やっと安定して良い天気が続くようになりました。日中は暑いくらいの気温になりますが夕方からは涼しくなってとても過ごし良い一日でした。こんな日、クルミは庭に出て遊ぶのが楽しそうです。大好きなイチゴも毎日採れます。近くのスーパーマーケットに買い物にいった機会に駐車場にある電気自動車用の充電設備を利用してみました。この施設は急速ではなく、AC 通常充電なので 1 時間で 10% しか充電することができませんでした。

Finally, the stable and good weather has come to continue. It was hot during the day, but it was cool in the evening and it was a very nice day. On such a day, Kurumi seems to enjoy playing in the garden. He can also pick his favorite strawberries every day. When I went shopping at a nearby supermarket, I tried using the charging equipment for electric vehicles in the parking lot. 今日はクルミの通院日、ワクチン接種と先月処方してもらった薬のフォローアップをしてもらいました。この病院はとても混雑します。最近は待合室が混み合うので外や自分の車の中で待つ人が多くなりました。そこで、順番が来たら呼び出してもらえるシステムが入り、待っている私たちにとってはとても便利になりました。電気自動車だと、エアコンを効かせて車内で待っていられます。排気ガスが出ないので周囲にも気になりません。少し長い待ち時間でしたが、とても快適でした。

Recently, avoid the crowded waiting room, so many people wait outside or in their own car. Now, we have a system that can be called when it is our turn, which is very convenient for us who are waiting. With an electric car, I can turn on the air conditioner and wait in the car. Since it does not emit exhaust gas, it does not bother the surroundings. It was a little long waiting time, but it was very comfortable.

良い天気に誘われて清里高原までドライブすることにしました。クルミを後部座席に乗せていつものように高速を西に走りました。清里萌木の村にはお気に入りの店があって、そこのオーナーとは顔見知りになりました。今日も会えることができて良かったです。私たちと同年代なので話が合います。お互いに終活のことについて今日は少し触れることができました。日帰りで往復するには少し遠いのですが、高速を自動運転してくれる車になったのでとても快適でした。

Invited by the good weather, I decided to drive to Kiyosato Plateau. I put Kurumi in the back seat and ran west on the highway as usual. クルミは最近とても元気です。薬が効いたのか、それとも天候が良くなったのか、理由は分かりません。しかし、クルミが元気でいてくれることに感謝しています。家族が健康でいられることがなによりの幸せと感じます。今夜は寿司屋で外食をいただきました。破竹の焼き筍は今のシーズンしか食べられない一品です。とても美味しくいただきました。

Kurumi is very well these days. I don’t know why the medicine worked or the weather improved. But I am grateful that he is doing well. I feel happy that my family can stay healthy. We had a meal at a sushi restaurant tonight. Bamboo shoots are a dish that can only be eaten this season. It was very delicious.

ゴールデンウィークでのコロナウィルス感染拡大は防げたとのことで、政府は感染対策を徐々に軽減することとしました。外で、人との接触が無い場合はマスクを外して良いことになりました。早速、朝の散歩ではマスクを外すことにしました。草花の香りが新鮮です。外で深呼吸できることに感謝します。今日は薪ストーブのメンテナンスをプロの人に行っていただきました。昨年からお願いしている人が来てくれました。2 時間の作業を終えて綺麗になったストーブです。今年の冬も安心して使えます。クルミは大きな掃除機の音が聞こえたようで、少し怖がっていました。

He cleaned it after 2 hours of work. I can use it with confidence this winter again. Kurumi seemed to hear the sound of a loud vacuum cleaner and he was a little scared.

朝の散歩でキウイフルーツの木に花がたくさん付いているのを見つけました。この木にはいつもたくさん実が付きます。そして、息子の嫁と散歩して見つけた竹の子が立派に育っているのを見て驚きました。あれからまだ 1 週間なのですが、すでに 6, 7 m の高さになっています。今日も良い天気の一日で、クルミと庭で遊ぶ時間が持てました。

On my morning walk, I found a lot of flowers on the kiwifruit tree. This tree always bears a lot of fruit. And I was surprised to see that the bamboo shoots I found while taking a walk with my son’s wife were growing up well. It’s only been a week since then, but it’s 6 or 7 meters high already. It was a nice day today and I had time to play with Kurumi in the garden.

今月から乗り始めた電気自動車です。車を持つと、ボディーを綺麗に保つことに神経を使います。これまで数々のコーティングを試してきましたが、結局は水垢というかウロコのような跡が付いてしまいます。この原因はボディーに付いた水が玉になり、そこに日光が当たるとレンズ効果で塗装面を傷つけたり、水の成分が残って付着することと理解しています。だからと言って雨に濡れた後直ぐに拭き取ることもできません。水道水も良くないことは知っていますが、洗車には水道水を使うしかありません。さて、今回の愛車では Aqua Queen という親水性のコーティングを施工することとしました。

This time, I decided to apply a hydrophilic coating called Aqua Queen on my car this time.

1 週間ぶりに朝からの快晴の気持ち良い日となりました。早朝の散歩を済ませ、今日はガレージの掃除をしました。前から気になっていたのですが、小石を入れた溝が汚れてしまいました。ここに土を入れて芝を植えてみました。玉芝はこのような箇所でも育つと思います。クルミのために育てているイチゴも赤くなってきています。小さなてんとう虫が来ていました。一眼レフカメラを持っていたので、てんとう虫が飛び立つ瞬間を撮影してみました。きっとこのような画像もスマホで撮れるのでしょう。

It was a nice sunny day from the morning since the past 7 days. After taking a walk early in the morning, I cleaned the garage today. I’ve been worried about it for a long time, but the groove containing the pebbles got dirty. I put soil here and planted grass. I think Tamashiba will grow even in such places. The strawberries grown for Kurumi are also getting red. A small ladybug was coming. I had a single-lens reflex camera, so I took a picture of the moment when a ladybug took off. I’m sure I can take such an image with my smartphone but not sure.

ここ数日は気温が低い日が続いています。今日も冷たい雨が降る肌寒い日でした。庭のイチゴもなかなか赤くなりません。クルミは寒いのか一日中よく眠っています。私たちもクルミが膝の上にいると暖かくて気持ちが良いです。昨日設定したガレージの操作をスマートウォッチでも行えるようにしてみました。また一つ、便利になりました。

Kurumi sleeps well all day, probably because it’s cold. We also feel warm and comfortable when he is on our lap. I tried to make it possible to operate the garage control yesterday with a smart watch. Another thing has become convenient.

今日は義父の命日です。墓参りに義妹も来てくれました。早いもので 9 年が過ぎてしまいました。義妹はしばらく家で時間を過ごしていきました。クルミはお客さんが来ると嬉しそうにしています。私はガレージに設置されている電動オーバードアに、コントローラをスマホで操作できるコンバータの設置を行なってみました。これまで長年使ってきたコントローラの動作が鈍くなってしまいました。最近は多くのことがスマホで実現できてしまいます。

Today is the anniversary of my father-in-law’s death. My sister-in-law also came to visit the grave. Nine years have passed already since then. My sister-in-law spent some time at our home. Kurumi is happy when someone come. I installed a converter that can operate as the controller from smartphone for the electric overdoor installed in the garage. The controller I’ve been using for many years has slowed down. Nowadays, many things can be realized with smartphones.
