今週使う焚き付け用の薪を準備しました。クルミは薪の匂いを嗅いでいました。以前は木屑を噛んで遊んでいたのですが、今はもうやらなくなりました。今日も昼間は太陽の暖かさに包まれて穏やかに過ごすことができました。しかし、雪が多く降る地域では今年も記録的な大雪で苦しんでいます。妻とクリスマスの夕食をイタリアンレストランで食べようと予約していたのですが、キャンセルしました。元気になったらまた行きましょう。

Today, we were able to spend the day calmly wrapped in the warmth of the sun. However, areas that get a lot of snow are suffering from record heavy snow this year. My wife and I canceled a reservation for Christmas dinner at an Italian restaurant. Let’s go again when she gets well.
