We visited the Hossawa-no-taki Waterfall, which has been selected as one of Japan’s top 100 waterfalls. The approximately 1km path from the parking lot to the waterfall follows a riverbank where you can hear the babbling stream, and it’s a comfortable walk with wood chips laid on the ground. Despite the scorching heat today, the area around the waterfall was cool and provided a very pleasant atmosphere. The nearby cafe was a relief with its air-conditioned interior and they even welcome Kurumi. Although the window seats were fully occupied, it seems you could still catch a glimpse of the river’s babbling from there. I enjoyed a delicious lunch. It was a hot day, and I hesitated to bring Kurumi along, but I still think it was great that everyone came together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
