朝焼けが綺麗な朝でした。氷点下のなかなので、散歩は少しの時間にしました。今日はストーブの煙突のメンテナンスをしました。ブラッシングで煙突内部の煤を落とします。今回は塗装処理もやってみました。煙突部分は艶消しの黒。ベースはレンガ色にしてみました。色が褪せてきていたので、これで綺麗になりました。煙突掃除のついでに屋根の上に設置された太陽光パネルの写真を撮ってみました。屋根の塗装もやり直さなければいけない時期です。クルミは今日も元気に遊んで寝ての日でした。私たちが着替えて出かける頃になると膝の上に来て心配そうにしていました。

This time I also tried painting. The chimney part is matte black. I tried to make the base brick color. The color was fading, so now it’s beautiful. While cleaning the chimney, I took a picture of the solar panel installed on the roof. It’s time to repaint the roof. Kurumi was playing and sleeping well today. By the time we changed our clothes and went out, he was on my lap and worried.

車の 1 年点検が終わって帰ってきました。新車で購入して以来、点検はディーラーにお願いしています。今回も点検が終わり、綺麗に洗車までしていただきました。妻は「スムーズに動くようになったね」と感想を話しています。私はストーブの補修をしました。所々禿げてしまったホーローをパテで埋めて塗装します。ホーロー仕上げは完璧に直すことはできませんが、これでまた綺麗に使う気持ちが持てます。明日は煙突掃除です。クルミは今日も元気に遊んでいました。ソファーから落ちたおもちゃを私に拾えと吠えていました。

The enamel finish cannot be completely fixed, but it makes me feel like using it again. Tomorrow I will take care the chimney. Kurumi was playing well today as well. he was barking to pick up a toy that had fallen from the sofa.

今朝も氷点下の寒い朝となりました。クルミは私が声をかけるまでベッドで眠っていました。寒がりなクルミはベッドにヒーターを入れて暖かくしています。そして妻は暖かさそうな服を選んで着せています。クルミとの日々は忙しく、そして楽しいです。夕ご飯の後、クルミはいつも私と遊びたがります。そして少し遊ぶと眠ってしまいます。今日も楽しい日をありがとう。

It was a cold morning below freezing this morning as well. Kurumi was sleeping in bed until I called out. He is warmed by putting a heater in the bed. And my wife chooses and wears clothes that look warm for him. The days with Kurumi are busy and fun. After dinner, he always wants to play with me. And after playing a little, he fall asleep. Thanks for a fun day today.

今朝も冷え込みました。庭のバードバスの水は完全に凍っています。それでもプランターのイチゴの苗からは新しい芽が出てきています。空気が乾燥しているので、夜は夜景がとても綺麗に見られます。クルミは今朝も私が起きるまで眠っていました。昼間もよく眠るようになりました。でも、夕方に来た工事の人に吠えていました。警戒心が強いクルミは知らない人が来ると大変です。

It was very cold this morning as well. The water in the bird bath in the garden is completely frozen. Even though, new shoots are emerging from the planter’s strawberry seedlings. Because the air is dry, I can see the night view very beautifully. Kurumi was sleeping until I woke up this morning as well. He can sleep well in the daytime also. But he was barking at the construction worker who came in the evening. Kurumi has strong alertness that are difficult when strangers come.

妻の通院日、一緒について行きました。この歯科のビルには大きなカラクリ時計が飾られています。毎時 00 分になると音楽が鳴り出してカラクリ仕掛けが動いて面白いです。今日は時間が合わなかったのでその動きは見ることができませんでした。帰り道、妻と米粉のパンを買って帰りました。気温が低い日でしたが、今日も快晴、陽の暖かさに囲まれてクルミはリラックスできました。夕方のニュースではコロナウィルスに感染された新規患者数が今日も急増したことを報じていました。早く 3 回目のワクチン接種をしてもらいたいです。

I couldn’t see the movement because I didn’t have the time today. On our way home, We bought rice flour bread and went home. It was a cold day, but today the Kurumi was relaxed, surrounded by the warmth of the sun. Evening news reported that the number of new cases infected with the coronavirus surged today. I want to get the third vaccination as soon as possible.

