今日は昨日よりも気温が低く、風があったので助かりました。明日からはしばらく雨が続くようです。雨が降る前に芝を刈ることにしました。芝刈り機を使って 15 mm 程度に刈っていきます。芝刈り機が届かないところは手作業でバリカンを入れていきます。狭い庭なのですが、全て終えるには 2 時間かかりました。刈られた直後の芝は気持ちが良いのかクルミはヒョコヒョコと歩いていました。久しぶりに庭に出ることができてクルミも満足したようです。

It was cooler today than yesterday and it was windy so much better than yesterday. It seems that it will continue to rain for a while from tomorrow. I decided to mow the lawn before it rained. Use a lawn mower to mow to about 15 mm long. The space lawn mower does not reach, I use the clippers manually. It’s not a wide garden, but it took me two hours to finish it all. Did the grass feel good right after it was cut? Kurumi was walking around. It seems that the Kurumi was satisfied with being able to go out to the garden.

クルミが吠えて起こされました。まだ 5 時前だったのですが、そのままクルミと一緒に起きることにしました。今日は台風が去った後、フェーン現象が起きて酷暑になる予報が出ていました。少し歩こうと思い外に出たら、まだ 5 時なのにもう気温は高くなっています。東の空には雲の向こうに朝日が、そして西の空には虹が見られました。自宅で仕事をしていたのですが、気がつくと室内は 34 ℃にもなっています。クルミと一緒にエアコンが効く室内にいると快適です。明日もまだ暑いとか、このところ、雨と暑さでクルミは思うように庭で遊べずに残念です。

I was awakened by Kurumi barked this morning. It was still 5 o’clock, but I decided to get up with Kurumi. When I was trying to walk a little, the temperature was already high even though it was 5 o’clock. The morning sun was seen over the clouds in the eastern sky, and the rainbow was seen in the western sky. I used to work from home, but when I noticed, the temperature inside the room was as high as 34 ° C. It is comfortable to be in an air-conditioned room with Kurumi. It’s still hot tomorrow, and it’s a pity that Kurumi can’t play in the garden as expected due to the rain and heat these days.

家で過ごす時間が長くなって、家の中の音が気になるようになりました。気をつけているのですが、扉が風でバタンと閉まります。そっと扱っているのですが、キャビネットがガタンと音を立てて閉まります。水道の栓を絞るとシャーっという音が気になって対策しました。扉とキャビネットにも対策をしてみました。扉に付けたクローザーは簡単に後付けできるのですが、開ける時の重さと、閉まる速度が少し遅いのが残念でした。

I am spending longer time at home and I’m worried about the sounds inside the house. I’m careful, but the door closes with a bang by the wind. I’m handling it gently, but the cabinet closes with a rattling noise. When I squeezed the water tap, I was worried about the squeaking noise and worked out before. I also tried out for doors and cabinets. However I am happy with those results.

台風による強風が時折吹く一日でした。雨も混じっていて、緊急事態宣言も出されていて、こんな日は家の中で過ごすしかありません。少し穏やかになった午後、時間を見計らって歩いてみました。百日紅の木に咲く花が綺麗です。空に浮かぶ雲は早い速度で流れています。クルミは退屈にしていました。

It was a day with occasional strong winds from typhoons. It’s raining and there’s a state of emergency, so I have no choice but to spend today at home. In the afternoon when it became a little calm wind, I tried walking for short distance. The flowers that bloom on the crape myrtle tree are beautiful. Clouds in the sky are flowing at a high speed. Kurumi was boring today.

今日で東京オリンピックが閉幕します。今、閉会式が行われています。コロナ禍の中、開催できたことについて、私は良かったと思います。多くの国から人が集まって、たくさんの感動を与えてくれました。私が前回の東京オリンピックを観た時の感動は今でも覚えています。きっと、多くの子供たちもこの東京 2020 オリンピックのことを覚えていることでしょう。台風が去った午後、クルミと庭に出ることができました。

The Tokyo Olympics will end today. The closing ceremony is being held now. I am glad that we were able to hold the event in the midst of the corona situation. People from many countries gathered and impressed me a lot. I still remember the excitement when I saw the last Tokyo Olympics. I’m sure many children will remember this Tokyo 2020 Olympics. I was able to go out to the garden with Kurumi the afternoon after the typhoon left today.

