今日、私たち夫婦は 2 回目のコロナワクチン接種を終えました。副反応についてテレビの報道番組を見ていると心配になりましたが、感染拡大を抑えるためにも、重症化を防ぐためにも接種の道を選びました。会場には今日も多くの高齢者が来ていました。聞いていると今日が 1 回目の人も多く、少し驚きました。予約が取りにくかったことがここでも伺えました。街に出る機会があったので、少し歩いてみました。明日から 7 月になり、七夕の飾りつけもされ始めています。クルミは今朝も早起きでした。

朝からの雨は昼にやんで、少し陽の光を感じることができました。でも夕方にはまた曇ってきてこれから雨になる予報です。ここ数日は梅雨空が続きます。こんな日、クルミは室内で遊んでいます。私は妻の携帯回線変更をしました。少しでも経済的に安価な道を選んでいます。この UQ Mobile は 60 歳以上のユーザーには電話でのかけ放題で割引があるので助かります。これからも節約の生活です。

私は会社で仕事の一日でした。クルミはトリミングをしてもらいました。新しいトリマーさんに行きだして 3 回目となりました。毎回、写真を撮ってくれます。きちんと座って、カメラ目線をしているクルミは可愛いいです。トリミングしてもらい、シャンプーでさっぱりしたクルミは今日も良く眠っています。

午後から降り出した雨は夕方にはやみました。天気予報では一日雨の予報だったのでラッキーな気分です。雨が降らない午前中に今週の買い物をしてきました。駐車場で「前向きに駐車してください」と書かれた看板の前、全ての車が後ろ向きに駐車している光景を見ました。日本の駐車場は狭いこともあって、前から車を駐めるのは難しい時があります。斜めに停められるようにするなど、少し工夫すれば良いかも知れません。クルミは夕食の後、一緒に遊べと吠えてうるさい日でした。私も家事があるので、仕方なく抱っこ紐にクルミを入れて用事を済ませました。

今日、庭仕事をして気づいたのですが、庭の夏椿の木の根本を見てみると、2 本立てに植えた木が 1 本になっていました。20 年以上前のこと、いつから 1 本になっていたか気付きませんでした。時間の経過が早いことを感じます。クルミは昨日までの旅行の疲れはすっかり解消されたようで、今朝も早起きでした。おもちゃで遊んで楽しい一日でした。

2 泊の旅行を終えて、帰路につきました。今日も雨に降られずに助かりました。「晴れ男、晴れ女」という言葉があるようですが、妻の妹と一緒の時は雨に振られる確率が低いので、きっと彼女は「晴れ女」なのでしょう。帰る途中に河口湖畔のベーカリーに寄りました。人気の手作りパン屋で賑わっています。平日の朝にも関わらず、多くのお客様が来ていました。最近はこのような手作りパン屋さんが人気です。クルミは旅の疲れが出たのか、帰宅したら直ぐにお気に入りのソファーで横たわっていました。

After finishing the two night trip, We went back home. We were lucky without raining today also. There seems to be a word “sunny man, sunny woman”, but when we are with her wife’s sister, we are lucky to be avoided by the rain, so she must be “sunny woman”. On our way home, we stopped by a bakery on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi. It is crowded with popular handmade bakeries. Even though it was a weekday morning, many customers came. These handmade bakeries are popular these days. Kurumi lays on his favorite sofa as soon as he got home, probably because he was tired of traveling.

今日は大石公園を訪れました。多くの夏の花々が香る空気に包まれて、とても穏やかな朝を過ごすことができました。大石公園のラベンダーもまだ咲いていませんでしたが、蕾が膨らんでいて、淡い色がとても綺麗です。今回は妻の妹も旅行に参加しています。妻たちは多くのことを話していてとても楽しそうです。私はあまり会話を多くはしない性格なので、今回の旅行は妻にとってとても楽しいひと時になっていると思います。少し遅めの昼食をミウズカフェでいただきました。3 人で 2 品を分け合えるので、ここでも良い時間を持つことができました。クルミは連日のおでかけで少し疲れてしまいました。

The lavender in Oishi Park hasn’t bloomed yet, but the buds are swelling and the pale color is very beautiful. This time my wife’s sister is also joining with us in the trip. They are talking a lot and they look very happy. I don’t talk a lot, so I think this trip is a lot of fun for my wife. We had a little late lunch at Miuzu Cafe. We had a good time here as we could share the two items with three people. Kurumi got a little tired from going out every day.

今日から河口湖にドライブ旅行することとしました。緊急事態宣言が解除された訳ではありませんが、これも以前から予定していた旅行になります。この時期、河口湖はラベンダーが咲いていると期待して来ましたが、あと 1, 2 週間待つともっと綺麗な風景が見れたと思います。でも雨に降られることもなく、楽しい一日でした。明日は湖の反対側の公園を訪れてみます。クルミは私たちと一緒の布団で眠れるので嬉しそうです。

I decided to drive to Lake Kawaguchi from today. The state of emergency has been lifted, but it is a trip I previously planned. At this time, I expected Lake Kawaguchi to have lavender in bloom, but I think I could see a more beautiful landscape after waiting for another week or two. But it was a fun day without rain. Tomorrow we will visit the park on the other side of the lake. Kurumi looks happy because he can sleep on the futon with us tonight.

今朝もクルミは早起きでした。幸い雨ではなかったので、私は早朝の散歩を楽しむこととしました。そして私はマネープランナーさんとの 2 回目の面談の日でした。「人生 100 年時代です」とプランナーの人は言うのですが、まだ、実感が湧いてきません。何歳まで働いて、何歳で車を手放して、そんな話をしてきました。100 歳までを考えるとあと 33 年もあります。まだまだ働かなければならないと考える自分と、これからも楽しめるという自分が葛藤を始めました。今日、クルミは外に出ても直ぐに帰ってきてしまいました。ソファーの上で私たちと一緒にいるのが安心なのかも知れません。

The planner says, “It’s 100 years of life,” but I haven’t realized it yet. I’ve been talking about how old I stop working and how old I stop driving my car. Considering up to 100 years old, there are 33 years left for me. I started to struggle with myself, I still have to work, and I can enjoy such long time. Today, Kurumi came back soon after he went out. It may be he feels safe to be with us on the sofa.

今日は妻の誕生日、私と同じ歳になりました。会社から少し早めにアイスクリームを買って帰宅しました。暑かった午後、妻と二人でアイスクリームで誕生日を祝いました。そして、今日は夏至でした。一年のうちで昼間の時間が一番長い日でした。クルミは今日も元気におもちゃで遊んでいました。でも直ぐに眠ってしまいます。最近は眠る時間が長くなったように思います。明日の朝も早く起きることでしょう。

Today is my wife’s birthday, now she is the same age as me. I bought ice cream on the way back from the office to home. On a hot afternoon, my wife and I celebrated our birthday with ice cream. And today was the summer solstice. It was the longest day time of the year. Kurumi was playing with toys today. But he falls asleep soon. I think he sleeps longer these days. He’ll get up early tomorrow morning I am sure.