今日は朝から雨の一日でした。気温は低いのですが、雪にはならず助かります。お隣さんも洗濯をしない日、ベランダに洗濯物が出ていないことを確認して薪ストーブに火を入れました。天気が悪く寒い日は早くから薪ストーブの暖かさに包まれるので幸せです。天気の悪さも忘れてしまいます。クルミもこの暖かさが大好きで、ストーブの前でのんびりとしていました。

Today was a rainy day from the morning. The temperature is low, but it doesn’t snow and it helps. On the day when my neighbor didn’t do the laundry, I checked that there was no laundry on the balcony and set the wood stove on fire. When the weather is bad and cold, I am happy because I am able to enjoy by the warmth of the wood stove from early on. I also forget the bad weather. Kurumi also loved this warmth and were relaxing in front of the stove.

今日は成人の日の祝日でした。今年から 18 歳が成人になります。これまでは 20 歳でした。成人を祝う今日、少し雲が多い日でしたが、穏やかな休日でした。S さん家族に誘われてフレンチレストランでコースランチをいただきました。店の計らいで私たち 6 にんのために店を貸切にしてくれました。コロナウィルスの感染者数が急に拡大しています。日本はこれを第 6 波として政府も対応に追われています。S さんはフレンチのシェフ、この店のオーナーと知り合いとのことでした。とても美味しいランチを皆さんと楽しくいただくことができました。クルミには少し長い時間家で待たせてしまいました。今日もおもちゃで遊んで元気に過ごしていました。

Today was a holiday on Coming of Age Day. From this year, 18 years old will be an adult. It used to be 20 years old. Today, celebrating adults, it was a little cloudy day, but it was a calm holiday. I was invited by Mr. S’s family to have a course lunch at a French restaurant. The restaurant was helped to limit table for only us 6 people. The number of people infected with coronavirus is increasing rapidly. With this as the sixth wave in Japan, the government is also busy responding. Mr. S is a French chef he knows the owner of this restaurant. I enjoyed a very delicious lunch with everyone. I made Kurumi waits at home for a little longer. He was playing with toys today as well.

少し気温が高くなってきたのですが、数日前に降った雪が凍って残っている坂があります。昼間も陽が当たらないのでなかなか解けません。私の散歩コースではないのですが、この週末明けに小学生が安全に歩けるようになることを願います。私は掃除機の修理をしました。フィルターのエラー表示が出たのでフィルターを掃除したのですが消えません。そこで分解して内部を水で洗浄してみました。これでまたしばらく使えると思います。クルミは私が掃除機を修理している間、庭に出て遊んでいました。どこに入ったのか服を汚してしまい着替えることになってしまいました。

It’s not my walking course, but I hope elementary school students will be able to walk safely at the end of this weekend. I repaired the vacuum cleaner. I got an error message about the filter, so I cleaned the filter, but it doesn’t disappear. So I disassembled it and washed the inside with water. I think it can be used again for a while. Kurumi was out and playing in the garden while I was repairing the vacuum cleaner. He got dirty and changed his clothes.

この時期、乾燥した日が続きます。加湿器を使っています。窓のそばに置いた加湿器からの霧がシクラメンの花に降り注いで花も喜んでいるようでした。今日は壁掛け時計の修理をしています。時計が時々、止まるようになってしまい、ムーブメントユニットを交換してみました。付属されてきた時計の針もデザインが良く気に入っています。この壁掛け時計はシンガポールで買ってきたもので長く使えたらと思います。クルミは今朝も良く寝ていました。寒さがもう少し続きます。今日も暖かくして過ごします。

During this time, dry days continue. I’m using a humidifier. The fog from the humidifier placed by the window poured onto the cyclamen flowers, and the flowers seemed to be happy. I am repairing a wall clock today. The clock sometimes stopped, so I replaced the movement unit. I also like the design of the clock hands that came with it. This wall clock was bought in Singapore and I hope it can be used for a long time. Kurumi slept well this morning. The cold will continue for a while. We will stay warm today as well.

氷点下の朝、昨日の雪が凍っています。屋根の太陽電池パネルにも雪があり、溶けるまでは発電ができません。気温は低いですが、快晴の空、お昼には屋根の雪も溶けて発電が始まりました。そんな今日、電力会社の安全確認検査が終わり、正式に小さな発電所として登録されました。午後、雪がすっかり溶けた庭に短い時間でしたがクルミと一緒に出ることができました。今日も薪ストーブで暖かくして過ごします。

Although the temperature is low, the clear sky and the snow on the roof melted at noon and power generation started. Today, the safety confirmation inspection of the electric power company has been completed, and it has been officially registered as a small power plant. In the afternoon, I was able to get out with Kurumi in the garden where the snow had completely melted for a short time. Let us stay warm with a wood stove.
