今朝は近くの小川まで散歩してみました。林の中では鳥が動いている音が聞こえてきます。水が澱んでいる所は氷が張っています。霜に朝日が当たって綺麗に輝いていました。とても寒い朝でしたが、帰宅したら身体は温まっていました。今日もクルミと家にいました。風が強く寒い日でしたからストーブの暖かさが嬉しかったです。そして今日、ワクチン接種第三回目の案内が届きました。

This morning I took a walk to a nearby stream. I can hear the birds moving in the woods. Where the water is stagnant, ice covers the area. The frost was shining beautifully in the morning sun. It was a very cold morning, but when I got home, my body was warm. I was at home with Kurumi today. It was a windy and cold day, so we were happy with the warmth of the stove in the evening. And today, I received the third vaccination notice.

今日は暦の大寒、そのとおりにとても寒い日でした。この寒さは週末まで続くようです。義理の妹が遊びに来てくれました。妻の手料理でランチをみんなでいただいたのですが、やはり、たまには誰かと話せるのは良いものだと思いました。自宅で自粛生活が長いと会話も減ってきてしまいます。家の中に会話と笑いがあることは良いことです。久しぶりだったのでクルミも一緒に起きていておもちゃで遊んでいました。

Today was a very cold day in the calendar. This cold seems to last until the weekend. My sister-in-law came to visit us. We all had lunch with my wife’s home cooking, but I thought it would be nice to be able to talk to someone once in a while. If we have a long self-restraint at home, conversations will decrease. It’s good to have conversation and laughter in the house. It’s been a long time, so Kurumi was up together and playing with toys.

朝からとても寒い日でした。庭のバードバスの氷は午後まで凍っていました。曇り空から晴れ間が現れると急に陽の暖かさが感じられます。今日はクルミを連れてショッピングモールに行こうと思ったのですが、自宅にいることとしました。コロナウイルスの感染者が今日は 4 万人を超えた日本、私が住む地域でも毎日、増え続ける数を新聞で見ています。今、できるだけ感染しないことが大事だと思っています。家にいてクルミとのんびりしていました。

It was a very cold day from the morning. The ice on the bird bath in the garden was frozen until the afternoon. The warmth of the sun is suddenly felt when the clear sky emerges from the cloudy sky. I wanted to go to the shopping center with Kurumi today, but decided to stay at home. In Japan, where the number of people infected with coronavirus has exceeded 40,000 today, and in the area where I live, I see an ever-increasing number in newspapers every day. Now, I think it is important not to get infected as much as possible. I was at home and relaxing with Kurumi.

自宅で仕事の合間にクルミと庭にでて一息。気がつくと水仙の芽が出てきていました。今日も太陽の暖かさがありがたい一日でした。気温は低いのですが、窓から入る陽の暖かさでリビングは暖房無しでも快適です。クルミは寒さに負けてすぐ家に入ってしまいました。今日もコロナウイルスによる新規感染者の数が多く、日本で 3 万人を越えてしまいました。テレビのニュースでコロナウイルスのことを知るたびに気分は落ち込んでしまいます。

Take a break with Kurumi in the garden while working at home. When I noticed, narcissus buds were coming out. Today was also a day of gratitude for the warmth of the sun. Although the temperature is low, the living room is comfortable without heating due to the warmth of the sun coming in through the windows. Kurumi felt the cold and soon entered the house. Today, the number of new infections caused by the coronavirus is high, exceeding 30,000 in Japan. Every time I hear about the coronavirus on TV news, I feel depressed.

隣の家の上にドローンが飛んでいました。家の外にでてみると、リフォームの業者の人が屋根の様子を撮影するために飛ばしているドローンだと分かりました。お隣の家もリフォームをすることにされたようです。きっと将来はドローンのロボットが屋根の修復をしてくれるようになるかも知れません。明日からまた寒波が来るようです。寒さはまだしばらく続きます。夕方、薪ストーブに火を入れるとクルミが近寄ってきました。暖かい所が大好きなクルミです。

A drone was flying over the next house. When I went out of the house, I found out that it was a drone that a remodeling company was flying to take a picture of the roof. It seems that the neighbor decided to remodel the roof. I’m sure drone robots will repair the roof in the future. It seems that the cold wave will come again from tomorrow. The cold will continue for a while. When I put a fire in the evening to the wood stove, Kurumi came. He loves warm places.

