今朝の散歩ではブルーベリーの木に実がたくさん付いているのを見つけました。ウチの庭にあるジュンベリーの木にも気づくと赤い実が成っています。今日は庭師の方に来ていただき、庭の手入れをお願いしました。枯れてしまったオリーブの木を切ってもらいました。若い芽が伸びてきているので、これから大切に育てたいと思います。クルミは帰宅すると庭に出てきて迎えてくれました。

On my walk this morning, I found a lot of fruits on the blueberry tree. When I notice the Junberry tree in my garden, it has red fruits. I asked a gardener to come and take care of the garden today. He had cut a dead olive tree. Young shoots are growing, so we would like to take good care of them from now on. When I came home, Kurumi came out to the garden and welcomed me.

今日も朝から快晴の良い天気でした。燕がたくさん飛んでいます。ヒナの巣立ちと思います。周りの燕が集まって声援を送っています。巣立つ瞬間は見ることができませんでしたが、無事に飛び立ったことと思います。今日は息子がシンガポールに変える日。クルミも一緒に成田まで送っていきました。気温が高い日でしたが、エアコンの効く車内は快適でした。90% で出発して帰宅時の電池残量は 40% でした。往復 260km を 50% の消費で走破できました。徐々に電気自動車との付き合い方がわかってきています。

It was a hot day, but the air-conditioned in the car was comfortable. When I left at 90% and returned home, the battery level was 40%. I was able to complete 260 km round trip with 50% consumption. Gradually, I’m starting to understand how to use to be with electric vehicles.

昨日の荒天から一転して今日は快晴の天気となりました。朝から雲ひとつない青い空を散歩しながら楽しみました。畑のトマト、茄子がもうすぐできそうです。午後は気温が上がり、夏のような日となりました。明日シンガポールに変える息子と一緒に近くのカフェでコーヒーシロップがかかった氷をいただきました。クルミも一緒に連れていったのですが、途中で飽きてしまい、クルミは愚図ってしまいましたね。明日は成田空港まで往復です。電気自動車の充電を終えて準備完了です。

The weather changed from yesterday’s stormy weather to today’s fine weather. I enjoyed walking in the cloudless blue sky from the morning. It seems that tomatoes and eggplants in the field will be ready soon. In the afternoon, the temperature rose and it became a summer-like day. I had coffee syrup ice at a nearby cafe with my son he will leaving back to Singapore tomorrow. I took Kurumi with me to the cafe, but he got tired while we are drinking coffee, and Kurumi was foolish. Tomorrow we will make a round trip to Narita Airport. The electric car has been charged and is ready to go.

窓を打ち付ける雨の音で目を覚ましました。強い風と激しい雨は 11 時まで続きました。大きな被害が無く、安心しています。上空に入る寒気の影響なのですが、週末には暖気が入り込み、日曜は 30℃を超える予報が出ています。5 月としては記録的な暑さになりそうです。晴れ間が出てきた午後、クルミと庭に出てみました。雨上がりの蒸した空気に包まれました。草花は喜んでいるようです。

It’s going to be a record heat for May. In the afternoon when it was sunny, I went out to the garden with Kurumi. We were surrounded by the steamy air after the rain. The flowers seem to be happy with it.

今週は自宅での業務に追われています。クルミと遊ぶ時間があまり多く取れないのですが、そんな時は私の休憩時間に少しでも一緒にいてやります。膝の上で甘えたり、庭に出て遊ぶこともできました。夕方、ソファーの上で眠そうにしているクルミは退屈そうでした。今朝の散歩では木の実が青く実っているのを見ることができました。

家の近くの幹線道路脇にジャスミンが植えてあります。この時期、ジャスミンの香りが漂ってきます。通り去る車の風がジャスミンの香りを広げているようです。花梨の木の実は大きくなってきました。朝の散歩でいつもと何か異なることを見つけると嬉しくなります。クルミは今日も元気に遊んでいます。そして夕食の後は私たちのそばで眠ってしまいました。

The fruit of the quince tree is getting bigger. It makes me happy to find something different on my morning walk. Kurumi is playing well today. And after dinner he fell asleep beside us.

やっと安定して良い天気が続くようになりました。日中は暑いくらいの気温になりますが夕方からは涼しくなってとても過ごし良い一日でした。こんな日、クルミは庭に出て遊ぶのが楽しそうです。大好きなイチゴも毎日採れます。近くのスーパーマーケットに買い物にいった機会に駐車場にある電気自動車用の充電設備を利用してみました。この施設は急速ではなく、AC 通常充電なので 1 時間で 10% しか充電することができませんでした。

Finally, the stable and good weather has come to continue. It was hot during the day, but it was cool in the evening and it was a very nice day. On such a day, Kurumi seems to enjoy playing in the garden. He can also pick his favorite strawberries every day. When I went shopping at a nearby supermarket, I tried using the charging equipment for electric vehicles in the parking lot. The facility was not quick one and could only charge 10% in an hour due to the normal AC charge.

今日はクルミの通院日、ワクチン接種と先月処方してもらった薬のフォローアップをしてもらいました。この病院はとても混雑します。最近は待合室が混み合うので外や自分の車の中で待つ人が多くなりました。そこで、順番が来たら呼び出してもらえるシステムが入り、待っている私たちにとってはとても便利になりました。電気自動車だと、エアコンを効かせて車内で待っていられます。排気ガスが出ないので周囲にも気になりません。少し長い待ち時間でしたが、とても快適でした。

Today we went to the veterinarian hospital, and Kurumi had the follow up on the vaccination and the medicines he had prescribed last month. This hospital is very crowded. Recently, avoid the crowded waiting room, so many people wait outside or in their own car. Now, we have a system that can be called when it is our turn, which is very convenient for us who are waiting. With an electric car, I can turn on the air conditioner and wait in the car. Since it does not emit exhaust gas, it does not bother the surroundings. It was a little long waiting time, but it was very comfortable.

良い天気に誘われて清里高原までドライブすることにしました。クルミを後部座席に乗せていつものように高速を西に走りました。清里萌木の村にはお気に入りの店があって、そこのオーナーとは顔見知りになりました。今日も会えることができて良かったです。私たちと同年代なので話が合います。お互いに終活のことについて今日は少し触れることができました。日帰りで往復するには少し遠いのですが、高速を自動運転してくれる車になったのでとても快適でした。

Invited by the good weather, I decided to drive to Kiyosato Plateau. I put Kurumi in the back seat and ran west on the highway as usual. There is a favorite shop in Kiyosato Moegi Village, and we became acquainted with the owner there. It was nice to meet her today as well. She is the same age as us, so we can talk to each other. We were able to touch on each other a little about the end of life today. It’s a little far from going back and forth on a day trip, but it was very comfortable because new car that automatically drives at highway.

クルミは最近とても元気です。薬が効いたのか、それとも天候が良くなったのか、理由は分かりません。しかし、クルミが元気でいてくれることに感謝しています。家族が健康でいられることがなによりの幸せと感じます。今夜は寿司屋で外食をいただきました。破竹の焼き筍は今のシーズンしか食べられない一品です。とても美味しくいただきました。

Kurumi is very well these days. I don’t know why the medicine worked or the weather improved. But I am grateful that he is doing well. I feel happy that my family can stay healthy. We had a meal at a sushi restaurant tonight. Bamboo shoots are a dish that can only be eaten this season. It was very delicious.
