国道の銀杏並木は紅葉が綺麗になってきています。イチョウは徐々に緑色から黄色に葉の色が変わりつつあります。今年も多くの銀杏が国道に落ちています。それを道端で販売している光景は例年のこととなりました。息子の妻はそれを買ってきてくれました。我が家にある銀杏の殻を割る道具を使って面白そうに作業していました。
今日も日中は太陽の光の暖かさが嬉しい一日でした。昨夜、クルミは息子とたくさん遊んでいたのでとても疲れたのか朝までぐっすり眠っていました。

The ginkgo trees on the main street are getting beautiful with autumn leaves. Ginkgo leaves are gradually changing color from green to yellow. Many ginkgo trees are falling on main street this year as well. The sight of selling it on the roadside has become a normal year. My son’s wife bought it for us. She was working happily using the ginkgo nut shell cracking tool that we have at home.
Today was also a happy day with the warmth of the sunshine in the middle of the day. Last night, Kurumi had played a lot with my son, so he must have been very tired and slept deeply until morning.

良い天気の日が続いていて助かります。しかし乾燥して居るので、手荒れがひどくなってきました。こんなことでも季節の移り変わりを感じます。ハロウィンの週末とあってかニュースでは繁華街に多くの人がコスチューム姿で集まっているそうです。韓国のソウルでは人が集まりすぎて事故があったそうです。コロナの感染から解放されたことは良いのですが、事故は困ります。
クルミを連れて久しぶりに散歩に出かけました。秋の雰囲気を感じることができました。クルミは疲れたのか、夕食を食べた後は直ぐに眠ってしまいました。
今夜は私たち夫婦の結婚記念日も兼ねて家族でイタリアンレストランで食事をしました。47年の記念日となります。

It is helpful that the fine weather continues. But it’s dry, so my hands are getting rough. I can feel the change of seasons. It seems that many people are gathering in costumes in the downtown area because it is the weekend of Halloween. It seems that there was an accident in Seoul, South Korea due to too many people gathering. It’s good to be free from corona infection, but an accident is a problem.
I went out for a walk for the first time in a while with Kurumi. I could feel the atmosphere of autumn. Perhaps Kurumi was tired and fell asleep immediately after eating dinner.
Tonight, we had dinner at an Italian restaurant with our family, which also served as our wedding anniversary. It will be our 47th anniversary on 2-Nov..

今日は晴れて乾燥していたので洗濯日和、家のテラスにはたくさんの洗濯物が干されました。午後、息子夫婦と近くの家電量販店まで散歩がてら出掛けてみました。私の妻が愛用している掃除機の電池が弱ってきたので買い替えを検討してみました。多くの掃除機を見たのですが、結局、買う決断はできず帰宅、電池交換を試みることとしました。リチゥムイオン電池は取り扱いを間違えると発火の恐れがあります。きちんと温度センサーを確認して交換してみようと思います。
クルミは陽が陰る前に庭で少し遊びました。10分もすると家に入りたがってしまいました。今日も息子夫婦とたくさん遊んでもらってクルミは幸せです。

It was sunny and dry today, so it was a good day for washing, and a lot of laundry was hung on the terrace of the house. In the afternoon, I went out for a walk with my son and his wife to a nearby electronics store. The battery of my wife’s favorite vacuum cleaner was getting weaker, so I considered replacing it. I looked at many vacuum cleaners, but in the end I couldn’t decide to buy one, so I decided to go home back and try to replace the battery. Lithium-ion batteries may catch fire if handled incorrectly. I would check the temperature sensor and will replace it.
Kurumi played a little in the garden before the sun went down. After 10 minutes, he wanted to go into the house. Kurumi is happy to have a lot of playing time with son and his wife today.

今日も綺麗な写真が息子夫婦の旅路から送られてきました。この旅行は良い天気に恵まれて彼らも幸せでした。そして、夜、無事に帰宅しました。元気な彼らの姿を見ると安心しました。私たちには第5回目のワクチン接種の案内がきました。今年は2月、7月に続いて今回で3回目です。また新しい種類のウィルスの感染が広がっているので安心できません。
クルミは今日も元気にしていました。帰宅した息子夫婦がたくさんお土産を持ってきたのでクルミも目を輝かせていました。

Some beautiful pictures have been sent from the journey of my son and his wife today. The trip was blessed with good weather and they were happy. And they got home safely at night. I was relieved to see them in good health. We have received a guide for the 5th vaccination. This year is the third time following February and July. In addition, new type of virus infection is spreading, so we cannot be relieved.
Kurumi was doing well today as well. My son and his wife came home and brought a lot of souvenirs, so Kurumi was also happy with some fruits he can enjoy.

今日も朝から良い天気の一日でした。旅行中の息子夫婦からは素敵な富士山の写真が送られてきました。最近の寒さで富士山にも多くの雪が降ったようです。
私が仕事で外に出られないため、クルミは今日も家の中でのんびりと過ごしています。休憩時間にソファーに座るとクルミは直ぐに寄ってきて甘えます。夜は冷えます、今日もヒーターで部屋を暖めます。

Today was another fine day from the morning. Some wonderful photos of Mt.Fuji were sent from my son and his wife they are traveling. It seems that a lot of snow has fallen on Mt. Fuji due to the recent cold weather.
Since I can’t go out because of work, Kurumi is relaxing at home today. If I sit on the sofa during the break time, he will immediately come to me and spoil. It’s cold at night, so I’m going to warm the room with the heater today again.