朝焼けが綺麗な朝でした。氷点下のなかなので、散歩は少しの時間にしました。今日はストーブの煙突のメンテナンスをしました。ブラッシングで煙突内部の煤を落とします。今回は塗装処理もやってみました。煙突部分は艶消しの黒。ベースはレンガ色にしてみました。色が褪せてきていたので、これで綺麗になりました。煙突掃除のついでに屋根の上に設置された太陽光パネルの写真を撮ってみました。屋根の塗装もやり直さなければいけない時期です。クルミは今日も元気に遊んで寝ての日でした。私たちが着替えて出かける頃になると膝の上に来て心配そうにしていました。

It was a beautiful morning sunrise. It’s below freezing, so I took a short walk. Today I did maintenance on the chimney of the stove. Brush the soot inside the chimney. This time I also tried painting. The chimney part is matte black. I tried to make the base brick color. The color was fading, so now it’s beautiful. While cleaning the chimney, I took a picture of the solar panel installed on the roof. It’s time to repaint the roof. Kurumi was playing and sleeping well today. By the time we changed our clothes and went out, he was on my lap and worried.

車の 1 年点検が終わって帰ってきました。新車で購入して以来、点検はディーラーにお願いしています。今回も点検が終わり、綺麗に洗車までしていただきました。妻は「スムーズに動くようになったね」と感想を話しています。私はストーブの補修をしました。所々禿げてしまったホーローをパテで埋めて塗装します。ホーロー仕上げは完璧に直すことはできませんが、これでまた綺麗に使う気持ちが持てます。明日は煙突掃除です。クルミは今日も元気に遊んでいました。ソファーから落ちたおもちゃを私に拾えと吠えていました。

My car back after an annual inspection. Since I bought it with a new car, I have asked the dealer to inspect it. The inspection was completed this time as well, and the car was washed cleanly. My wife said, “It has started to move smoothly.” I repaired the stove. Fill the bald enamel with putty and paint. The enamel finish cannot be completely fixed, but it makes me feel like using it again. Tomorrow I will take care the chimney. Kurumi was playing well today as well. he was barking to pick up a toy that had fallen from the sofa.

今朝も氷点下の寒い朝となりました。クルミは私が声をかけるまでベッドで眠っていました。寒がりなクルミはベッドにヒーターを入れて暖かくしています。そして妻は暖かさそうな服を選んで着せています。クルミとの日々は忙しく、そして楽しいです。夕ご飯の後、クルミはいつも私と遊びたがります。そして少し遊ぶと眠ってしまいます。今日も楽しい日をありがとう。

It was a cold morning below freezing this morning as well. Kurumi was sleeping in bed until I called out. He is warmed by putting a heater in the bed. And my wife chooses and wears clothes that look warm for him. The days with Kurumi are busy and fun. After dinner, he always wants to play with me. And after playing a little, he fall asleep. Thanks for a fun day today.

今朝も冷え込みました。庭のバードバスの水は完全に凍っています。それでもプランターのイチゴの苗からは新しい芽が出てきています。空気が乾燥しているので、夜は夜景がとても綺麗に見られます。クルミは今朝も私が起きるまで眠っていました。昼間もよく眠るようになりました。でも、夕方に来た工事の人に吠えていました。警戒心が強いクルミは知らない人が来ると大変です。

It was very cold this morning as well. The water in the bird bath in the garden is completely frozen. Even though, new shoots are emerging from the planter’s strawberry seedlings. Because the air is dry, I can see the night view very beautifully. Kurumi was sleeping until I woke up this morning as well. He can sleep well in the daytime also. But he was barking at the construction worker who came in the evening. Kurumi has strong alertness that are difficult when strangers come.

妻の通院日、一緒について行きました。この歯科のビルには大きなカラクリ時計が飾られています。毎時 00 分になると音楽が鳴り出してカラクリ仕掛けが動いて面白いです。今日は時間が合わなかったのでその動きは見ることができませんでした。帰り道、妻と米粉のパンを買って帰りました。気温が低い日でしたが、今日も快晴、陽の暖かさに囲まれてクルミはリラックスできました。夕方のニュースではコロナウィルスに感染された新規患者数が今日も急増したことを報じていました。早く 3 回目のワクチン接種をしてもらいたいです。

I followed my wife she went to the dentist today. This dental building has a large Karakuri clock. At 00 minutes every hour, the music starts to play and the karakuri moves, which is interesting. I couldn’t see the movement because I didn’t have the time today. On our way home, We bought rice flour bread and went home. It was a cold day, but today the Kurumi was relaxed, surrounded by the warmth of the sun. Evening news reported that the number of new cases infected with the coronavirus surged today. I want to get the third vaccination as soon as possible.
