昨夜は東北地方で発生した大きな地震で目を覚ましてしまいました。11 年前に発生した地震の箇所と近いようです。数十センチの津波も観測されたとのことでこの地域の人は大変だったと思います。妻と私は宿泊施設にあるテニスコートで午前中の時間を過ごしました。幸いにも天気に恵まれて楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。二人でスクールに通っている成果が少し見られると嬉しくなります。サーブからラリーを始めて、最後はボレーで決める、といった芸当もできるようになりました。午後は箱根強羅公園にクルミと一緒にでかけました。この時期は花がまだ少ないのですが、クルミは坂のある公園をたくさん歩いていました。今夜はきっと疲れて良く眠ることでしょう。

Fortunately, I was blessed with the weather and had a good time. It would be great if we could see some of the results of going to school together. We can now do tricks such as starting the rally from the serve and deciding on the volley at the end. In the afternoon, we went to Hakone Gora Park with Kurumi. There are still few flowers at this time, but he was walking a lot in the park with slopes. I’m sure he’ll be tired and sleeps well tonight.

クルミと一緒に久しぶりのドライブです。小田原で昼食を摂り、今日から箱根の宮城野に泊まります。新型コロナウイルスの感染がまだ落ち着いていませんが、以前から予定していた旅行なので実行することにしました。家から離れて、妻にものんびりしてもらえたら幸いです。天気も良く、のんびりとした旅行ができそうです。ランチは小田原のカフェでいただきました。小田原城が見える場所です。桜の蕾がふくらんできていて、お祭りの準備が行われていました。

It’s been a while since I’ve been driving with Kurumi. We had lunch in Odawara and stay in Miyagino, Hakone from today. The infection with the new coronavirus has not settled down yet, but I decided to do it because it was a trip I had planned for a long time. I hope my wife can relax away from home. The weather is good and it seems that we can take a leisurely trip. We had lunch at a cafe in Odawara. This is the place where we can see Odawara Castle. The buds of the cherry blossoms were puffy and preparations for the festival were being made.

ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻が起きて以来、プロパガンダという言葉が聞かれるようになってしまいました。私たちも生活をしていて、見たり聞いたりする情報が信頼できるものであると信じています。でも、今、ロシアでは大変なプロパガンダが行われています。テレビのニュースでロシアの国営放送の生中継中に反線とプロパガンダを訴えるキャスターが飛び込んできました。多くのロシア国民がこの放送を見て、情報が信じられないことに気づいてくれることを願います。今日も暖かい一日でした。近くの公園まで散歩をしましたが、沈丁花の香りで心を癒されました。クルミは今日も少し元気が無い様子で少し心配しています。

今日は気温が一気に上がり、初夏のような気候になりました。今日もクルミは暖かい空気に包まれて元気に動き回っていました。でも夕食の後は急に元気が無くなって眠ってしまいました。いつもならもっと遊ぶのですが、少し心配になりました。耳が聞こえないことにも原因があるのかも知れません。きっと明日はまた元気なクルミになっていることと思います。私は一日、リモートワークで座り疲れてしまいました。

今日は気温が 20 ℃になってとても暖かい一日でした。クルミも暖かいと活発に動き回ります。庭に出てしばらく遊んでいました。日が沈む時刻も遅くなり、夕方まで明るく、私たちも少し長く外出していました。数日前に訪れたコーヒー豆店で今日はブラジルとホンジュラスのコーヒー豆を焙煎してもらって買いました。苦味が好きな私たちです。

The sun set late, it was bright until the evening, and we were out for a little longer today. I bought coffee beans bland Brazil and Honduras roasted at a coffee bean shop I visited a few days ago. 今日は気温が上がり、来月末頃の暖かさになっています。午前中は妻とテニススクールにいきましたが、最初は肌寒かったのですが、終わる頃は汗をたくさんかいてしまいました。庭の草花も緑が多くなってきました。ヒヤシンスの芽はずいぶんと大きくなってきています。水仙にも蕾がつきました。クルミは陽の光を眩しそうにしています。穏やかな時間が流れる週末となっています。来月の中旬から息子夫婦が来ることが決まりそうです。今日は帰国時に必要となる渡航前 PCR 検査を行なっている施設に電話をして、どのような段取りで行うか確認しました。このような手続きが要らなくなることを希望します。

Today, I called the facility that conducts the pre-travel PCR test required when returning back to Singapore to confirm the setup. I hope that such a procedure will not be necessary soon.

今朝、散歩にでかけようとドアを開けたらとても暖かくて少し嬉しくなりました。梅の花も満開になってきました。花粉が舞い散る中を歩いていると若い鶯の鳴き声が聞こえてきました。まだ上手に奏でることができない鶯の声を聞いていると微笑ましくなります。11 年前の今日、日本では未曾有の自然災害を受けました。多くの人が犠牲になったのですが、そんな今、ウクライナではロシアとの戦争で多くの人が亡くなっています。人が人を殺すことが起きていることが信じられません。ロシアの外務大臣の発言にも驚き、私は吐き気さえ覚えてしまいました。クルミは暖かい部屋で元気に遊んで、そしてよく眠っています。

I can’t believe it’s happening that people kill people. I was surprised at what the Russian Foreign Minister said, and I even felt nauseous. Kurumi plays well in a warm room and sleeps well.

今日は久しぶりにクルミと一緒に時間を過ごしました。妻は横浜へ買い物に出掛けています。最近は私が自宅で仕事をしているので、たまには妻に家事をしない日を過ごしてもらえて良かったと思います。午後、クルミとを連れて公園を散歩しました。公園の近くのカフェで昼食をとり、私ものんびりと過ごすことができた一日です。公園の帰り道、友人に紹介していただいたコーヒー豆店に行ってみました。生豆をその場で焙煎している店です。今日は時間が無かったので既に焙煎してあるコーヒー豆を買って帰りました。最近、また手回しのミルにしています。このミルは構造がしっかりしていて、豆を均一に挽くことができます。味も良くなっています。

I spent time with Kurumi today. My wife is out shopping in Yokohama. Recently, I’m working from home, so I’m glad that my wife sometimes spends days not doing housework. In the afternoon, I took a walk in the park with Kurumi. I had lunch at a cafe near the park and had a relaxing day also. On the way back from the park, I went to a coffee bean shop introduced by a friend. It is a shop where raw beans are roasted on the spot. I didn’t have much time today, so I bought coffee beans that had already been roasted and went home. Recently, I’m using a hand-cranked mill again. This mill has a solid structure and can grind beans evenly. The taste is also getting better.

クルミの行動を見ているとパターン化しています。私たちが夕食を食べている間は一人でおとなしく寝ています。食事が終わると起きてきて一緒に遊べというように吠えて呼びます。しばらくおもちゃで遊んでいたかと思うと、疲れたのか私たちの側で眠ってしまいます。そんなクルミに心を癒されています。今朝は通院のために駅まで歩きました。白梅が満開できれいでした。

We’ve been playing with toys for a while, he’s tired and fall asleep on our side. Such Kurumi heals my heart. I walked to the station this morning to go to the hospital. The white plum blossoms were in full bloom and beautiful.
