私の住む地域の梅雨が明けたことが報じられました。例年になく早い梅雨明けとなりました。雨の時期が短いことは助かるのですが、今年の夏の猛暑と水不足が心配です。そして電力会社は「電力需給ひっ迫注意報」を発動しています。日本では多くの原子力発電所が停止していることと、火力発電に使用する燃料不足から電力の供給能力に制限があります。クルミは陽が陰った夕方、庭に出て遊びました。猛暑の日が続いています。

Kurumi went out to play in the garden in the evening when the sun was dark. The hot days continue.

今日も朝から強い陽射しが照りつける暑い日となりました。庭に水を撒いていてジュンベリーの苗が鉢植えに育っているのを見つけました。陽射しに映る緑が綺麗です。今夜はレストランのオーナーに招待されて誕生日を祝っていただきました。今月、妻と私は揃って 68 歳になりました。これまでの健康に感謝し、これからの幸せを願って止みません。人との出会いに感謝しています。

Tonight, we were invited by the restaurant owner to celebrate our birthday. This month my wife and I are both 68 years old. I am grateful for our health so far and wish for happiness in the future. I am grateful for meeting people.

今日も朝から快晴の天気、梅雨が明けたような暑さが朝から襲ってきています。昨日までドライブで消費した電池を充電してやりました。気温が’高かったこともあり、充電中に発生する冷却ファンの音が思ったよりも大きいことがわかりました。夕方、陽が陰ってからクルミと庭で遊びましたが、暑かったのかクルミは家の中に逃げ込むように入っていきました。

今日は朝から良い天気の一日でした。まるで梅雨が明けたかのような真夏の暑さです。雲がかかっていない富士山を見ることができました。クルミは私たちが荷造りを始めると私の膝に乗って心配そうにしています。クルミを置いて行くことはないのに、彼は私から離れません。天気が良かったので帰宅する前に公園に寄って一休みすることにしました。観光バスが多くの観光客を乗せています。ポストコロナの日々が始まっています。

It was a nice day from the morning. It is the heat of midsummer as like the rainy season had ended. I was able to see Mt. Fuji without clouds. Kurumi was worried on my lap as we start packing. We never leaves him, but Kurumi was worried. The weather was nice so I decided to stop by the park and take a rest before going home. Sightseeing buses carry many tourists. 今日は傘を使わずに済む天気でした。湖畔の公園を散策しました。ラベンダーの香りが漂ってきてとても癒されました。クルミはきれいに刈られた芝生の上を走り回っていました。その疲れが出たのか午後はよく眠っていて、私たちがガラス細工をしている間も静かにしていました。のんびりとできた一日が過ぎました。

It was a weather today without using an umbrella. We took a walk in the lakeside park. The scent of lavender drifted and we were very healed. Kurumi was running around on a cleanly mowed lawn. Perhaps he was tired, he slept well in the afternoon and kept quiet while we were working on the glass. A leisurely day has passed.

今年もラベンダーの開花に合わせて河口湖まで来ました。梅雨の時期なので雨に降られることは覚悟してきたのですが、小雨程度だったので助かりました。まだラベンダーの花は咲き始めでしたが、畑の周囲はとても良い香りで楽しめました。クルミも久しぶりのドライブですが、何回も来ている宿なので早速、部屋の中で遊んでいました。

We came to Lake Kawaguchi this year as the lavender bloomed. It was the rainy season, so I was prepared to rain, but it was only a light rain, so we were saved. The lavender flowers were still in bloom, but we enjoyed the surroundings of the field with a very nice scent. It’s been a while since we’ve been tripping with kurumi, but since he’s been to this place many times, he was playing in the room right away.

献血に呼ばれて行ってきました。去年の 10 月以来になります。白血球の抗原が一致する患者さんに使われるため、日時が指定されてきます。私の血液を使っていただけるのは幸いなことですが、この患者さんも早く良くなられることを願います。今日は妻の誕生日です。帰宅途中にプレゼントを買って帰りました。今日もクルミは庭に長く出て遊ぶことはできず、少し不満そうでした。献血の疲れでウトウトしていたら、すぐ隣でクルミも眠っていました。

I was called to donate blood. This is the first time since last October. Since it is used for patients with matching white blood cell antigens, the date and time will be specified. I am fortunate to have my blood used, but I hope this patient will get better soon. Today is my wife’s birthday. I bought a present on my way home. Today also, Kurumi couldn’t go out to play for a long time in the garden and seemed a little dissatisfied. When I was tired of donating blood, Kurumi was sleeping right next to me.

昨夜は自宅の電源で車の電池を充電しました。家に供給されている交流 200V を使うので AC 充電と言います。15A で限られた電流なので時間を要しますが、夜間電力を活用して朝には 95% の目標値まで充電できるのは便利です。今日は自宅で仕事をしていて、気がついたら外に出ていません。クルミとも遊ぶ時間がありませんでした。

今日は晴れて暑い一日でした。ランチに行ったカフェでは搾りたてのオレンジジュースをいただきました。甘く、冷たく、とても美味しいジュースでした。クルミは聴覚が弱くなったためか、嗅覚は鋭く、庭のワイルドストロベリーの香りを嗅いでいました。日が陰った午後、クルミと庭で遊ぶことができました。

I was able to play with Kurumi in the garden on a dark afternoon.

今日は朝から曇り空です。夕方から少し雨が降り始めました。予報とは反して、気温はあまり高くはなりませんでしたが、湿度が高いので少し体を動かすと汗をかいてしまいます。クルミもこのような天気だとあまり動かずにソファーでよく眠っています。