台風の影響で今日は時々雨が強く降っています。風が強くないので助かっています。台風 10 号は明日の午後にかけて接近してくるようです。台風 9 号は西日本に上陸するようで、大きな災害が発生しないことを祈ります。ワクチン接種証明書が届きました。A4 の大きさの紙版なので持ち運びには不便ですが、何かの機会で必要になってくると思い、申請しておいたものです。クルミは天気が悪かったので、一日中家の中で過ごしました。ポケットにお気に入りのおもちゃを入れたクルミは可愛らしく、妻と笑ってしまいました。

Typhoon No. 9 seems to land in western Japan, and I pray that no major disaster will occur. I received a vaccination certificate. It’s an A4 size paper version, so it’s inconvenient to carry around, but I thought I’d need it for some occasion, so I applied for it. Kurumi spent all day at home because the weather he couldn’t go out. Kurumi put his favorite toy in his pocket was so cute that I and wife laughed.

連日の猛暑日で少し疲れが出てきたかも知れません。今日は散歩も短い時間にしました。鬼灯の実がオレンジ色に変わってきています。朝顔が青空に映えて綺麗です。そんな様子を見ながら歩いていると時間を忘れてしまいますが、気付けば汗をたくさんかいていました。こんな日は冷たい物がほしくなります。妻と近くのスターバックスで発売初日の商品をいただきました。今日もクルミとの時間を楽しみました。クルミは私が家事をしている間、抱っこ紐に抱えられて様子を見るのが大好きになりました。そして、私たちが夕食を始めるとおとなしく眠ってしまいました。

I may have become a little tired due to the intense heat of the day. I took a short walk today. The fruit of the demon lantern is turning orange. The morning glory shines in the blue sky and is beautiful. I forget the time when I walk while watching such a thing, but when I noticed, I was sweating a lot. I want something cold on such a day. I received the product on the first day of sale with my wife at the Starbucks cafe near our house. I enjoyed the time with Kurumi today as well. Kurumi likes with being held in a leash while I was doing things in house. And when we started dinner, he fell asleep quietly.

今日は終日、自宅で仕事をしました。午前中は電話会議が無かったのでクルミとエアコンが効いているリビングで仕事をしていました。私が時々立つと、庭に出たいと誘ってきます。いつもは昼寝をしているクルミですが、私がそばにいるとソワソワしています。午後は電話会議があったので私は書斎で仕事。しばらくはクルミとは遊べませんでした。コロナの感染予防のため自宅で過ごす時間が多くなり、クルミとの接し方も変わってきました。

I worked from home all day today. I didn’t have a conference call in the morning, so I was working in a living room with Kurumi where air conditioning has. When I stand up from time to time, he invites me to go out to the garden. Kurumi is usually taking a nap, but when I’m by his side, he was exciting. I had a conference call in the afternoon so I worked in my office. I couldn’t play with Kurumi for a while. I spend more time at home to prevent corona infections, and the way I interact with Kurumi has changed.

クルミは今日、検診を受けに獣医さんを訪ねました。待合室で待っている間、クルミは大人しくしていました。院長先生はクルミの診断をしてくれました。心臓の異音もなく、安心です。ただ、白内障が進んでいることを気にしていました。今日も暑い日となりました。イチョウの木には銀杏がたくさん実り始めています。帰宅したクルミは疲れたのか、私の横で眠ってしまいました。

Kurumi visited a veterinarian today for a medical examination. While waiting in the waiting room, Kurumi was quiet. The director made a diagnosis of Kurumi. There is no abnormal heart noise and confirmed Kurumi health. However, I was concerned that cataracts were progressing now. It was a hot day today as well. Many ginkgo nuts are beginning to grow on the ginkgo tree. Kurumi got tired so he came home and fell asleep next to me.

今日もコロナウイルス新規感染者の数が多く報道されています。このニュースを聞く度に私は複雑な思いになります。全体の検査数に対する陽性者の比率も増加しているので、感染が拡大していることは間違いありません。日々の暮らしの中で注意するしか手がありません。昼食をカフェのカウンターで食べました。前のお客様が去った後、消毒をいていることを示すカードが置かれています。私も、食事を終えた後、カードを反転させておきましたが、忘れてしまうケースもあるのでしょう。一人一人が協力し合い、理解し合い、早くこの感染地獄から抜け出したいものです。今日も暑い日でした。帰宅してクルミとの時間を楽しみました。

Many new cases of coronavirus infection are reported today again. Every time I hear this news, I get mixed feelings. The ratio of positives to the total number of tests is also increasing, so there is no doubt that the infection is spreading. There is no choice but to be careful in daily life. I had lunch at the cafe counter. There is a card indicating that the table has been disinfected after leaving the previous customer. I also flipped the card after finishing the meal, but in some cases people may forget it. We want each and every one of us to work together, understand each other, and get out of this COVID hell as soon as possible. It was a hot day today as well. I went back to home and enjoyed the time with Kurumi.
