今日は昨日よりも気温が高くなり、ついにクーラーを使い始めました。ついこの前までは涼しくてストーブを使っていたのですが、この気温の急変に身体が慣れません。クルミは寒いよりも暖かい方が好きなのですが、夏のような暑さにはクルミも驚いています。
日本では明日から G7 サミットが広島で開催されます。議長国である日本の広島で開催されることには大きな意義があると私は思います。特に、ウクライナとロシアの戦争では「核」という言葉が聞かれるなか、絶対に核兵器が使用されてはいけません。広島、長崎で起きたことは地球上で最後のことにすべきです。

Today was warmer than yesterday and I finally started using the cooler. Until recently, it was cool and I was using the stove, but my body can’t get used to this sudden change in temperature. Kurumi prefers warm to cold, but summer-like heat surprises him too.
In Japan, the G7 Summit will be held in Hiroshima from tomorrow. I think there is great significance in holding this meeting in Hiroshima, Japan, which is the host country. Especially when the word “nuclear” is heard in the war between Ukraine and Russia, nuclear weapons must never be used. What happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki should be the last thing on the earth.

クルミには家で待っていてもらい妻の通院に一緒に行きました。去年の年末に怪我をして 5 ヶ月になりました。今日の診断で完治したことになりました。骨を折ると治るまで時間がかかります。これからは気をつけて、もう骨を折らないように願います。帰宅したらクルミはケージの中で熟睡していました。
今度の週末に F さんのお見舞いに行きます。F さんにプレゼントを用意しました。芝犬のおもちゃですが、言葉を不自由にされた F さんのためになればと思い、これを用意してみました。喜んでくれるといいのですが。
夕方は日曜大工仕事をしてきました。知り合いのシェフの厨房に取り付けられている棚が外れかけていましたが、これで安心して料理に専念してもらえることでしょう。

I asked Kurumi to wait at home and went with my wife to the hospital. It’s been 5 months since wife got injured at the end of last year. Today’s diagnosis has made a full recovery. A broken bone takes time to heal. I hope that she will be careful from now on and that she will not break any more bones. When we got home, Kurumi was sound asleep in the cage.
I will visit F-san coming weekend. I prepared a present for her. As for the Shiba Inu toy, I thought it would be helpful for F-san, she has a speech impediment, so I prepared this. I hope she likes it.
I’ve been working on carpentry in the evening. A shelf attached to the kitchen of a friend of mine’s chef was about to come off, but now he can concentrate on cooking with peace of mind.

今までは献血カードがあったのですが、最近はこれもアプリになってしまい、スマホの画面に表示されるバーコードで献血の受付ができるようになりました。年齢制限があるので、献血ができるのもあと 1 年となってしまいました。
昨日までの冷たい雨と低い気温が一転して快晴の暑い日となりました。今の時期はバラがとても綺麗です。献血の帰り道、バラを見ながら、最近オープンしたパイの店でアップルパイを買いました。
クルミは気温が高い方が元気なようです。今日は久しぶりに義理の妹が遊びに来てクルミも嬉しそうでした。

Until now, there was a blood donation card, but recently this has become an app, and it is now possible to accept blood donations with a barcode displayed on the screen of the smartphone. Since there is an age limit, it is one more year that I can donate blood.
The cold rain and low temperature until yesterday turned into a sunny and hot day. Roses are very beautiful at this time of year. On the way home from donating blood, I bought an apple pie at a recently opened pie shop while looking at the roses.
Kurumi seems to do better in hot weather. Today, my sister-in-law came to visit us after a long time, and Kurumi seemed happy also.

今日も朝から冷たい雨が降る一日となりました。気温が低く、時々、ストーブで部屋を温めています。昨夜はクルミが 1 時間おきに起きて動いていたので、私は寝不足の朝を迎えています。彼の様子が異なる原因が気温なのか、気圧なのか、季節の変わり目なのか、わかりませんが、クルミが元気でいてくれることを願う次第です。クルミはトリミングをしてもらい午後は疲れたようで長い間昼寝をしていました。私も彼の横で少しの間眠ってしまいました。
S さんから預かったパソコンですが、メーカーに問い合わせたのですが、保証期間を過ぎているために電話での技術的問い合わせには応えていただけず、しかも修理も受け付けないとのことでした。別の手段を考えています。

It’s been a cold rain day since the morning again today. The temperature is low, and sometimes the room is heated by the stove. Kurumi woke up every hour last night to move, so I’m having a sleepless morning. I don’t know if it’s the temperature, the barometric pressure, or the change of season that makes him look different, but I hope Kurumi is doing well. Kurumi was trimmed and seemed tired in the afternoon, so he took a long nap. I fell asleep next to him for a while.
Regarding the computer that S-san kept for me, I contacted the manufacturer, but they said that since the warranty period had expired, they could not respond to technical inquiries over the phone and would not even accept repairs. I’m thinking of another way.

