冷蔵庫の買い替えを検討しています。家電量販店で各社の冷蔵庫を見比べていました。10 年前よりも電気代が半額になる、という看板があって、調べてみました。我が家で使っている冷蔵庫は 179w の消費電力、最近のものは 84w となっていて、確かに半分の電力で冷やすことができるようです。実際にはモーターの消費電力もあるのですが、確かに省エネルギーの設計になっているようです。技術の進歩に驚かされます。気がつけば今の冷蔵庫は 13年使っています。この先、あと 10年使うことを考えたら買い替えの時期かも知れません。今日はクルミくんとたくさん遊ぶ時間を持つことができました。
I am considering buying a new refrigerator. I was comparing refrigerators from different companies at an electronics store, and I saw a sign that said the electricity bill would be half of what it was 10 years ago, so I checked it out. The refrigerator we use at home consumes 179w, and the latest one consumes 84w, so it certainly seems to be able to cool the unit with half the power. In reality, there is also the power consumption of the motor, but it certainly seems to be designed to save energy. I am amazed at the progress of technology. I noticed that my current refrigerator has been in use for 13 years. Considering that I will be using it for another 10 years, it may be time to replace it.
