今朝も早起きしました。5:30 に起きて私と一緒にリビングでのんびりしていました。今朝は小雨が降っています。この先雨から雪になるとかで、寒い一日になりそうです。しばらくオモチャで遊んでいましたがベッドに潜り込んでしまいました。今日も楽しくやりましょうね。

寒い日が続いていますが、日中は太陽の暖かさにより助かっています。その暖かさに誘われて少し遠くまで歩いてみました。道すがら梅の花が咲いているのを見つけ、春が近いことを感じています。新型コロナウィルスの新規感染者の数は先週までの 2,000 人超えといった状況は無くなりましたが、相変わらず 1,500 人程度発生していて、重傷者の数も多くなっています。感染が始まってから 1 年が経ってしまいました。連日、テレビのニュースはコロナのテーマで始まっています。いつも書いていることなのですが、本当に早く落ち着いてもらいたいものです。

車のホィールを傷つけていると気になってしまいます。気をつけて走行しているのですが、砂利敷きの駐車場でつい、傷を付けてしまいます。深い傷ではないのですが、自分での修復を試みることとしました。320番と800番のやすりで目だたないようになったので、まずはこのままとすることにしました。塗装と仕上げを行えば良いのですが、自信がありません。パテ塗りと塗装で経験を重ねてみたいと思います。最近は光硬化式のパテがあるので便利です。

外出自粛のため、外に出る機会がめっきりと減ってしまいました。少しでも身体を動かそうと散歩をしています。2km のコースをのんびり歩いていますが、途中の長い階段を登ると汗が滲んできます。150 段くらいあります。行き交う人と朝の挨拶ができるのも楽しみの一つになりました。

ストーブの季節になると焼き芋を作っています。適当な大きさのサツマイモを選びます。アルミホィールで包んでストーブの上に乗せておきます。時々、回転しながら良く焼くと、ほくほくに出来上がります。私たちはこれを翌朝の食事に楽しんでいます。サツマイモは日光に充てると甘さが増すそうで、我が家の窓際に置いています。

このファンは 6 年前に購入して使っています。ストーブの上に置いて、温度差を電圧に変換するペルチェ効果を利用してモーターを駆動しています。ペルチェ素子は電圧と温度の双方向変換が行えるもので、冷却と加熱が簡単に行えます。さて、このファンに使われている素子はどの程度の電圧が出るのか知りたく、電圧計を取り付けてみました。ストーブの温度が 200 ℃くらいで約 1 V の電圧が発生していました。世の中にはもっと効率の良い素子もあると思いますが、実際に測定してみることができました。メーターの針が小さいので遠くからは読みにくいですが、ソファーで座っていても温度を知ることができそうです。

外出自粛の生活が始まりました。今日はこんな工作をして過ごしてみました。2 線式の電圧表示器があることを知り、Amazon で購入してみました。残念ながら 4 点のうち 1 点は表示が出ない不具合を示しました。木工細工をしてプリント基板を囲むような形を作ってみました。私の車には電圧計が無いので、この電圧計を設置してみました。こんなことをして過ごした週末です。

過ぎてしまいましたが、先週 12 月 29 日はクルミの誕生日でした。11 歳になりました。我が家の一員となって久しいクルミは我が家で飼った 4 頭目の愛犬になります。チャオ、クッキー、プリン、クルミと名前を付けてきました。それぞれに性格が異なっていて一緒に生活をしているととても楽しいです。中でもこのクルミはおっとりした子です。私たちものんびり生活になってきて、一緒にのんびり、ゆっくりと時を楽しんでいます。
It’s past, but last week December 29th was Kurumi’s birthday. He is now 11 years old. Kurumi, he have been a member of our family for a long time, he is the fourth pet dog we have kept at home. We have named them Chao, Cookie, Purin and Kurumi. It’s a lot of fun to live together with each dog having a different personality (?). Above all, this Kurumi is a calm child. We have become a laid-back life, and we are relaxing together and enjoying the time slowly.
