掃除機をレンタルして 1 週間になります。朝、ドライモードで拭き掃除をすると一日気持ち良く過ごすことができます。動いているのを見ていると飽きないのは今だけかも知れません。廊下の隅も埃を取っています。最後は自動的に充電装置にバックで戻っていくのも面白いです。Google Home との連携もできて、音声で掃除を開始してくれます。クルミは玄関に来ては外に行きたそうにしていました。今日は雨なので出られず、残念でした。ところで、名優の田村正和さんが他界されたことをテレビのニュースで知りました。77 歳だったそうです。どうしても自分の歳を考えてしまいます。あと、10 年、どのように生きようかと。

雨の一日となりました。天気が悪いと散歩に出るのが億劫になってしまいます。スマートウォッチを身につけるようになってから身体をよく動かすようになりました。消費カロリー、運動時間、立っている時間を計測してくれます。3 つのリングを全て完成させることがいつしか目標になってしまいました。そして、この情報を海外に住む息子と共有しているので、お互いに張り合いになっています。息子にしてみれば親の状況も確認できる道具になっているかも知れません。外に出られない日は室内ウォーキングでリングを完成させています。クルミは今朝も早起きでした。私は Six Pad も毎日のエクセサイズに使っています。

今日は雨は降らず、曇り空の一日でした。朝、散歩をしているとツバメを多く見かけるようになりました。我が家の玄関先にもツバメが巣を作った時期がありますが、最近は来ません。この時期は巣作りで忙しい様子です。テレビのニュースではコロナウイルスのワクチン接種予約が大規模接種会場で始まったことを報じています。予約はインターネットか LINE のアプリケーションだけでしか行えないとのことで高齢者のなかにはは混乱する人も多いようです。世の中の流れに私も一生懸命ついて行きます。クルミは今日も食欲旺盛、元気な日を送っています。

雨が降り出さないうちに車のエアコンフィルターを交換しました。ダッシュボードの下に潜り込んで作業をします。仰向けの姿勢にならないとパネルを取り付けているネジを外すことができません。これで明日から少し安心してエアコンを使うことができます。半年前に再度始めたアマチュア無線で交信した無線局から交信証が届きました。50 年前に開局した当時は毎日多くの局と交信したのを思い出しています。今日は曇り時々雨という日曜日になりました。クルミは今日も元気です。

今年は梅雨入りが早いとニュースで言っています。今日は晴れたのですが、明日から天気は下り坂、来週にでも梅雨に入るかも知れません。今日は 10 日後のワクチン接種会場を見てきました。既に接種が始まっています。今回のワクチンは 3 週間開けて 2 回目も受ける必要があります。私の家からこの会場までは歩いて来ることができるので助かります。ワクチンについて多くのことが話されています。でも私は恐れずに接種を受けます。雨の季節になる前、クルミとたくさん庭で遊んでやろうと思います。

私は特定患者さんのために献血に行きました。先月も呼ばれたのですが、今回も同じ患者さんかは不明です。献血は 70 歳までだそうで、あと数年は貢献したいと思います。1 時間、ベッドに横になったままですが、テレビを見ることができるので助かります。帰宅後、クルミを連れてお墓参りをしました。今日は暑い日でしたが、クルミは元気に歩いてくれました。

自動車運転免許の更新をしました。この地域の警察署で行えるので助かります。家から警察署まで歩いて行きました。小雨が降る寒い日です。でも歩いていると暖かくなり、気分も良いです。今後、サポカー限定免許ができることを知りました。高齢者の事故が増えている今、自動的に人間の異常動作を検出して事故を未然に防げるなら、限定免許も良いと思います。スイレンの花が咲き始めました。急に寒くなった今日、少し花には過酷だったかも知れません。クルミは今日も元気です。食事を終わってもまだ足りない素振りをしていました。

家の床は全室フローリングになっています。水拭きをすると気持ちが良いのですが、面積が大きくて大変です。これまで使っていた自動掃除機に替わって新型を使うことにしました。このモデルは学習能力が高くなっていて、部屋の隅々まで拭き掃除をしてくれます。タンクに入れた水を前面から噴射するのも良いです。数年でまた新型が出ることを考えて、今回はレンタルにしてみました。日額 100 円になります。レンタル品なので、気兼ねなく使えるような気もします。クルミは掃除機が動いていても気にならず、涼しい今日もよく寝ていました。

今朝はクルミの爪を切ってあげました。クルミは外を散歩しないためか爪が伸びるのが早いです。大人しく切らせてくれるので助かります。かかりつけの整骨院の医師に頼まれて「酸素」に関する資料を作ってみました。コロナウィルスの問題で血中酸素濃度に興味がありますが、私たちの身体の細胞は常に酸欠状態にあることも知ることができました。人間の不思議を少し勉強することができました。

今日は週に一度の出勤日、会社で設計者と会って話をすることができました。部下だった彼らと話すのはいつも楽しい時間となります。部下には「常に夢を持って、ワクワクすることを大切にしなさい」と教えてきました。今、私はワクワクしているだろうか？退職してから、私は夢を持たなくなったかも知れません。仕事ばかりだったからかも知れません。クルミは食欲旺盛。妻がデザートのリンゴの皮を剥き出すとソファーから走ってきて妻の足元でおねだりします。クルミのように何か夢中になることを見つけなければと思った次第です。
