今日の天気は曇、夜からは雨となりました。この雨は明日も降り続くようです。陽の暖かさが無い寒い日でした。こんな日、クルミは外にも出られないので家の中で遊んでいます。夕方から薪ストーブを使って暖かくしてやると気持ちよさそうに眠っていました。私は自宅で仕事の一日でした。

On such a day, Kurumi can’t go out so he was playing in the house. He slept comfortably when I warmed it up with a wood stove from the evening. I had a day of work at home.
今日はクルミと一緒にドライブ、諏訪湖近くまで買い物に行ってきました。前回の旅行で立ち寄ったお店です。その時は未だ品物が無かったので、今日はその品物を買いにきました。クリスマスのお菓子です。これからクリスマスまで少しずついただきます。清里の萌木の村に寄って昼食にしました。ここも前回は満員で入れなかったのですが、今日はクルミと一緒に暖かい店内で一休みすることができました。往復 350km のドライブだったのですが、渋滞が無かったので疲労感は無く、楽しい一日を過ごすことができました。
Today we went for a drive with Kurumi and shopping near Lake Suwa. This is the shop we stopped by on our last trip. Wife didn’t have any items at that time, so we came to buy them today. Christmas sweets. From now on, We’ll have it little by little until Christmas. We stopped by the village of Moegi in Kiyosato and had lunch. We couldn’t enter here because it was full last time, but today we were able to take a rest in a warm store with Kurumi. It was a 350km round trip drive, but there was no traffic, so I didn’t feel tired and had a good day.
今日は妻とクリスマスの飾り付けを行いました。以前は大きなツリーを飾ったのですが、今は小さなツリーを 2 つリビングに置いています。オーナメントの中には 30 年前に買ったものもあって、飾り付けをする時にその頃のことを思い出しています。去年は庭のオリーブの木に電飾を付けたのですが、今年は諦めました。夏に虫に食われた幹は枯れてしまっています。でも根からは新しい芽が出てきています。これからこの子を育ててやろうと思います。クルミは私たちが飾り付けをしている間、いびきをかいて昼寝していました。
Today I decorated Christmas with my wife. We used to decorate a big tree, but now we have two small trees in our living room. Some of the ornaments we bought 30 years ago, and we remember those days when we decorated them. Last year I put an illumination on the olive tree in the garden, but this year I gave up. The trunk that was eaten by insects in the summer has died. But new shoots are coming out from the roots. I will raise this child from now on. Kurumi was snoring and taking a nap while we were decorating.
今日も冬晴れで、陽の光が暖かい日でした。クルミは早朝、お腹を下してしまいました。夜、寒かったのかもしれません。でも食欲があり元気なので安心しています。今夜は少し暖かいベッドにしてあげましょう。窓際に置いたシクラメンに陽があたるととても綺麗です。シクラメンは長く楽しめる花です。私は車庫の前の段差が気になっていて、スロープを取り付けてみました。これで車体の下を擦る回数が減ることを願っています。
It was a sunny winter day and the sun was warm. Kurumi got up early in the morning and he got diarrhea. It may have been cold at night for him. But I am relieved because he has an appetite and he was fine at the daytime. Let’s make the bed a little warmer tonight. It is very beautiful when the cyclamen placed by the window with the sun light. Cyclamen is a flower that we can enjoy for a long time. I was worried about the step in front of the garage, so I installed a slope. I hope this will reduce the number of times I rub under the car body.
今日は T さんと Zoom Meeting のやり方についてお話ししてきました。最近、いろいろな事がリモートで行われるようになり、Zoom Meeting を使う機会が増えてきたそうです。無料のアカウントから Meeting を設定して T さんを招待しました。主催者として使ったことが無かったので私も勉強になりました。許可される場合は、Meeting を録画できるので、講義などを後から視聴することも可能で便利です。今日も冬晴れで、陽の光をたくさんいただくことができました。散歩の途中、猫が車の上で丸くなっている姿がとても愛らしかったです。クルミとの時間も楽しんでいます。