今日は朝から快晴、陽射しが気持ち良い日となりました。クルミは窓から差し込む陽の暖かさを楽しんでいました。週末までこの天気が続くようです。旅行をしている息子夫婦もドライブを楽しめることでしょう。最近クルミは良く眠っています。私たちが買い物から帰っても自分のベッドで熟睡していました。そして夕方からはヒーターの前でいびきをかいています。
そんなクルミを見ていると「幸せ」な雰囲気を感じることができます。また、「幸せ」の尺度は何だろうかと考えさせられます。本で読んだことがありますが、知り合えた人の数が「幸せ」の尺度とも言われています。果たして私は何人の知り合いがいるといえるのかなどとクルミを見ていて考えてしまいました。

It’s been a sunny day since the morning, and the sunlight is pleasant. Kurumi was enjoying the warmth of the sun shining through the window. It looks like the weather will continue through the weekend. My son and his wife they are traveling will also enjoy driving. Kurumi has been sleeping well these days. Even after we returned from shopping, he was sound asleep in his own bed. And from the evening he is snoring in front of the heater.
When I look at such Kurumi, I can feel the “happiness” atmosphere. It also makes me wonder what the measure of “happiness” is. I read in a book that the number of people I get to know is also said to be a measure of “happiness”. Looking at Kurumi, I wondered how many people I knew.

今日も一日中暖房が必要な寒い日でした。クルミは今日もヒーターの前で温かい空気を楽しんでいました。私たちも今夜は風呂に入って温まりました。天気予報では明日からは陽射しが期待できるようで楽しみです。息子夫婦はレンタカーを借りて 3 泊のドライブに出掛けていきました。南国から来た彼らには寒い気候も新鮮なのでしょう、ドライブの途中から素敵な写真が送られてきました。

It was a cold day that needed heating all day today. Kurumi was enjoying the warm air in front of the heater again today. We also took a hot bath tonight for warming. According to the weather forecast, we can expect sunny weather from tomorrow, so I’m looking forward to it. My son and his wife rented a car and went on a three-night drive. The cold weather must be fresh for them from the southern countries, and they sent us some wonderful photos from the way to the destnation.

今日は気温が下がり、ガスヒーターを使って部屋を暖めています。クルミはヒーターから噴き出てくる暖かい風にあたるのが好きで、ヒーターの前から動きません。昨日はとても暖かい日だったのでこの寒暖差には驚きです。私は自宅での仕事で長い時間椅子に座っていました。

The temperature has dropped today and I am using a gas heater to warm the room. Kurumi likes the warm air coming out of the heater, so he stays in front of the heater. Yesterday was a very warm day, so I’m surprised by this temperature difference. I spent a lot of time sitting in my chair working from home today.

今日は朝から陽射しが強く、とても暖かい日となりました。息子夫婦が家に来て賑やかに時間を過ごしています。クルミも嬉しそうにしています。午後、木々が秋の色に染まっていくのを眺めながら M さんのお宅を訪ねました。歩いていても汗をかくことがなく、とても気持ちよく散歩を楽しむことができました。
クルミは赤い服を着て嬉しそうにしています。家に人が多く集い、笑い声が絶えないことは嬉しいことです。今回も遠くから来てくれた息子夫婦に感謝です。

The sunlight was strong from the morning today, and it was a very warm day. My son and his wife were coming home and having a lively time. Kurumi looks happy too. In the afternoon, I visited M-san’s house while watching the trees turn to autumn colors. I didn’t sweat even when I was walking, and I was able to enjoy my walk very comfortably.
Kurumi is wearing a red clothes and looking happy. It’s nice to have many people at home and constant laughter. Thank you to my son and wife they came from afar again this time.

今日は息子夫婦を空港に出迎えるために少し忙しい日となりました。昨日までの旅行で車の充電量が減っていたので早朝から充電作業を終えました。午前中の活動を終えて空港に向かい、途中のサービスエリアで昼食をとりながら再度充電しました。電池の寿命を考えるとこまめに充電を行った方が良いことを知りました。それ以来 50% を下回ったら充電するようにしています。空港までの道すがらラジオから「男性の更年期障害」という言葉が聞こえてきました。最近、私も仕事を終えてから気になっていることがあります。一度、受診してみようかと思いました。
今日はクルミとの時間はあまりとれませんでしたが、明け方に世話をしてやって、クルミも元気にしていました。息子夫婦が家に来てクルミも嬉しがっています。

Today was a little busy day to meet my son and his wife at the airport. I finished charging work early in the morning because the amount of charge in the car had decreased during the trip up to yesterday. After completing the morning activities, I headed to the airport and recharged my battery while having lunch at a service area on the way. Considering the life of the battery, I learned that it is better to charge it frequently. Since then, I charge it when it drops below 50%. On the way to the airport, I heard the words “male menopause” on the radio. Recently, I’ve been wondering about something after finishing work. I thought I would check it out once.
I didn’t have much time with Kurumi today, but I took care of him in the early morning and he was doing well. My son and his wife came to my home and Kurumi is also happy.
