私は特定患者さんのために献血に行きました。先月も呼ばれたのですが、今回も同じ患者さんかは不明です。献血は 70 歳までだそうで、あと数年は貢献したいと思います。1 時間、ベッドに横になったままですが、テレビを見ることができるので助かります。帰宅後、クルミを連れてお墓参りをしました。今日は暑い日でしたが、クルミは元気に歩いてくれました。

I went to donate blood for a specific patient. I was called last month, but I’m not sure if it’s the same patient this time. It is applicable that blood donation is up to 70 years old, and I would like to contribute for the next few years. I’ve been lying in bed for an hour, but it’s helpful to be able to watch TV. After returning home, We visited the grave with Kurumi. It was a hot day today, but Kurumi walked well.

自動車運転免許の更新をしました。この地域の警察署で行えるので助かります。家から警察署まで歩いて行きました。小雨が降る寒い日です。でも歩いていると暖かくなり、気分も良いです。今後、サポカー限定免許ができることを知りました。高齢者の事故が増えている今、自動的に人間の異常動作を検出して事故を未然に防げるなら、限定免許も良いと思います。スイレンの花が咲き始めました。急に寒くなった今日、少し花には過酷だったかも知れません。クルミは今日も元気です。食事を終わってもまだ足りない素振りをしていました。

I have renewed my driver’s license. It is helpful because I can do it at the police station in this area. I walked from my house to the police station. It’s a cold day with a light rain. But when I walk, it gets warmer and I feel better. I learned that a support car limited license will be applied in near future. Now that the number of elderly accidents is increasing, if it can automatically detect abnormal human movements and prevent accidents, I think a limited license is also good. Water lily flowers have begun to bloom. It may have been a bit harsh on the flowers today when it suddenly became cold. Kurumi is fine today. Even after finishing the meal, he was still wanting to eat.

家の床は全室フローリングになっています。水拭きをすると気持ちが良いのですが、面積が大きくて大変です。これまで使っていた自動掃除機に替わって新型を使うことにしました。このモデルは学習能力が高くなっていて、部屋の隅々まで拭き掃除をしてくれます。タンクに入れた水を前面から噴射するのも良いです。数年でまた新型が出ることを考えて、今回はレンタルにしてみました。日額 100 円になります。レンタル品なので、気兼ねなく使えるような気もします。クルミは掃除機が動いていても気にならず、涼しい今日もよく寝ていました。

The floor of our house is all wooden flooring. It feels good to wipe it with water, but the area is large and it is tough job for me. I decided to use a new model of the automatic wipe cleaner replace that I used to use. This model has a high learning ability and will wipe every corner of the room. It is also good to spray the water from the front. Considering that a new model will come out again in a few years, I decided to rent it this time. The daily amount will be 100 yen. It’s a rental item, so I feel like I can use it more often. Kurumi didn’t bother even if the cleaner was running, and he slept well at cool day today.

今朝はクルミの爪を切ってあげました。クルミは外を散歩しないためか爪が伸びるのが早いです。大人しく切らせてくれるので助かります。かかりつけの整骨院の医師に頼まれて「酸素」に関する資料を作ってみました。コロナウィルスの問題で血中酸素濃度に興味がありますが、私たちの身体の細胞は常に酸欠状態にあることも知ることができました。人間の不思議を少し勉強することができました。

I cut the nails for Kurumi this morning. His nails grow quickly, probably because he doesn’t take a walk outside. It is helpful because he is quiet while I was working. I was asked by a doctor at my osteopathic clinic to make a document about “oxygen”. We are interested in blood oxygen levels due to the coronavirus problem, but I also learned that the cells in our body are constantly oxygen deficient. I was able to study a little about human wonders.

今日は週に一度の出勤日、会社で設計者と会って話をすることができました。部下だった彼らと話すのはいつも楽しい時間となります。部下には「常に夢を持って、ワクワクすることを大切にしなさい」と教えてきました。今、私はワクワクしているだろうか？退職してから、私は夢を持たなくなったかも知れません。仕事ばかりだったからかも知れません。クルミは食欲旺盛。妻がデザートのリンゴの皮を剥き出すとソファーから走ってきて妻の足元でおねだりします。クルミのように何か夢中になることを見つけなければと思った次第です。

Today I was able to meet and talk with the engineers at the company on my weekly work day. Talking to them who were subordinates is always a fun time. I have taught my subordinates, “Always have a dream and value excitement.” Am I excited now? After I retired, I may not have a dream. Maybe it was just work I find my dream. Kurumi has a strong appetite. When my wife peels the apple for dessert, he runs from the sofa and begs at her feet. I just wanted to find something to be excited like Kurumi.

