今日は今年になって初めての出社日でした。会社でも感染者が発生したようで、なるべくなら自宅で仕事をしたいと思っています。しかし、月に一度は業務報告書を提出する必要があります。午後、少し早めに帰宅してきました。クルミは私が帰ると吠えて迎えてくれました。今日も寒い日でしたが快晴の空、陽の暖かさで部屋の中は夕方でもストーブがいらないくらいでした。

Today was my first day at office work this year. It seems that an infected person has also occurred in the office, and I would like to work from home if possible. However, I need to submit a business report once a month. I came home a little early in the afternoon. Kurumi barked and greeted me when I returned. It was a cold day today, but the clear sky and the warmth of the sun didn’t require a stove in the room even in the evening.

今日も寒い一日でした。夕方、早くから薪ストーブを使って部屋を暖めることにしました。シーズンの今頃になると火をおこすのにも慣れてきます。煙突から出る煙をいかに少なくできるか、それをいつも考えて燃やします。太い薪に火が入るまでおよそ 1 時間、その後は安定した炎を楽しむことができます。クルミは今日も暖かい服を着せてもらいよく眠っていました。

It was a cold day today as well. Early in the evening, I decided to use a wood stove to warm the room. By this time of the season, I’m getting used to making a fire. Always think about how I can reduce the amount of smoke coming out of the chimney and burn it. I can enjoy a stable flame for about an hour later until the thick firewood is lit. Kurumi was dressed in warm cloth and slept well today.

今日もクルミは暖かそうな服を着させてもらってご機嫌でした。週末は自宅でのんびりして過ごします。今夜は妻と外食に出かけました。美味しい寿司を食べて私たちもご機嫌です。日本では連日コロナウイルスによる新規感染者の数が急増しています。寿司を食べながら、お店でもそんな話題でした。明日も感染予防をしながら過ごしたいと思います。

Kurumi was in a good mood today as he was dressed in warm cloth. We spend weekends relaxing at home. I went out to eat out with my wife tonight. We are in a good mood to eat delicious sushi. In Japan, the number of new infections caused by coronavirus is increasing every day. While eating sushi, it was such a topic at the restaurant. I would like to spend time tomorrow while preventing infection.

今日は午後からお休みをもらってクルミと外出したかったのですが、仕事が舞い込んできて結局は外出することができませんでした。仕事を終えてクルミと遊んでいるとリラックスすることができます。おもちゃが好きです。しばらく遊んでいたら私の膝に頭を付けて眠ってしまいました。妻が昨日買ってきた新しい服を着せてもらってクルミはご機嫌でした。

I wanted to take a day off from the afternoon and go out with Kurumi today, but I couldn’t go out after all because of work. I can relax after work and playing with him. He likes toys. After playing for a while, He puts his head on my lap and fell asleep. Kurumi was in a good mood when my wife put on the new clothes she bought yesterday.

明け方の空に飛行機雲を見ました。青い空に一直線の白い雲です。飛行機雲は久しぶりに見ました。このコースで飛行機が飛ぶことは珍しいです。散歩から帰るとクルミは眠そうな目で迎えてくれました。今日は妻が外出したので私とクルミは家で一緒に過ごしました。仕事の道具をリビングに持ち込んで、クルミの側で仕事をしていました。クルミは陽の暖かさに包まれて眠っていました。

I saw a contrail in the morning sky. It is a straight white cloud in the blue sky. I saw contrails for the first time in a long time. It is unusual for an airplane to fly on this course. When I returned from the walk, Kurumi greeted me with sleepy eyes. My wife went out today, so I and Kurumi spent time together at home. I brought my work tools to the living room and worked by him. Kurumi was sleeping in the warmth of the sun while I was working.

今日は仕事をしない日、クルミとの時間が多く持てました。妻とダイニングで話しているとクルミは近寄ってきて甘えます。ひとりぼっちでは寂しいのでしょう。おもちゃで遊ぶ時間も多く持てました。お気に入りのおもちゃを私が投げると咥えて持ち帰っています。しばらく遊んでいたら疲れたのかソファーでぐっすりと眠ってしまいました。

Today was a day when I didn’t work, and I had a lot of time with Kurumi. When I talk to my wife in the dining room, he comes up and spoil me. Kurumi would be lonely alone. We also had a lot of time to play with toys. When I throw his favorite toy, he bites it and take it back. After playing for a while, he fell asleep on the sofa, probably because he was tired.

先週の予報では今日の天気は雨か雪でしたが、低気圧の進路が変わったようで晴れ間がある良い天気に恵まれました。しかし気温はたいして上がらず、寒い一日でした。私は自宅で勤務をしていたのでクルミとは夕方からストーブの前で少しだけ遊ぶことができました。テレビのニュースでは聞きたくないようなトピックスが多く報じられていて、少し憂鬱になってしまいました。

According to last week’s forecast, today’s weather was rainy or snowy, but it seems that the course of the low pressure has changed and we were blessed with good weather with sunny days. However, the temperature did not rise much and it was a cold day. Since I was working from home, I was able to play with Kurumi a little in front of the stove from the evening. The TV news reported a lot of topics that I didn’t want to hear, which made me a little depressed.

太陽光発電システムを設置してから私は毎日、天気を気にするようになりました。陽が照る時間帯はバッテリーに電気を蓄積しています。バッテリーがいっぱいになった後は電力会社に電気を送ります。陽が陰った後はバッテリーからの電気で過ごします。深夜、安価な電気を買って 60% までバッテリーに電気を蓄積、そんな毎日です。今日は昼間、100% まで充電することができました。クルミはトリミングに行ってきました。今日はトリマーさんを少し困らせてしまったようです。自我が強くなってきたクルミです。

After the battery is full, it sends electricity to the power company. After the sun goes down, I spend time with electricity from the battery. At midnight, I buy inexpensive electricity and store up to 60% of the electricity in the battery every day. I was able to charge up to 100% in the daytime today. Kurumi went to trim. It seems that Trimmer was a little annoyed today. His ego is getting stronger now days.

今日は日照が無い寒い一日でした。寒さはもう少し続くようですが、近くの家に水仙の花が咲いているのを見つけました。午後、庭で薪割りの仕事をして、その後、芝に生えている雑草を取ってみました。芝も少しずつ緑色になってきています。春は近づいてきているのです。今朝、クルミは私が起きるまで寝ていました。夜も私たちが夕食を終えてソファーに座るとそばに寄ってきて眠ってしまいました。クルミはよく眠るようになりました。

Today was a cold day with no sunshine. The cold seems to last a little longer, but I found a daffodil flower in a nearby house. In the afternoon, I worked in the garden to chop wood, and then I tried to remove the weeds growing on the lawn. The grass is gradually turning green. Spring is approaching. This morning Kurumi slept until I woke up. Even at night, when we finished dinner and sat on the sofa, he came by and fell asleep. Kurumi is now sleeping well.

クルミは毎朝歯磨きをします。耳の掃除をして着替えます。クルミの持っている服の数は私より多いです。クルミは毎朝、おとなしくしています。妻は長年犬の世話をし続けてきました。今日も寒い日なのでクルミには暖かい服を選んでいました。少しずつですが日陰る時刻が遅くなってきました。夕方 5 時でもまだ少し明るい空です。明日も良い天気のようです。

Kurumi brushes his teeth every morning. Cleans his ears and change the clothes. Kurumi has more clothes than I have. He is quiet every morning. My wife has been taking care of dogs for many years. It’s a cold day today, so she choses warm clothes for Kurumi. Little by little, the shaded time is getting late. The sky is still a little bright even at 5 pm. It looks like good weather tomorrow, too.
