暑さが続き、テラスのズッキーニが元気に育っています。雌花と雄花が開花した時、受粉を手伝ってやる必要があります。これまでは自然に任せていたのですが、人の手で受粉してやらないと上手に実らないことがわかりました。花元に実がないのが雄花です。明日には開花することでしょう。
Our zucchini has been getting well these days with hot weather. There are male and female flowers needed to help pollination to produce. Wife learned this and enjoying this process very much.
二階のテラスを改装しました。これまでのテラコッタ貼りをやめて人工芝を張ってもらいました。今の人工芝は枯れたような色も混ざっていて、本物と見間違うほどリアルです。暑さはどうか分かりませんが、涼しくなったら犬たちをここで遊ばせてやろうと思います。
Refreshed the terrace with the turf. It is very real with the dead leaf color in the turf. I am not sure the temperature but wish dogs like this when the temperature goes cool we will play with them here.
今年の夏期休暇は今日から、来週の水曜までとなります。会社が指定した休みは 4 日ですが、週末と祝日を加えて 7 日間の連続休業となります。私の住む地域の天候はあいにくの雨模様、日照りの猛暑も困りますが休みの日が曇天だと少し気が滅入ります。でもこのような天気だと庭の睡蓮が花を多く付けます。今朝は 2 つ、水中を見ると蕾が出てきていて、この休暇中、睡蓮の花を楽しむことができそうです。
It will be a week holiday from today. Company set 4 days vacation this year adding weekend and a holiday on Friday thus it would be a hole week next I just lurex and do some house things. It is unfortunate the weather is not good cloud and rain these days. The sunshine and hot is tough but it makes disappoint this weather at a holiday. However the water lilies like this and I will be able to enjoy flowers next couple of days that is lovely.
プリンの心臓弁膜症が見つかってから久しくなります。その後、投薬を続けていて、心臓の大きさ維持に努めています。この数ヶ月、今度は咳をするようになり、検査を続けています。咳の原因が心臓肥大からきているものか、それとも気管支炎なのか切り分けをしています。タンが出ているような咳をしているので、先生は気管支炎と診断、その治療を考えています。気管支炎の炎症を抑える薬は心臓に良くなく、その兼ね合いを考えてくれています。来月 11 歳を迎えるプリンくん、少しでも長く一緒にいて欲しいと願います。
Purin has been medicating for his heart last more than one year. He would like to keep the heart size physically to avoid any side effect. However he is now having another problem with coughing. The doctor diagnosing the cause ether by the heart or bronchial infection. The type of his cough signs the infection but the medicine for it is not good for the heart. We are discussing the medicine arrange next 1 week to watch his condition with the prescription. Purin is going to be 11th next month. We really hope he will be longer with us.
2011 年の大震災の後、計画停電が実施された頃、ウチのサーバー類を保護するために UPS を購入、設置しました。当時は計画停電時に活躍したのですが、その後、これまでに停電を経験したのは 2 度くらいでした。導入後 4 年でバッテリーを交換しています。そして、今朝、エラー EE というコードを表示して UPS が故障してしまいました。設置している場所の問題でしょうか、内部温度が高くなることを気にしていたのですが、これも原因だったと思います。残念ですが、廃棄することとしました。
I installed this UPS 6 years ago when the disaster happened in Japan. Due to the planned power outage this UPS worked nicely protected the server system. However there were only a few times power outage happened. I replaced the battery 2 years ago and now the UPS failed this morning with the error code EE that means the failure in the unit itself. It is unfortunate but I have decided to remove UPS from the line.
今夜はテラスの菜園で採れる野菜でパスタです。ナスとバジル、とても柔らかくで美味しいパスタでした。きゅうりとトマトはサラダにしてくれました。小さな菜園で採れる量は夫婦二人だけの我が家にはちょうど良い量です。
Wife cooked the pasta dish tonight with vegetables from the terrace garden at our house. The eggplant and the vasile are soft and good. Cucumber and tomato for the salad with good dressing. The garden is small but just good amount we can get just for us wife and hasband.
CF-T2 の話を継続します。通信販売で申し込んだ HDD が届きました。今日は HDD を交換するところまで終了しました。光学デバイスが無いので、OS のインストールは後の作業となります。それにしてもネジが多い構造です。古いタイプの HDD ですが、「新品」と書かれていました。信用して開封です。
I have replaced the HDD today with new one bought by the Amazon net shopping. I just trust this is new even pretty old type device. The PC CF-T2 does not have the optical device so the work was done just replace the HDD today.
分解と逆の作業をしていきます。注意するのはケーブルのコネクターへのつなぎ、慎重に作業します。また、CPU のヒートシンクに塗布されているシリコン、せっかくなので追加しておきました。
Redo the procedure disassemble from the opposite steps. It needs to do carefully for the cable connection to the connector. I also add some silicone for the heatsink of CPU cooling.
ネジの締め付けトルクはいつも悩みます。でも適当な力で、が正解です。
I always worry about the torque for those screws but just do is the right approach.
ウチの勝手口はキッチンの横にあります。東に面していて朝陽がたくさんあたり、とても快適です。しかし、この時期は陽射しが強く、とても暑くなります。妻にたのまれて日よけを設置してみました。勝手口の庇にフックを取り付け、2m のポールをホールドできるようにします。そこにホームセンターで購入した日よけシートを取り付けてみました。葦簀という手もあるのですが、ここは今風にしてみました。
The kitchen is facing to East in my home. This is good location where getting a lot of sunshine in the morning but it has been very hot in summer. I put holders at the second entrance that is the East side of kitchen room. the sheet is 2m x 2m we bought at the home center. Hope this help cooling down in the morning.
週末、時間ができたので CF-T2 の分解、HDD を取り出してみました。USB 接続してみましたが、モーター音がしません。グググと動こうとしているような動作音がしますが、どうも回転体に問題があるようです。4, 5 年電源を入れていなかったのですが、やはり、動くものは動かしていないといけませんね。IDE インターフェース、古いタイプなのですが、安価なので買ってこの先に挑戦してみようと思います。
I tried to test the HDD from the old PC that wife brought to me. The HDD does not make any right sound from the motor. I am sure this is the issue PC does not operate. It has been more than 4 years wife did not use this PC. It would be good to use frequently those devices have a motor or any moving parts.
妻がその昔、使っていたパソコンが出てきました。Panasonic CF-T2 というモデル、Let’s Note の初代モデルになります。画期的なデザインで筐体も頑丈で気に入っていました。電源を入れてみたのですが、HDD は動いていないようです。解体して、修理を挑戦してみます。
Wife brought me an old PC that she used as the first PC experience. Panasonic made the Let’s Note model this is the one from the first generation. I tried turn on the power but the HDD seems not be working. It would be the good excercise for me to repair.