気温が高く、夜明けが早くなったためか、クルミは朝 4 時半に起きるようになりました。でも、しばらく私と一緒にいると直ぐに眠ってしまいます。庭のスイレンの蕾が一つ、水面に顔をのぞかせました。花が咲くのが楽しみです。散歩で訪れた近くの畑にはインゲンが実っていました。今日は母の日の日曜日、夕方は海外に住む息子夫婦とのオンライン会話を楽しみました。私も妻に感謝の日々です。

Kurumi began to wake up at 4:30 in the morning, probably because of the warm temperatures and early dawn. But when he is with me for a while, he fall asleep immediately. One water lily bud in the garden show from the surface of the water. I’m looking forward to the flowers blooming. Green beans were growing in the nearby fields I visited on a walk. Today was Mother’s Day Sunday, and in the evening we enjoyed an online conversation with our son and his wife they live abroad. I am also grateful to my wife.

芝の手入れのシーズンを前に芝刈り機のメンテナンスをしました。バリカン型の芝刈り機では何度か石を挟んでしまったので歯が欠けています。回転型の芝刈り機は長年使い込んできていますが、便利な道具の一つになっています。今日は曇り空の一日でした。クルミは庭で遊ぶ時間ができて満足そうでした。

I maintained the lawn mower before the lawn maintenance season today. The clipper type lawn mower has a few stones caught in it, so brades are damaged. The rotary lawn mower has been used for many years and has become one of the useful tools. Today was a cloudy day. Kurumi seemed happy to have time to play in the garden.

天気が悪い一日でした。午後からは雨となり、少し肌寒い日でした。クルミは庭に出られないので少しご機嫌が悪いようです。私の膝に来て甘えていました。今日は自宅で仕事をしていたのでクルミとの時間があまりもてませんでした。

It was a not good weather day today. It started raining in the afternoon and it was a little chilly. Kurumi can’t go out to the garden, so he seems to be in a bad mood. He came to my lap and was spoiled. I was working from home today so I didn’t have much time with Kurumi.

今朝の散歩では近くのスポーツ施設まで足を伸ばしてみました。緊急事態宣言発令中は休館となっていて、ひっそりとしています。緊急事態宣言は5月11日までとなっていましたが、政府は更に延長することを検討しているようで、今夕に発表されるそうです。庭に目をやるとイチゴが実ってきました。レモンの花が今年も咲いています。今年植え替えた芝には穂が出てきていてここも刈ることになります。今日は自宅での仕事、クルミとの時間は短いです。

When I looked in the garden, strawberries came to fruition. Lemon flowers are in bloom again this year. The green that was replanted this year has ears that is the sign to cut this area. I have a short time with Kurumi since working at home today.

私は脳神経外科に 2 ヶ月毎に通院しています。今日はその通院日でした。休日とあって病院に人は少なく、少し安心できる空間でした。血液検査について医師と会話をして一安心、このまま処方薬の服用を継続します。今朝からコロナウィルスワクチン摂取の予約受付が開始されています。病院に人が少なかったのはそのためかも知れません。私は最初からネットワークが繋がらないことを予想していました。私たち夫婦の予約が取れたのは夕方になってからでした。今月下旬に一回めの摂取ができることになりました。しかし、インド型ウィルスの感染も広がってきていて、余談を許さない状況に変わりはありません。今日は曇りから雨、少し肌寒い日となりました。クルミはおもちゃで遊ぶこともなく、ベッドで丸くなって眠っています。

I go to neurosurgery every two months. Today was the day of the hospital visit. There were few people in the hospital because it was a holiday, so it was a little reassuring space. I have a conversation with my doctor about the blood test, and I feel relieved, and I will continue to take prescription drugs. Reservations for coronavirus vaccine intake have started this morning. That may be the reason why there were few people in the hospital. From the beginning I expected the network to not connect. It wasn’t until the evening that we were able to make a reservation for us. We will be able to take the first dose later this month. However, the infection of Indian virus is spreading, and the situation remains unremarkable. Today was cloudy to rainy and a little chilly. Kurumi is sleeping in bed without playing with toys today.
