昨日の天気予報では今朝は大雨と言っていたので心配していましたが、曇り空で雨は降らずに安心しました。妻も朝起きて安心していました。そして、素敵な写真が送られてきました。天気が良くなって旅行も楽しそうです。私はクルミとの一日でした。夕食後クルミは私に寄り添って眠ってしまいました。

I was worried because yesterday’s weather forecast said it is heavy rain this morning, but I was relieved that it didn’t rain in the cloudy sky. My wife was relieved to get up in the morning also. And a nice photo was sent to me this afternoon. The weather is getting better and the trip seems to be fun. I had a day with Kurumi. After dinner, he snuggled up to me and fell asleep.

家のカーラが花を咲かせました。我が家のカーラは紫で、この色の花言葉は「夢見る美しさ」です。花を見ていると癒されます。残念ながら今日は朝から雨となりましたが、庭の芝と草木は喜んでいるように見えます。クルミはトリミングに行ってきて疲れたのか午後はよく眠っています。おもちゃで遊ぶこともありませんでした。

Unfortunately it has been raining since morning, but the grass and vegetation in the garden seem to be happy. Kurumi went to hair cut and was tired, so he slept well in the afternoon. he didn’t even play with toys.

台風 4 号が日本列島に近づいてきています。火曜には雨が降り出す予報が出ているので、午後から芝刈りを済ませました。小雨が降っていましたが、さっぱりさせることができました。庭仕事をしていて、ほのかに匂う甘い香りに気づいたのですが、金柑の花がつき始めています。クルミは今日も元気におもちゃで遊んでいました。夕方、氷をやったら、食器の中で上手に舐めていました。最後には小さくなった氷を咥えて食べてしまいました。

昨夜は友人と一緒に食事をしました。同じ会社で長く働いた仲間なので、昔話も楽しく時間を過ごすことができました。今朝から携帯会社の障害で電話が使えません。家の電話を解約したので夕食の予約をレストランに入れることができません。こんな日は予約が要らないレストランに行ってみようと思います。今日は少し気温が下がったのですが、湿度が高く、エアコンは止められません。クルミは気持ちよさそうに昼寝をしていました。

I had dinner with old friends last night. Since we worked for a long time at the same company, we enjoyed spending time with old stories. From this morning, I can’t use the phone due to a mobile company failure. I canceled my home phone so I can’t make a dinner reservation at the restaurant. On such a day, we will go to a restaurant that does not require a reservation. The temperature has dropped a little today, but the humidity is still high and the air conditioner cannot be turned off. Kurumi was taking a nap comfortably.

猛暑の日が続いています。リビングルームのエアコンを効かせてクルミと遊んでいました。小さな温度計を近くに置いて熱中症にならないように注意しています。一日中部屋の中に居るわけにはいきません。涼しい部屋と暑い所を行き来しているだけで疲れてしまいます。午後、買い物に出かけたのですが、クルミはエアコンの効いた車内で居眠りをしていました。電気自動車だと駐車中にエアコンを On にしても気にならないのですが、さすがに車の冷却ファンは唸っていました。

The hot days continue. I was playing with Kurumi by turning on the air conditioner in the living room. Keep a small thermometer nearby to avoid heat stroke. I can’t stay in the room all day. Just going back and forth between a cool room and a hot place makes me tired. We went shopping in the afternoon, but Kurumi was dozing in the air-conditioned car. With an electric car, I don’t mind if I turn on the air conditioner while parking, but the cooling fan of the car was groaning.

今日も猛暑の一日でした。夕方、クルミと庭に出たのですが、まるでサウナ風呂にいるような蒸し暑さに驚いてすぐに家の中に避難しました。こんな日は冷えたモヒートが最高です。庭からミントを採ってきてたくさん浮かべるとその香りが気分を落ち着かせてくれます。クルミは元気におもちゃを選んで遊んでいました。

It was a hot day today as well. In the evening, I went out to the garden with Kurumi, but I was surprised at the heat and humidity as if I was in a sauna bath, and immediately evacuated to the house. A cold mojito is the best on such a day. If I take mint from the garden and float a lot, the scent will calm me down. Kurumi was cheerfully choosing toys and playing.

今日も猛暑となりました。日本は今、太平洋高気圧と大陸からの高気圧が重なっているために気温が急上昇しています。会社から帰宅して私の部屋の温度計を見て驚きました。34℃を示しています。年に何度かはこのような高温になるのですが、未だ 6 月です。今年は厳しい夏となりそうです。クルミは暑いので庭に出られずにかわいそうでした。

パソコンが入った重たいカバンを持って久しぶりに会社まで電車で通勤しました。朝夕の電車は混んでいて、コロナウィルス感染問題が始まる前の状態に戻ったようです。しかし、戻っていないのは乗客全員がマスクを着用していることです。そして、銀杏並木を歩く人もマスクを着用しているのは少し違和感があります。梅雨が明けると強い陽射しが家を照り付けます。今年も日除けを取り付けました。ロープを使って雨の日は簡単に巻き上げられるように工夫しています。クルミとは短い時間の今日でした。

After the rainy season, strong sunlight illuminates the house. I installed a awning this year as well. I used ropes to make it easy to wind up on rainy days. It was a short time today with Kurumi.

私の住む地域の梅雨が明けたことが報じられました。例年になく早い梅雨明けとなりました。雨の時期が短いことは助かるのですが、今年の夏の猛暑と水不足が心配です。そして電力会社は「電力需給ひっ迫注意報」を発動しています。日本では多くの原子力発電所が停止していることと、火力発電に使用する燃料不足から電力の供給能力に制限があります。クルミは陽が陰った夕方、庭に出て遊びました。猛暑の日が続いています。
