犬を連れて近くの川まで来ました。ここの河川敷には多くの桜が植えてあります。ほとんどの木はまだツボミが膨らみかけたところですが、中にこの一本だけ、5分咲きです。

We took walk this morning with dogs at the liver side.  There are many cheery trees this area at Asakawa.  It is only the one tree already bloomed cherry about 50%.

睡蓮の鉢を掘り出して株分け、植え替えを行ってみました。驚くことに鉢の中いっぱいに根が張っていました。鉢底からも伸びるほどの根を整理、古い土を洗い流してみると 4 株に分けることができました。ケト土を使って元の鉢に 2 株、後の 2 株は直接小鉢に植えてみました。足りなかった土を近くの園芸店で買い求めたのですが、粒状なので便利です。両方の土を今年は試してみることになりました。無事、成長を続けてくれることを願っています。

It has been about 2 years the water lily grew up so I renewed the soil.  Root filled up the flower pot and there were no soil left.  I then removed old root then beaked bulb in to 4!  Renew the soil and put other pot for those other 2 bulbs.  I never had this experience the water lily soil renew.  Hope the bulbs are happier with new environment. 

今日は半年毎の定期健診で眼科に来ています。手術をしたのが 2012 年 9 月ですからもう4 年半が経ちます、網膜剥離を患って眼科手術を受けました。硝子体の萎縮により網膜が引っ張られ剥離したようです。水分から成っている硝子体は加齢によって小さくなる傾向があります。私は、この兆候が両眼に出ているので、定期的に診て頂いています。

It was Sep. 2012 so already 4 years and 6 month ago I had the eye operation.  The retina was detached due to the obsolescence of vitreous body.  This phenomenon caused by the age in general.  I do have the possibility in other side of the eye.  The doctor then recommended me to come and check every 3 months.  It was good today so let me come back again in 3 months.

毎年夏と冬に会っている旧友連中と今日は母校を訪ねてみることとしました。私たちが卒号した都立高専は現在、東京都立産業技術高等専門学校となっています。最寄りの駅は京急の青物横丁、あるいは鮫洲です。当時通学に使っていた青物横丁駅に集合し、ぶらぶらと母校まであるきました。みんなで集まった喫茶店やパチンコ屋、雀荘などはその面影もありません。確かこの辺だった、などと思い出話に花がさきました。鮫洲駅から蒲田まで移動。居酒屋でほろ酔い、中華で二次会。楽しいひとときでした。

We had our reunion today visiting our school where we have graduated 42 years ago.  Met at the station and walked the route to the school.  Coffee shop, pachino place, mahjong room there are no evidences we were talking and remembering the time we spend our time with nice memories.  Enjoyed the dinner both Japanese and Chinese restaurant with good foods and drink.  It was really nice time with friends today. 

週末、犬たちを連れてドライブに行ってきました。行きは圏央道、関越を使って碓氷インターから軽井沢へ。周囲に少し雪が見られましたが道路は乾いていて、快適な道でした。少し風が冷たい日でしたが、日差しがあって穏やかな週末でした。帰りは 18 号から 141 号を南下、いつもの清里高原でエレンさんを訪ねました。犬たちも覚えていて再開を喜んでいました。中央道須玉から帰宅、ぐるりと回ってきました。

It was nice and warm weekend.  We drove to Karuizawa and Kiyosato with dogs.  There was no snow on the road just fine and very smooth drive way.  We visited to the shop at Kiyosato where our friend operates.  Dogs were also happy meeting with her.

風もなく穏やかな日曜、犬たちを連れていつもの公園へ出かけました。着いて驚いたのは人がいつもより少なかったことです。日曜に来たためかと思いましたが、この時期は花が少ないからかも知れません。でもゆっくりと散策することができました。犬たちもドッグランで遊び、今日は疲れたようです。花が少ないとはいえ、梅、河津桜、福寿草、スノードッロプを見ることができました。

It was warm and nice Sunday today.  We spent a day at the park we come often with dogs.  Surprisingly there were less people today because there are not so many flowers this time.  Thus we could spend time slowly and enjoyed sunshine at the yard.  Dogs were also happy at the field.  Plum tree, Cherry, Snow drop and other flower we could saw at the park.

日本では 2 月 14 日のバレンタインデーにチョコレートのプレゼントが女性から男性に行われます。職場でもこの風習が行われていて、私のような妻帯者にプレゼントされるケースは義理チョコなどとも呼ばれています。しかしながら、貰うと嬉しいものであります。3 月 14 日をホワイドデーと呼び、今度は男性から女性へ、これは日本だけなのでしょうね。さて、何をお返しするか考えましょう。これもまた楽しです。

Chocolate has been presenting from a lady to a man at the Valentine’s day in Japan.  I also received some packages at the office as the GIRI chocolate because this is just a fun.  It brought me good feeling however even I know this is GIRI.  Then it would be the White day on 14-March now a man reply to a lady with something.  I know this is just the case in Japan.

クロッカスが咲き始めました。その花を定点撮影してみました。陽を浴びると開き出し、陰るとつぼめてしまいます。可愛らしい花です。春はもう来ています。

I have set the camera and pictured periodically from brooming to close the flower.  It is already spring.  The sun feels very warm at the day time.

昨年から心臓に障害がありことがわかったプリン君。毎日元気にしていますが、私たちの心配は絶えません。先週から寝起きの時に真っ直ぐに歩けない症状が出て心配になり獣医さんに診てもらいました。結果は良好で以前よりも数値が良くなっているし、レントゲンの結果でも心臓は大きくなっていないことがわかりました。新しい薬を始めたことが何か起因しているのかも知れませんが、獣医さんと相談できて良かったです。

Purin showed some strange situation these days.  We have visited to the doctor and get his diagnostic.  The results were good with better numbers and the heart size is not getting bigger by the X-Ray.  The situation became with the new medicine he started just last week.  It was nice we could meet with the doctor today without the reservation.  We wish Purin to be getting better with good care.

昨日、羽田からシンガポールに飛んだ息子とガールフレンドから写真を送ってもらいました。機内から写したものだそうです。富士山が綺麗に写っています。雲ひとつなく、快晴の日でした。やはり富士山には雪が似合いますね。フライトも順調、定刻に飛んだようです。

My son and his girlfriend went back to Singapore.  She sent me this picture took from the flight.  It was very nice day clear sky without any cloud.  I like the Mt. Fuji with snow like this season.  I wish we will be able to see each other soon.
