今日はまた初夏の暑さが訪れてきました。クルミの容体は安定しています。やはり、天候に左右されるようです。昨日から飲み始めた薬の効果も出てきているようですが、もう少し様子を見る必要がありそうです。近くのカフェには氷と書かれた布が飾られました。昨年からオーナーが始めたサービスです。朝の散歩を済ませて、私は一日中書斎で仕事でした。

クルミが我が家に来て以来、獣医の K 医師に診てもらっています。今朝、クルミを連れて K 医師を訪ねました。最近の症状をお話しして、クルミは癲癇の持病を持っていることが考えられてきました。時々、引付けを起こしたり、急にぼんやりしたり、そんな症状から診断されました。大きな発作を起こすことが無いので、先ずは 2 週間、脳圧を下げる薬を処方していただくこととなりました。最近の天候不純もクルミにとっては辛いのでしょう。この薬で少しでも良くなってくれることを願っています。

We hope this medicine will improve him even a little.

今日も初夏の暑さとなりました。クルミは暑がる素振りは見せていませんが少し元気がありません。時々起きてきて遊ぶのですが、直ぐにまた横になってしまいます。クルミが元気でないと心配です。明日もこのような状態なら獣医に診てもらおうと思います。小さな身体のクルミはこの天候不順な時期は辛いのかも知れません。家の窓を開けて涼しい空気を入れてやりました。

朝起きて、カーテンを開けた時に青空が見えると嬉しくなります。今月になって晴れた日は少なく、今朝は気持ちの良い青空を望むことができました。散歩をしていると木々の若葉も喜んでいるようでした。庭のイチゴの苗にも花が目立ってきています。クルミは久しぶりに庭で遊ぶことができて嬉しそうでした。昨日までは 3 月の寒さ、今日は 6 月の陽気。ちょうど良い天気になってほしいものです。

先週、息子たちと散歩をしている時に見つけた筍がどの程度成長しているか楽しみに家を出ました。今日は久しぶりに陽の暖かさが感じられる朝でした。筍を見つけたのですが、残念なことに押し倒されていました。小道の脇にあったので、車に轢かれたのかも知れません。起こしてやろうとしましたが、根元から折れてしまっていました。残念です。クルミはここ数日、ボーッとしている時間があります。そんなクルミを見ていると心配になってしまいます。早く、暖かい穏やかな日が続くことを願っています。

I left home looking forward to seeing how much the bamboo shoot I found while taking a walk with my son and his wife last week was growing. I hope the warm and calm days will continue soon.

今日も日照りが無い一日でした。時折雨も降り、そして寒かったのでクルミは家の中で過ごしていました。私は車のガラスについた油膜を取り除いてみました。先日、息子に教えてもらった洗剤というか研磨剤を使ってみました。短時間で油膜を落とすことができました。これで雨の日の運転でワイパーが音を立てなくなるでしょう。

It was a day without drought today. It rained occasionally and it was cold so Kurumi was spending time in the house. I tried removing the oil film on the car front glass. I tried using the detergent or abrasive that my boy taught me on the other day. I was able to remove the oil film in a short time. This will stop the wiper from making noise when driving on a rainy day.

午後からは雨の予報が出ていました。その前に散歩をしてみました。桜は散ってしまいましたが、多くの花が咲き出しています。藤の花の紫色に魅了されました。バラも咲き始めています。帰宅してから睡蓮鉢の掃除をして、株を植え替えてみました。今日は金魚たちは別荘で過ごしてもらいます。明日、水が綺麗になって、水道水の塩素が消えたら戻ってもらいます。クルミは早起きでした。朝 5 時に起きたので、私も少し寝不足です。今日は比較的安定していました。

We woke up at 5am, so I’m a little short of sleep. Kurumi was relatively stable today.

今日も朝から肌寒く、午後には雨となる一日でした。結局、一日中ガスストーブで暖をとっていました。こんな天気の日でしたが、クルミは発作を起こすこともなく、のんびりと過ごしていました。妻と相談して、今日は獣医に行くことはやめました。ウェブを通じて犬が痙攣を伴う発作の原因について調べていました。少しでも楽に過ごせるようにと思います。コロナウィルスの感染者数は徐々に減少していますが、今度は XE という種類に変異しているそうで油断できません。平日だからかも知れませんが、近くのワクチン接種会場は空いて閑散としていました。

It may be because it is a weekday, but the nearby vaccination site was vacant and quiet.

明日から都心のオフィスで働く息子をホテルまで送りました。高速道路は日曜とあってか渋滞が無く、とても快適なドライブとなりました。道すがら、息子とおしゃべりを楽しむことができました。お互いの近況を話し合っていると同感することが多く、親子であることを感じます。日本を出て、海外で働き、成長している息子を私は誇りに思っています。クルミは今朝も少し具合が良くありませんでした。明日の午後、獣医を訪れようかと妻と相談しています。今日も気温が低い日でした。クルミにとってはこの天候不純は辛いのかも知れません。

I sent my son to the hotel in downtown this morning. Son will work at the office near the hotel from tomorrow. I often agree that we are discussing each other’s recent situation, and I feel that we are parents and children. I am proud of my son he has left Japan, worked abroad and is growing up. Kurumi was a little sick this morning as well. I’m discussing with my wife to visit the vet tomorrow afternoon. It was a cold day today as well. This impure weather may be painful for Kurumi.

クルミは明け方に具合が悪くなりました。時々ひきつけを起こす症状が今朝また出ました。しばらく妻と世話をしていたら落ち着いたクルミです。この症状が出る原因がわかりません。ここ数日が気温の低下がありました。季節の変わり目に症状が出るような気もしています。妻はクルミのことが心配で、今朝のテニススクールはお休みすることとなりました。午後からは陽が出てきて少し暖かくなりました。それと共にクルミの具合も良くなってきました。そんな午後、息子夫婦と散歩をしました。筍が出てきているのを道端に見つけました。息子夫婦は明日、都心のホテルに移動して、月末にまた我が家に来ます。その時にどのくらい伸びてるか楽しみです。

It seems he get this situation when the season has been changing. There were cold days these days. My wife decided to absent tennis school this morning and taking care Kurumi. The sun became and warmer this afternoon. Since then Kurumi got well fortunately. I took walk with my son and his wife in such afternoon. We found the baby bumboo on the side of the road neat the bamboo farm. My son and his wife will be moving to downtown tomorrow and will come back again in 2 weeks. We are going to see the bamboo at that time how that will be grew.
