今朝もまだ暗いうちから一緒に起きてリビングでのんびりすることができました。クルミは気に入った場所でまた眠ってしまいます。朝の散歩で鶯の鳴く声を聞くことができました。今シーズン初めてのことです。ホオジロやメジロの姿も見ることができて清々しい時間を過ごすことができました。今日もたっぷりの陽の光に包まれて穏やかに過ごすことができました。

I was able to get up together and relax in the living room this morning while it was still dark. Kurumi falls asleep again wherever he like. I was able to hear the warbler singing during the morning walk. It was the first time this season. I was able to spend a refreshing time by seeing the appearance of buntings and white-eyes. We were able to spend a peaceful time today surrounded by plenty of sunlight.

朝 5 時半に起きたクルミと私はリビングで空が明るくなるのを待っています。今日の朝焼けはとても綺麗でした。そして散歩を始める頃には青空が広がっています。梅の花が青い空を背景にとても爽やかに見えました。クルミはこのソファーがお気に入りで昼間のほとんどの時間をここで過ごしています。今日もたくさん遊びました。そしてぐっすりとおやすみなさい。

Kurumi and I woke up at 5:30 in the morning waiting for the sky to brighten in the living room. The sunrise today was very beautiful. And by the time I start my daily walk, the blue sky is spreading. The plum blossoms looked very refreshing against the blue sky. Kurumi loves this sofa and spend most of the day here. He played a lot today. And good night.

帰宅するといつもクルミは吠えて私を迎えてくれます。まるで「お帰りなさい」と言っているようですが、犬の気持ちはわかりません。いつものようにおもちゃで遊んで早くに眠ってしまいました。今日もストーブで焼き芋を作っています。部屋の中はいい匂いになってきました。

Whenever I get home, Kurumi barks and welcomes me. It’s like saying “Welcome back to home”, but I don’t understand the dog’s feelings. He played with toys as usual and fell asleep early. I’m making grilled potatoes on the stove today as well. The inside of the room smelled good.

今日は暖かい日でした。昼間は 4 月並みの気温となった日曜でした。天気予報によれば、この先も天気が良い日が続くようなので、私は庭仕事をすることにしました。芝の張り替えです。日当たりが少し悪い部分の芝には雑草や苔が生えてきてしまいました。その部分を剥がして、硬くなった土を耕しました。この後、古くなった土を新しい土に入れ替えて、新しい芝を張っていきます。この夏は綺麗な緑を見せてくれると思います。

It was a warm day today. It was Sunday the temperature was about the same as April. According to the weather forecast, the weather will continue to be fine next couple of days, so I decided to work in the garden. I challenge the replacement of the turf. Weeds and moss have grown on the grass in the part where the sunlight is a little bad. I peeled off that part and cultivated the hardened soil. After this, the old soil will be replaced with new soil and new grass will be laid. I think it will show us beautiful green this summer.

この時期にしては暖かい日となりました。朝は少し曇っていましたが、直ぐに晴れて、日光の暖かさが嬉しい一日でした。クルミは赤いセーターを着てすごしました。私たちがテニススクールに行っている間は家で留守番でしたね。今日も食事は完食、元気なクルミです。

It was a warm day for this time of year. It was a little cloudy in the morning, but it soon cleared up and I was happy with the warmth of the sunlight. Kurumi wore a red sweater. He was at home while we were at tennis school. The meal is complete today and the Kurumi is fine.

今日のクルミはトリミングに行きました。月に一度の大嫌いな時間です。トリマーさんを困らせるようで思ったようにカットしてくれません。無理矢理は可哀想ですが、他の犬は大人しくしているのに、クルミは少しわがままに育ってしまいました。でも、シャンプーしてもらってさっぱりしました。

Kurumi went trimming (haircut) today. It’s a time he hate once a month. It seems to bother trimmer and doesn’t cut his hair as I expected. I’m sorry to force him, but Kurumi has grown up a little selfishly, even though the other dogs are quiet. But he got shampoo and it was refreshing.

今朝もクルミは首の周りをマッサージしてもらって気持ちよさそうにしていました。今日も元気なクルミです。いつものように朝食を食べて一眠りしてしまいます。11 歳を過ぎてから睡眠時間がとっても長くなったように思えます。

This morning also, Kurumi had a massage around their necks, which made him feel good. It is a healthy him today. Kurumi eats breakfast as usual and fall asleep. It seems that his sleep time has become very long since he was 11 years old.

スマートスピーカーを使って FM 放送を聞いています。音声で選局できるので便利です。ところが、先週から「この地域ではその局に接続できません」と言うメッセージが出るようになりました。dadiko というアプリケーションです。ネットで同じ問題を抱えた記事を見て、私も調べてみたら、ここは大阪地域となっていました。宅内のネットワーク環境は変更していないのですが、IPS 側で何かがあったのかも知れません。サポートページから正しい地域を入力しておきました。数日で修復できるとのことでしたが、夜には修復されていました。おかしなことが起きますね。

I’m listening to FM broadcasts using my smart speaker. It is convenient because I can select the channel by voice. However, from last week, I started getting a message saying “Can’t connect to that station in this area.” It is an application called dadiko. I saw an article on the internet that had the same problem, and when I looked it up, here is in the Osaka area. I haven’t changed the network environment in my house, but there may have been something on the IPS side. I have entered the correct region from the support page. It can be repaired in a few days that the site says but already fixed in the evening a few hours later. Weird things happen.

クルミの夕食時刻は 6 時に決めています。クルミには時間が分かるのでしょうか 5 時半を過ぎると眠りから覚めてご飯の催促を始めます。催促といっても騒ぐのでは無く、人の顔を見つめているだけです。ずっと見ていられると可哀想になってしまうのですが、こちらも我慢です。時間は守るようにしています。夕食後はお気に入りのおもちゃで遊びます。そしてまたストーブの前で眠ってしまいます。

Kurumi’s dinner time is set at 6 PM. Kurumi might know the time. After 5:30 PM, he wakes up from sleep and start urging food. He doesn’t make noise, but he just stare at wife’s faces. It makes us feel sorry if we can watch him all the time, but we are patient. We try to keep time. After dinner, play with his favorite toys. And again he fall asleep in front of the stove.

今日は久しぶりの出社日だったので、クルミとの時間は少しでした。クルミは一日に二食の生活をしています。帰宅したらちょうど夕食時、おねだりをしているクルミがかわいいです。夕食後は少し一緒に遊べましたね。そして直ぐに眠りについています。私は夕方に散歩をしてみました。今日は天気の変化が激しい一日でした。歩いていて夕陽に染まる雲がきれいで、しばし眺めていました。

Today was my business day at office, so I had a little time with Kurumi. He has two meals a day. When I get home, Kurumi was begging for dinner are cute. After dinner, we were able to play together for a while. And soon he is asleep. I took a walk in the evening. Today was a day of drastic changes in the weather. As I was walking, the clouds dyed in the setting sun were beautiful and I was looking at them for a while.
