テレビで放映されていたのですが、車の給油口の向きはダッシュボードに表示されているのですね。私の車は車体の右側です。で、写真に撮ってみたのですが、この矢印だと右側なのか? なんだか左側に勘違いしますね。
I did not know that the mark on the panel shows the side of fuel supply on the car. Then I took a picture with my car. I was not clear with this arrow means right side of the car? It seems the left side. Actually my car has the port in right side.
よく晴れた週末、これからの薪ストーブシーズンの準備をしました。最後に煙突掃除をしていましたが、再確認をしておきました。薪を玄関脇に移動、寒い夜でも簡単に持ち込めるように準備です。寒い日は薪ストーブの炎を見ているのが好きです。
I have checked the chimney for coming winter season. It has been almost 7 months since I cleaned it before. Brought woods close to porch so it is easy to bring in even at the cold evening. We love seeing fire at the cold day.
いつもお願いしている職人さんに来ていただき水漏れの修理です。水栓台は簡単に土の上に置かれていただけ、このために水栓台が動き、水道の接続部に無理がかかって緩んできたものと思われます。最初に見た水漏れ箇所に加えて、水栓台の下の接続も外れていました。専用の工具と接着剤で簡単に修理していただけました。今度、水栓台の置き場もしっかりするように考えてみます。
The professional person he has been working for my house several years finally came and fixed the leakage area. He could find out another leakage that I was not able to identified. The water stage is just sit on the soil so it moved over years caused the joint broken we thought. He used the special tools and adhesive fixed them in short time. I really appreciated him. Let me consider the water station to be more secure in future.
昨日は 41 年目の結婚記念日、休暇を取って秋の軽井沢にドライブしました。昨日はあいにく曇天でしたが、秋の色を楽しむことができました。今年の始めに訪れた喫茶店、今回もご近所の常連さんで賑わっていました。軽井沢で一泊、今日は清里経由のドライブ。萌え木の村のエレンさんに立ち寄りました。エレンさんももう一年、仕事をすることに決めたそうです。また会いに行きますね。
It was our 41st anniversary yesterday. Take a day off and we went Karuizawa by a car. The weather was not good but we could enjoy the color of autumn. The cafe we visited in February was busy with local people as all ways. Stayed in Karuizawa and we drove to Kiyosato visited to the shop ELLEN today. The owner decided to keep the business one more year that was a really nice for us to visit again.
今日は「寿司の日」とのこと、昨夜行った寿司やさんで手ぬぐいをいただきました。漢字がたくさん書いてあります。100 ほどの魚に関する漢字、こんなにもたくさんあるのですね。外人と寿司やに行って「これは何？」と聞かれるといつも悩んでしまうのですが、魚の呼び名、漢字がこれほどある国は日本だけなのでしょうね？
It is the day of Fish today. I have got the Japanese towel last night at the Sushi restaurant. There are many characters are designed to the towel. There are around 100 characters for fishes I was surprised very much. Japan may be the only country has such many names and characters of fishes.
このところ気になっていたのですが、庭の水栓近くが常に濡れています。そこで、今日はその箇所を掘り返してみることにしました。案の定、水道の接続箇所で漏れがあることがわかりました。一度接着箇所を外さないと根治治療ができないと判断、まずはテープで応急処置、専門業者を呼ぶことにしようか、少し悩んでいます。
I was wondering why the area has been wet these days. I decided to see the inside of soil and found out the point leaking the water line. I do not have good idea to fix this issue completely now. I just taped the point and now thinking how to fix this problem. It would better to call the professional person.
来月から業務が変わることとなりました。新しい名刺を作っていただきました。1975 年に社会人となり初めての名刺を手にしてから 41 年目、そして数えたら 41 枚目の名刺となりました。平均すると毎年違う名刺になっていた、そんな企業人人生を送ってきた私です。
I will have the new job next month. The new name card was delivered to my desk last week. Since 1975 I have been working and this new card is the 41st past 41 years. This means I have been changing the title every year in average. I am such a man in business.
毎年健康管理を目的に人間ドックを受けています。以前から医師に「胃の状態は良いほうではありません。ピロリ菌がいることも疑われます。」と言われていました。今年の検査結果も同様、そこで除菌をしてもらうこととしました。妻も同じように診断されたので一緒に通院しています。まずは血液検査、本当にピロリ菌がいるのか、結果は少し先になります。正しく理解するための小雑誌をいただきました。妻と読んで勉強しています。
I have been taking annual health check. The doctor has been informing me about the fear I may have helicobacter pylori highly possible. The doctor repeated to me with the result from the check this year. Wife has the same situation so we decided to go to the hospital wether this is right or not. Wife and I are thinking we might have the pylori by the record. We went to the hospital and started from the investigation. The result will be informed in about one month. We got the booklet for us to understand the process.
今日から明日にかけてが今月の満月になります。今夜は雲が無く、綺麗な月が見られます。妻との夜道も明るく照らしてくれました。
While wife and I were walking back to home it was so bright the moon. It is the full moon this weekend. We have good weather this weekend, appreciated.
晴れると天気予報では言っていたのですが、残念ながら曇天の一日となりました。いつもの公園へコスモスを見にでかけました。ちょうど満開を迎えた頃で、この先 10 月末頃までが見頃のようです。犬たちも連れていきました。たくさん歩いたので今日は疲れて良く眠ることでしょう。
Visited to the park and see cosmoses. The season just begins continues to the end of this month. It is cloudy all day today even a weather report estimated the clear sky. Dogs also enjoyed a lot so they will get good sleep this evening for sure.
