昨夜の雨はやみ、朝から晴れ間の見える暑い日となりました。毎週土曜の午前中は妻とテニススクールに通っています。クルミは私たちが着替えると分かっているかのようにソワソワします。帰宅してから芝を刈りました。この数週間、雨の日が連続したので雑草も伸びてしまっていました。少し急いで作業したので、むらになってしまいましたが、この時期は直ぐに成長してくることでしょう。気になっていた仕事が一つ終えることができました。

The rain stopped last night, and it became a hot day with clear skies from the morning. I go to tennis school with my wife every Saturday morning. Kurumi understood he needs to stay home when we change clothes. After I got home, I mowed the lawn. Weeds have been growing due to continuous rainy days for the past few weeks. I worked a little in a hurry, so it became uneven, but it will grow soon at this season. I was able to finish one of the jobs I was keeping in the list.

駐車場に車を停めて、降りたらヤギの鳴き声が聞こえてきました。これは今日、買い物に出かけた時のことです。隣の車の助手席にいる子ヤギでした。きっと草刈りの仕事に行ってきたのでしょう。運転手は近くの店で買い物をしているようで、ヤギは寂しそうに鳴いていました。今日もどんよりとした天気で、朝夕は雨になりました。夕方のニュースで今後の天気予報が報じられていました。来週火曜には梅雨が開けるようです。本格的な夏が来ます。クルミは夕方になるとお腹が空いてしまうようで食事を催促しています。そして空腹が満たされるとまた眠ってしまいました。

The evening news reported the upcoming weather forecast. It seems that the rainy season will end next Tuesday. The summer is coming. Kurumi seems to be hungry in the evening and is urging to eat. And when he was full, he fell asleep again.

今日は一日中雨で、少し憂鬱な日です。気温は高くないのですが、湿度が高いこの季節は好きになれません。妻は買い物で出掛けていきました。私とクルミで留守番です。クルミはソファーの上で眠っています。時々、トイレと水飲みに起きて、少しおもちゃで遊んで、そしてまた寝てしまいました。クルミにとっても今日はつまらない日でした。梅雨が来週には開けるようですが、豪雨が襲ってくるような予報も出ています。熱海や他の地域で災害が起きた場所で二次災害が出ない事を願います。

Thus I and Kurumi were staying home. Kurumi is sleeping on the sofa. From time to time, he woke up for the toilet and drinking water, played with some toys, and fell asleep again. Today was a boring day for Kurumi also. It seems that the rainy season will end late next week, but there are forecasts that heavy rain will come again. We hope that there will be no secondary disasters in Atami or other areas where disasters have occurred.

今日は午後から雨が上がったのでクルミを連れて公園に出かけました。公園近くに最近オープンしたドッグカフェがあったのでそこで昼食をいただきました。外のテラス席には芝生のドッグランも付いていますが、今日は蒸し暑い日でしたので、エアコンが効いている室内の席にしました。クルミは初めての場所なので少し落ち着かない様子です。公園では散歩を楽しみました。今日は競技場が開放されていて、何人かがトラックを走っていました。私たちも近くまで行ってみて、走りやすくできていることを実感しました。でもこの 400m トラックを走り切る体力はありません。

It stopped raining this afternoon, so we went to the park with Kurumi. There was a dog cafe that opened recently near the park, so we had lunch there. The outside terrace seats also have a lawn dog run, but today was a hot and humid day, so we chose an air-conditioned indoor seat. Kurumi is his first place, so it seems a little uncomfortable to him. We enjoyed a walk in the park. The stadium was open today and some people were running on the track. We also went up close and realized that it is easier to run. But I don’t have the strength to run through this 400m track anymore.

今日は今にも雨が降り出しそうな曇り空の一日でした。湿度が高く、少し動くと汗が出てきます。こんな日、クルミは水をたくさん飲みます。一日に数回なのですが、飲み出すと食器に顔を突っ込んでたくさん水を飲みます。昨日は訃報を聞いて、少し憂鬱な一日でした。昔、部下だった回路設計のエンジニアが闘病生活の末、他界されたそうです。一緒に仕事をしたのは短い期間でしたが、今でも会話の内容を覚えています。残念なことです。

A circuit design engineer who was a subordinate passed away after a fight against illness. I worked with the engineer for a short time, but I still remember the conversation. It is unfortunate.

今日も雨のためにクルミは家の中で過ごしました。クルミは時々窓の外を見てはのんびりとしていました。私も散歩ができないので今日はルームランナーでカロリーを消費しました。

今年も雨の季節が来て、昨日は熱海市で土石流の災害が発生してしまいました。日本列島は山が多いので災害が大きくなる傾向にあります。テレビではこの話題でニュースが始まっています。雨の降る朝でしたが、散歩をしました。いつもの小道は両側から木が張り出してきています。雨水の重さで枝が垂れ下がっています。この雨は来週も続きそうです。クルミは今日も家の中で遊んで過ごしました。庭で遊べるようになる日を心待ちにしているようです。

昨夜から降り続いた雨は今朝まで続いていました。雨の音で目を覚ましました。庭の芝は雨で喜んでいます。晴れ間が出たら芝を刈ってやるのですが、この先は雨が続きそうです。散歩をしていても草木が雨を楽しんでいるようです。ブルーベリーの木には実がたくさんついています。クルミは今日も家の中で遊んでいます。遊び疲れるとソファーで眠ってしまいました。夜は行きつけの寿司屋に行きました。とても珍しい国産のスルメイカをいただくことができました。

ワクチン接種後の副反応は今朝からほとんど感じなくなりました。妻も同様です。抗体の効果が出るまで少し日数が必要なのでしょうが、これで少し安心して外出できるようになります。しかし、今後もマスクを着けて、手洗い、消毒は続けることになります。まったく、コロナウィルスによって世界が変わってしまいました。体調も良くなったので近くの神社まで散歩してみました。ここは紫陽花が綺麗な所です。もう時期が過ぎてしまいましたが、雨に濡れた紫陽花を楽しむことができました。歩いていて、百合の香りに誘われて路地に入ってみました。綺麗な百合も見ることができました。クルミは今日も庭に出られず、少し不満の様子です。

Kurumi is little dissatisfied with being unable to go out to the garden today due to the rain.

昨日の夕方ワクチンを摂取してまる 1 日が経過しました。2 回目の副反応は前回よりも強く、腕の痛みが続いています。妻は微熱が出ています。今日はなるべく家の中にいて過ごしました。明日には回復していることを期待します。新しく契約した回線のサービスは使わなかったデータ量を翌月に繰越してくれます。毎月、3 GB もあれば足りるのですが、このサービスは助かります。クルミと長い時間一緒に遊べました。