Today I talked with T-san about how to do a Zoom Meeting. Recently, various things have been done remotely, and it seems that the opportunity to use Zoom Meeting has increased. I set up a Meeting from my free account and invited T-san. I had never used it as an organizer, so I learned a lot also. If permitted, it can be recorded the meeting, which is convenient because it can be watched the lecture later. It was sunny in winter today and I was able to get a lot of sunlight. It was very lovely to see the cat curled up on the car during the walk. I also enjoy spending time with Kurumi.
今朝はとっても寒い朝でした。明るくなるのを待ってから少し歩いてみましたが、帽子と手袋をしていなかったので、早く帰宅しました。クルミは顔を隠すようにしてリビングで眠っています。彼の寝顔を見ていると私も眠くなってしまいました。今日は自宅で仕事をしていました。午後のお茶の時間には甘いものをいただいて眠気を覚ましました。テレビのニュースではコロナウィルスのことが常に話されています。感染が広がらないことを願っています。
It was a very cold morning today. I waited for it to brighten and then walked a little, but I didn’t wear a cap and gloves, so I went home early. Kurumi is sleeping in the living room, hiding his face by his hand. Looking at his sleeping face made me sleepy too. I was working from home today. During the afternoon tea time, we got some sweets and keep waking up. Coronavirus is always talked about in TV news. I hope the infection does not spread.
昨夜の天気は暴風雨となりました。深夜には落雷もあり、少し怖いくらいの雨音がしていました。思ったよりも早く雨があがったので散歩をしてみました。木々からの落ち葉が道にたくさん落ちています。散歩から帰ると空には綺麗な雲が浮かんで、穏やかな快晴となりました。午後からは日差しが強くなり気温も高く、12 月とは思えない暖かさで助かりました。クルミを連れて、スタバのテラスでのんびりと時間を過ごすこともできました。
The weather last night was a storm. There was a lightning strike at midnight, and there was a little scary rain noise. The weather recovered earlier than I expected, so I took a walk. There are many fallen leaves from the trees on the road. When I returned from the walk, beautiful clouds floated in the sky and it became a calm sunny day. From the afternoon, the sun was getting stronger and the temperature was high, and I was saved by the warmth that I couldn’t think of in December. I was also able to spend some time relaxing on the terrace of Starbucks with Kurumi.
今朝は冷え込みました。クルミは 4 時に起き出したのですが、私が「ハウス」と言うと自分のベッドに戻って眠っていました。でも 5 時には起き出してきてもう寝てくれません。リビングルームで少し一緒に遊んであげるとまた寝てしまいます。そこで私も 2 度寝しました。これから寒い朝が少し辛いシーズンになります。天気予報によると明日の朝は雨になるとのことですから、今朝は明日の分も歩くことにしました。
It got cold this morning. Kurumi got up at 4 o’clock, but when I said “go house”, then he went back to his bed and slept. But at 5 o’clock he got up and couldn’t sleep anymore. When I play with him in the living room for a while, he will fall asleep again. So I slept twice too. The cold morning will come in this season. According to the weather forecast, it will rain tomorrow morning, so I decided to walk longer today.
今日は出社する日でしたので、朝の散歩は短い距離にしました。朝日が紅葉を綺麗に染めていました。帰りがけ、愛車をガレージに入れて最後の点検をしてもらいました。この車とはあと 2 週間でお別れになります。クルミとは夕食後短い時間でしたが一緒におもちゃで遊ぶことができました。

On my way back to home, I put my car in the garage and had it checked for the last time. I will say goodbye to this car in two weeks. It was a short time after dinner with Kurumi, but we were able to play with toys together.
今朝はこの地域の防災活動の訓練が行われました。各家では「無事です」と書かれたカードを表示して、助けが不要であることを表します。災害が発生した時、助けが必要なお宅に迅速に行けるようにするためです。このカードが実際に使われることが無いことを願っています。寒くなり始めたので、車のタイヤを交換してもらいました。冬用のタイヤです。いつでも雪になっても安心ですが、雪が降らないことを願っています。午後、クルミと散歩に行きました。たくさん歩いたクルミは家に帰ると疲れて眠ってしまいました。

He walked a lot and got tired so fell asleep when he got back to home.
