曇った日でしたが、気温が少し高く、今日は出かけることとしました。ショッピングモールで買い物している間、クルミはドッグホテルで休憩。帰り道、公園に寄って散歩しました。桜並木が立派な公園です。河津桜の蕾はもう大きくなりかけています。春が近いことを感じることができました。

It was a cloudy day, but the temperature was a little high and we decided to go out today. Kurumi takes a break at the dog hotel while we were shopping at the shopping mall. On the way back, we stopped by the park and took a walk. It is a park with a splendid row of cherry blossom trees. The buds of Kawazu cherry blossoms are getting bigger. I could feel that spring was soon to come.

寒い日はストーブの暖かさが嬉しいです。薪ストーブに火を入れる前はガスストーブで暖をとっています。クルミはストーブから出る暖かい風が好きです。何故か舌をぺろぺろ、風を舐めるような仕草をします。そして、暖かくなるとベッドで寝てしまいました。今日も薪ストーブの暖かさに包まれることにしましょう。私は今日も自宅でテレワークでした。

最近はなるべく現金での支払いをやめています。硬貨の汚れが気になることもあるのですが、キャッシュレスだと支払いもスムースです。しかし、支払いの時に発行されるレシートの多さには驚きます。店の明細が記載されたレシート、ポイントカードの記録とキャッシュレスの記録。これらの紙も無くなると良いですね。キャッシュレスでペーパーレス、ついでにポイントレスでも良いのではないでしょうか？

快晴の天気に恵まれました。クルミは庭で遊ぶのが大好きです。しばらく遊んだ後は自分から家に入ってきます。暖かい陽に包まれて幸せな一時でした。午後はお気に入りのベッドで昼寝でした。今日、東京の新規感染者は 600 人程度に減りましたが、月曜はいつも少ない曜日です。明日以降の傾向が気になりますが、確実に減ってきていることを期待します。

昨夜の雪は明け方には雨に変わりました。雪が積もることが無くほっとした朝でした。坂が多いこの地区は雪が降ると除雪作業をしなければならず大変です。でも今朝はゆっくりとすることができました。でも気温が低く、小雨が降り続いています。ストーブに朝から火を入れることにして、家でゆっくりすることとしました。クルミは毎朝のマッサージがお気に入りです。今朝も首筋をマッサージされて気持ちよさそうにしていました。新型コロナウィルスの新規感染者数は減少傾向にあります。このまま、国民全員で辛抱です。

今朝も早起きしました。5:30 に起きて私と一緒にリビングでのんびりしていました。今朝は小雨が降っています。この先雨から雪になるとかで、寒い一日になりそうです。しばらくオモチャで遊んでいましたがベッドに潜り込んでしまいました。今日も楽しくやりましょうね。

寒い日が続いていますが、日中は太陽の暖かさにより助かっています。その暖かさに誘われて少し遠くまで歩いてみました。道すがら梅の花が咲いているのを見つけ、春が近いことを感じています。新型コロナウィルスの新規感染者の数は先週までの 2,000 人超えといった状況は無くなりましたが、相変わらず 1,500 人程度発生していて、重傷者の数も多くなっています。感染が始まってから 1 年が経ってしまいました。連日、テレビのニュースはコロナのテーマで始まっています。いつも書いていることなのですが、本当に早く落ち着いてもらいたいものです。

車のホィールを傷つけていると気になってしまいます。気をつけて走行しているのですが、砂利敷きの駐車場でつい、傷を付けてしまいます。深い傷ではないのですが、自分での修復を試みることとしました。320番と800番のやすりで目だたないようになったので、まずはこのままとすることにしました。塗装と仕上げを行えば良いのですが、自信がありません。パテ塗りと塗装で経験を重ねてみたいと思います。最近は光硬化式のパテがあるので便利です。

The #320 and #800 files made it less noticeable, so I decided to leave it as it is. I can paint and finish it, but I’m not confident yet. I would like to gain experience with putting and painting. Recently, there is a light-curing putty, which is convenient.

外出自粛のため、外に出る機会がめっきりと減ってしまいました。少しでも身体を動かそうと散歩をしています。2km のコースをのんびり歩いていますが、途中の長い階段を登ると汗が滲んできます。150 段くらいあります。行き交う人と朝の挨拶ができるのも楽しみの一つになりました。

I’m taking a walk on the 2km course, but when I climb the long stairs along the way, I get sweaty. There are about 150 steps. It was one of the pleasures to be able to greet people in the morning.

ストーブの季節になると焼き芋を作っています。適当な大きさのサツマイモを選びます。アルミホィールで包んでストーブの上に乗せておきます。時々、回転しながら良く焼くと、ほくほくに出来上がります。私たちはこれを翌朝の食事に楽しんでいます。サツマイモは日光に充てると甘さが増すそうで、我が家の窓際に置いています。
