by walk both up and down did not use the cable car. The weather was nice so we sweated nicely. Praied, shopped and ate as usual. I was very happy with these things we could as usual.
ここ数日、ストーブの燃焼状態がおかしいと思っていました。気がつくとガラスワイヤーロープが切れていて隙間ができています。あいにくストーブ屋さんはお休み、応急手当をすることとしました。5 シーズン目の今年はワイヤーロープが固くなっていて交換が必要な様子です。休み明け、材料を入手して修復してみます。Mac の充電状況もおかしくなり、点検したところ、電源接点の汚れと思われます。綿棒と除光液で汚れを取ってみました。これでまた快適に使えそうです。自分の身体もそうですが、形、命あるものは定期的な検査と修復が必要ですね。
I was noticed something wrong with the fire. Checked the stove and found out the gap at the grass wire rope. The shop is closing this season so I decided to repair temporarily. It is the 5th season thus need to replace some parts I see. I will get the right parts after the holiday and repair completely. Cleaned the power connection at the Mac Book Air also to keep the charging operation well. The year 2017 starts with my repair works.
快晴でとても暖かい元旦となりました。暮れは掃除で疲れましたが、綺麗になった我が家で新年を迎えることができて感謝しています。新しい業務を受けたこともあり年末年始は暦通りの勤務をします。それでも 6 日間のお休み、有意義に過ごしたいと思います。今年も健康でそして家族仲良く暮らせることを望みます。
I wish all of your happy new year. It was busy last 2 days cleaning my home and happy to have this fine weather today. I am not planning to have any additional holidays this time due to the new tasks I have now. However there are 6 days holiday appreciating this time relax and enjoy with family.
勤務している会社の工場が山形県長井にあります。過去に 2 度、訪れています。今回で 3 回目です。そして初めて長井に泊まりました。会社の方々と夕食、二次会と懇親できる機会はよかったです。少し遠いので頻繁に訪れることができず申し訳ない気分です。来年はもう少し頻繁に訪れるようにしたいと思います。会の中で「薪ストーブを持っているのなら、りんごの木をやろうか？」と言われて嬉しかったのですが、ここまで取りに来るのは大変です。
I had the last business trip this year. There is a factory in Yamagata Nagai where I need 4 hours from my home. I have visited there twice in last 3 years. It was nice meeting, drinking and singing with them to know each other. I stayed one night this time for us to have longer hours to talk. I am thinking to be there more often in 2017. Wishing their Happy New Year.
今年のディナーはアントレさんに行きました。お店は西八王子の駅近くです。とても美味しい料理を出していただき感謝しています。クリスマスのフルコースを堪能しました。
I and wife visited to the restaurant for Christmas this year. The Entree is a french restaurant we have been visiting couple of times before. The sheff and his wife are now our friend we had a nice time with them.
車の手入れをし続けてきています。昔は固形のワックスを塗って、乾いたら拭き取る、そんな時代から今ではポリマーが発達して洗車した後、少し濡れた状態で塗ってしまう。簡単になりました。しかし、このポリマーだと、雨など、水滴ができると、太陽光が当たったときにレンズ効果で水滴周辺の温度が上がり、ポリマーの輪っかが残ってしまいます。年月が経つとその輪っかが取れなくなってしまいます。そこで、今回、ガラス繊維素が配合されたコーティングを試すこととしました。自分では施工できず、業者に依頼です。
I ordered the body coating with my car. I have been taking care my car periodically. When I started to have my car the wax was very old fashioned style. Now it is more easy with the polymer technology. Now I changed to the new one with the grass technology. Hope this stays longer with less time to care the body.
今年のクリスマスは今日 23 日からの 3 連休となりました。街は賑やかです。買い物にでかけたのですが、とても多くの人で賑わっていました。プレゼントを買い求める人なのでしょうか、経済の発展には喜ばしいことです。私たちも夕食に出かけてきました。駅前のイルミネーションが綺麗な夜でした。
It will be long weekend here in Japan. Friday is a national holiday as the birthday of the emperor. He is now 83 years old wish his health by all Japanese. I went out town for dinner tonight enjoyed the illumination at the station.
2 週間前から軽いめまいがして止まりません。日常生活で不自由なことは無いのですが、心配になって検査を受けることとしました。医師に相談し MRI 装置で脳の血管の状態を診ていただきました。これと言った問題は見つからないとの所見。徐々に良くなっているのであれば様子を見よう、ということとなりました。以前に働いていた会社の製品です。かなり使い込んだ後がありますが、健在な姿を見ることができました。この病院は予約が無くてもその日に診ていただけました。また検査とその結果もその場で出していただき、とても安心することができました。
I have been feeling something badly last 2 weeks like the motion sickness. I have visited to the hospital and talked with the doctor. He asked me to take the MRI study to diagnose brain blood vessels. The system was the one I worked before at the previous company. The system looks old but I was happy seeing it works fine. The result was good the doctor did not see anything wrong with my images. Since the situation becomes better so he suggested me to have some more time. The hospital could receive me without a reservation and gave me the result at the same day which relieves me very well.
