私は自宅で仕事、妻は外出の今日でした。クルミと一緒に留守番なので、クルミとリビングで過ごしました。仕事の道具をリビングに持ち込んだのですが、正直、半分はクルミと一緒に遊んでしまいました。寒い日でしたから庭に出たのは少しの時間でした。ストーブをずっと使いました。クルミはストーブから噴き出る暖かい風をぺろぺろと舐めるような仕草をしていてかわいいです。

I worked from home and my wife was out today. I was stay at home with Kurumi, so I spent time with him in the living room. I brought my work tools to the room, but to be honest, half of time played with him. It was a cold day so it was a short time to go out to the garden. I used the stove all the time. Kurumi is cute because he makes a gesture like licking the warm breeze from the stove.

クルミの爪を切ってやりました。これまでに何回もやっているのですが、黒い爪を切る時は緊張してしまいます。血管の位置が確認できません。今日も 2 本の爪を少し深く切ってしまいました。それでもクルミは痛がらず、止血剤があるので安心です。午後は犬が入れるカフェで休憩しました。ここはクルミにおやつをくれるので、クルミの大のお気に入りの場所です。帰宅したらポストにバレンタインのカードが海外の友人から届いていました。コロナは私たちに身近な人たちのことを考える時間を与えてくれて良かった、と書かれていました。考え方がポジティブな彼女にはこれまでも多くのことを教えていただきました。

I cut Kurumi’s nails today. I’ve done it many times so far, but when I cut his black nails, I get nervous. The position of the blood vessel cannot be confirmed. I cut two nails a little deeper today. Still, Kurumi doesn’t hurt and I’m relieved to have a hemostatic agent. In the afternoon, we took a break at a cafe where dogs can enter. This is a great favorite place for Kurumi as it gives himnacks. When I got home, I received a Valentine’s card from an overseas friend at the mailbox. It was written that Corona was glad to give us time to think about the people around us. She has a positive mindset and has taught me many things.

昨日、大雨を降らせた低気圧は北海道地方へ移動しました。小樽に住む友人に連絡、今日は外出をしないようにするとのことでした。自宅で仕事をした今日は昼休みの時間をクルミと過ごすことができました。太陽の光が眩しい、暖かい日になりました。

Yesterday, the low pressure system that caused heavy rain moved to the Hokkaido region. I contacted a friend who lives in Otaru and told me not to go out today. Today I worked from home and was able to spend my lunch break with Kurumi. It was a warm day with bright sunlight.

今日は会社に行く日だったのでクルミとの時間は短い日でした。久しぶりに雨の一日でした。急速に発達した低気圧は東北地方に進んでいきました。地震で被災された地域の人たちは今度は雨の心配で大変だと思います。嬉しいニュースはコロナのワクチンが承認され、医療従事者の人への接種が始まろうとしています。明日からはまた天気の良い日が続きそうです。

I went to my office today, so the time with Kurumi was short. It was a rainy day that several days we did not have rain last. The rapidly developing low pressure system advanced to the Tohoku region. I think that the people in the area affected by the earthquake will have a hard time worrying about rain this time. The good news is that the corona vaccine has been approved and medical workers are about to begin vaccination. It looks like the weather will continue to be fine from tomorrow.

暖かい日でした。近くの公園に出かけてみました。家族連れが多く、賑やかでしたね。クルミは久しぶりの公園を楽しそうに歩いていましたね。近くのカフェで昼食の間、クルミは椅子で大人しく待っていてくれました。来週はまた寒さが戻ってくるとか、でも季節はすっかり春になってきました。

It was a warm day. We went to a nearby park. There were many families and it was lively. Kurumi was walking happily in the park after a long absence. During lunch at a nearby cafe, Kurumi waited quietly in the chair. It will be cold again next week, but the season has come to spring.

毎週土曜日はテニススクールなので、今日もクルミに留守番をお願いしました。幸いにも暖かい日で、テニスをしていて少し汗をかきました。クルミは食事をするときは食器を台に置いて食べます。こうすることで飲み込みも良いようです。不思議なのは水はこの高さだと咽せてしまいます。今週も穏やかに過ごすことができました。明日はクルミと一緒に外に出られると良いですね。

Every Saturday is a tennis school, so I asked Kurumi for staying home today as well. Fortunately it was a warm day and I sweated a little while playing tennis. When eating Kurumi, tableware is placed on the table. It seems that swallowing is also good by doing this. The strange thing is that water can be throated at this height. We were able to spend this week calmly. I hope we can go out with Kurumi tomorrow.

今朝もまだ暗いうちからクルミと私は起きました。昨夜の暖かさが残ったリビングで時間が流れるのをのんびりと待っていました。今日、私は HLA 献血で外出しています。HLA とは血液の白血球や血小板の型のことで、適合する患者さんの治療があると献血に呼ばれて協力しています。治療にもよりますが、この後も定期的に呼ばれることが考えられます。帰り道、電車のホームから珍しい機関車を見ることができました。EF 64 型の電気機関車です。青く塗装された車体は有名ですが、この色を見たのは初めてでした。

Kurumi and I woke up this morning while it was still dark. We were waiting leisurely for the time to flow in the living room where the warmth of last night remained. Today I am out with an HLA blood donation. HLA is a type of white blood cells and platelets in the blood, and when there is treatment for a suitable patient, I am called to donate blood and cooperate. Depending on the treatment, it may be called regularly after this. On the way back, I could see a rare locomotive from the train platform. It is an EF 64 type electric locomotive. The car body painted in blue is famous, but it was the first time I saw this color.

今日は少し長い時間の留守番となってしまいました。クルミは私たちが留守の間はケージに入って休みます。おそらく眠っているのだろうと思います。そして私たちが帰宅すると「早く出して」と言っているかのように吠えます。留守をしている間はクルミのことが気になってしまいます。だから、帰宅した後は少し甘えさせてやっています。

We’ve been away for a little longer today. Kurumi rests in the cage while we are away. I think he is probably sleeping. And when we get home, he barks as if he was saying, “Get out early.” I’m worried about Kurumi while we’re away. So, after I get home, I’m doing it a little spoiled.

今朝もまだ暗いうちから一緒に起きてリビングでのんびりすることができました。クルミは気に入った場所でまた眠ってしまいます。朝の散歩で鶯の鳴く声を聞くことができました。今シーズン初めてのことです。ホオジロやメジロの姿も見ることができて清々しい時間を過ごすことができました。今日もたっぷりの陽の光に包まれて穏やかに過ごすことができました。

I was able to get up together and relax in the living room this morning while it was still dark. Kurumi falls asleep again wherever he like. I was able to hear the warbler singing during the morning walk. It was the first time this season. I was able to spend a refreshing time by seeing the appearance of buntings and white-eyes. We were able to spend a peaceful time today surrounded by plenty of sunlight.

朝 5 時半に起きたクルミと私はリビングで空が明るくなるのを待っています。今日の朝焼けはとても綺麗でした。そして散歩を始める頃には青空が広がっています。梅の花が青い空を背景にとても爽やかに見えました。クルミはこのソファーがお気に入りで昼間のほとんどの時間をここで過ごしています。今日もたくさん遊びました。そしてぐっすりとおやすみなさい。

Kurumi and I woke up at 5:30 in the morning waiting for the sky to brighten in the living room. The sunrise today was very beautiful. And by the time I start my daily walk, the blue sky is spreading. The plum blossoms looked very refreshing against the blue sky. Kurumi loves this sofa and spend most of the day here. He played a lot today. And good night.