クルミは今日も暖かくして過ごしています。天気予報では明日まで気温が低く、雨が続くようです。クルミと庭に出ることができません。残念ですが、しばらくは我慢です。
スーパーマーケットの駐車場で車の下部を車止めにぶつけてしまいました。良く観察してみるとこの部分は後輪よりも少し後になっているので、車止めがあると当たってしまうことがわかりました。今度からは気をつける必要があります。
今日は知り合いの S さんに依頼されたパソコンの修理に挑戦しました。起動しなくなったパソコンの原因は不明です。内部のボタン電池が死んでいたので交換したのですが、これが原因ではありませんでした。今回は難しい課題です。

I bumped the bottom of my car into a parking lot in a supermarket parking lot. Upon closer inspection, I found that this part is a little behind the rear wheel, so if there is a wheel stop, it will hit it. I have to be careful from now on.
Today, I tried to repair a computer requested by my friend S-san don’t know what caused the computer to stop working. The button battery inside was dead so I replaced it, but this was not the cause. This time it is a difficult task.

毎年 5 月の連休の間にガスストーブを仕舞うのですが、今年はまだ仕舞えません。今日も朝晩はストーブを点けてしまいました。クルミは寒さに弱いのでどうしてもストーブに頼ってしまいます。今日は冷たい雨の一日でした。
今夜は妻と外食に出かけました。気心が知れているこのレストランは私たちのお気に入りです。今夜も美味しい料理を頂戴して会話も楽しませていただきました。

Every year during the consecutive holidays in May, I put away the gas stove, but this year I can’t do it yet. I turned on the stove in the morning and evening again today. Kurumi is vulnerable to cold, so he relys on the stove. Today was a cold rainy day.
I went out to eat with my wife tonight. This intimate restaurant is our favourite. We had a delicious meal tonight and enjoyed the conversation.

今週は地震が日本列島の多くの地域で発生しました。そして、天気も目まぐるしく変わる一週間でした。自然の力には勝てません。そして今年はエルニーニョ現象が発生すると言われています。大きな災害が発生しないことを願います。
クルミとおもちゃで遊んでいると時間を忘れてしまいます。でもクルミはすぐに飽きてしまいます。

Earthquakes hit many parts of the Japanese archipelago this week. It was also a week of changing weather. We can’t beat the forces of nature. And it is said that El Niño phenomenon will occur this year. I hope that no big disaster will occur.
Playing with Kurumi and toys makes me lose track of time. But he gets bored quickly.

インターネット業者からルーターをレンタルされている M-San は、既に 12 年間もの間、同じルーターを使っておられました。そこで、業者にお願いして最新のルーターに交換してもらいました。WiFi の速度が極端に遅かったので私は気になっていました。新しいルーターでは 2.4GHz, 5GHz で同じ SSID が使えるので便利です。スマホでの測定結果ですが、通信速度が大幅に改善されました。
今日は早朝に地震があり、午後からは雷をともなう豪雨と、驚くことが多い一日でした。クルミは涼しくなってしまった今日はベッドの中で昼寝をしていました。安定した天気が続くことを願っています。

M-San rents a router from an internet provider, has been using the same router for 12 years already. So, I asked the supplier to replace it with the latest router. I was worried because the WiFi speed was extremely slow. New routers can use the same SSID for 2.4GHz and 5GHz, which is convenient. Although it is a measurement result with a smartphone, the communication speed has been greatly improved.
Today was a day full of surprises, with an earthquake early in the morning and heavy rain accompanied by thunder in the afternoon. Kurumi was taking a nap in bed today because it got cooler again. I hope the stable weather continues.

快晴で気持ちの良い一日でした。昨日の寒さから一転して今日は陽射しが強く、日向では暑いくらいでした。朝は通院で隣の駅まで電車で病院まで。駅前のシンボルツリーも気持ちよさそうに陽を浴びています。午後はクルミと一緒に近くのカフェまで行って休憩です。ベンチに座って妻とのんびりしていたら近所の W さんから声をかけられました。平日は人が少なくてのんびりできます。

In the morning, I went to the hospital and took a train to the next station to the hospital. The symbol tree in front of the station is also comfortably bathed in the sun. In the afternoon, Kurumi and I go to a nearby cafe to take a break. When I was relaxing with my wife sitting on a bench, W-san from the neighborhood called out to us. There are few people on weekdays and we can relax.

昨日の冷たい雨は止んで、朝から陽の暖かさを感じる日となりました。それでも昨日までの寒さが家の中に残っていて、午前中はストーブで温めて過ごしました。クルミはストーブの前で気持ちよさそうに眠っていました。
コロナウィルスの感染対応が昨日で解除されました。これからはインフルエンザと同じ対応となります。それでも感染するのは怖いです。しばらくはマスクを付けて外出することになります。久しぶりに自転車で近くのパン屋まで行ってみました。ヘルメットを着けていても風が気持ち良い午後でした。

Yesterday’s cold rain stopped, and it was a day to feel the warmth of the sun from the morning. Still, the coldness of yesterday was still in the house, so we spent the morning warming up with the stove. Kurumi was sleeping comfortably in front of the stove.
The Corona virus infection response has been lifted yesterday. From now on, it will be the same response as the flu. I’m still afraid of getting infected. I’m going to wear a mask and go out for a while. After a long time, I went to a nearby bakery by bicycle. It was a pleasant afternoon even with a helmet on.
